Psalm
112: 1-8 speaks of the established heart!
I
want you to pay close attention to what the Psalmist is saying here. "He
shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon
his enemies."
To
be the overcomer, you must have your heart established in God's Word. It is a
must!! Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee.

Scripture for the week:
Psalm 112:1-8
"Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies."

John
Saw His Glory on The Mount of Transfiguration
Years
later, in the 1st chapter of his Gospel, vs. 14, John says, "The Word
became flesh, and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory
of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
John knew what he was talking about, for on that mountainside they had seen
Jesus transfigured, His appearance changing dramatically, His face and clothing
shining like the light of the sun. And just as that happened, Moses & Elijah
appeared and began talking with Jesus. So awed was Peter by this sight that he
said, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three
shelters - one for you, one for Moses & one for Elijah." But that
obviously wasn’t God’s plan, for "While he was still speaking, a bright
cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, `This is my Son, whom I
love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!’" About a
week before the transfiguration Jesus had asked His apostles this question,
"Who do people say that I am?" They replied, "Some think that you
are Elijah or Jeremiah or one of the other prophets. Some even think that you
might be John the Baptist come back from the dead." Then Jesus asked them,
"But what about you?...Who do you say that I am?" It was Peter who
answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God" [Matthew
16:16]. I have always wondered how the other apostles reacted when Peter
said that. Did they all join in, saying, "He’s right, you are the Christ,
the Son of the Living God. Peter is absolutely right!" Or did they look at
one another in confusion? Did they turn to Peter and ask, "Why did you say
that? Are you really convinced that He is the Messiah?" I also wonder what
our answer to other people is. Are we sure in our heart that Jesus is the Lord,
the Son of God, or do we wonder and do not know who He really is. My prayer is
that you know above and beyond any doubt that He is your Lord, Jesus Christ, the
Son of God.

Improving
the Ministry God Gave You
“According as His divine power hath given unto us all things (the keys) that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called
us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises” (2 Peter 1:3-4). In His Word, God gives us the “keys of the
kingdom or heaven” (Matthew 16:19). I want you to notice that Jesus never told
us He would give us the “key”, but the “keys” to the kingdom. A mistake
that we often make is to assume that one key, or one monumental revelation, will
radically change our whole life and set us on the fast track of a powerful
ministry and successful living forever. In reality, there are a handful of
significant keys of understanding and wisdom which are revealed to us as we
study, meditate, and act on the Word of God. Some of these are the Grace of God,
our right standing before God, Renewing our minds to line up with the Word of
God, the authority of the believer, and other important subjects, like your
calling and separation. It’s time to open your heart and pull out your key
ring. You are going to be given a key from God’s Word to help you fulfill your
ministry. It is a key that will surely change your thinking about ministry and
redirect your life. Instead of seeing God from your perspective, you will see
yourself from His; by the mirror of His Word. You can know what He is expecting
from your life and begin to fulfill His will today. Why” because you are
“His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath
before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10). Remember that
“wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of
salvation” (Isa. 3:6).
So get into the Word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to be your teacher and
guide, leading you into all truth and showing you things to come. Then act on
what He is showing you and you will become a Superman for Him in these last
days. The more Word you have in you, the more God will use you.

Bearing Love Fruit
The Vine does not bear fruit. It is the branches which bears it. Our recreated human spirits are the branches. "But the fruit is (notice it is singular, it is a blend of all mixed as one and operated by Love), Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, faith, meekness, self-control; against such there is no law." We will never have just two or three of these. They are all there in the Spirit realm! It helped me greatly when I saw that Love is not the fruit of the human mind, but of the human spirit. If I got my mind renewed, then the fruit flowed in Love just as God planned because they are His Nature and I had received that Nature in me. I now have God's Nature Living in me! Romans 5:5 says, "Because the Love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us." The word "heart," is used synonymously with the word "spirit." The Holy Spirit has shed abroad the Father's Nature in our spirits. Now we bear the fruitage of Love. "Faith without Love is dead" also. Faith also is the fruit of the recreated human spirit. Faith and Love are not the fruits of the recreated human intellects or reasoning faculties. Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. His Nature is imparted to our spirits and it is His Faith. How it thrilled me when I discovered that all the things which the natural man craves are ours in Christ. Man has craved faith. God is a Faith God. Jesus is the Faith Christ. We have Their Nature, so we have Their faith in us; and as we act on the Word in our heart, we see its fruits. Jesus told the Jews that they must have faith for their healing and for other things they craved. All those things belong to us; they are in our legal Redemption. The Lord never tells us in any of the Epistles, "You must believe to get your healing; you must believe in order to get money; you must believe in order to get strength." These are all ours in the New Creation. All we have to do, is speak the Word in our heart, calling those things that be not as "IF" they were. We don't confess to get, we get because we confess we already have it. Its like giving; we don't give to get because we give, we get because we give! Its automatic because God's Word says so! These are all ours in the New Creation. We can and should have all His life flowing in us and through us. Why not walk in it today?
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Biblical
Hope
One of the best verses in the Bible that defines hope for me is Romans 8:28;
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to
those who are called according to His purpose.” What a powerful declaration
Paul makes in this verse! God is working all things together for our good. That
is the perfect definition of New Testament hope. Or, how about what we call the
Bible? The Good News! Hope!! There are two qualifications to God working all
things for good in this verse. (1) You must love God, (2) you must be called
according to His purpose. If these two requirements are fulfilled in your life,
you can be sure that God is very busy causing everything to work together for
good for you. Ask yourself, “Do I really love God? Am I doing what God called
me to do?” God has a purpose for every person. Everything that comes to pass
in your life is for the fulfillment of that purpose. If you are not walking in
the purpose for which God has called you, then stop, repent, turn around, and
get on the right track. If you do that, you are guaranteed that God is busy
working all things together for your good. He takes the bad and turns it in to
good every time. God is working on your behalf!. This verse of Scripture dose
not allows pessimism at all. This Scripture gives you a foundation for total,
never-failing optimism. You cannot read and believe Romans 8:28 and be
pessimistic or downcast. Hope is full of optimism, joy, and confident
expectation. Remember, hope is a confident expectation of the goodness of God.
We are totally sure that God will do what He said He would do! There are some
wonderful verses in Scripture that reinforce this concept. One of them is found
in Psalm 23:6. David says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” I love
that verse!! Goodness and mercy are following my life. Goodness and mercy are
following your life, not just when we get to heaven, but every single day of our
lives. Not only, it says, “we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
What more could one ask for! When I preach on this Psalm I like to tell
everyone, there are two angels that follow me everywhere I go. One is called
Goodness, the other is called Mercy. Because I know they attend my footsteps, I
dare to believe I can do what God has called me to do. They are protecting me!
They are watching over me! I have a confident expectation of the goodness and
mercy of God. And no matter what comes my way, He will turn it around for my
good!

Discernment Needed For The Last Days
The Bible tells us that there is the gift of discernment; one of the nine gifts someone receives when they have been baptized in the Holy Ghost or Spirit, and then there is discernment that comes by living in the Word, or eating strong meat. Baby's and those who do not eat the meat of the Word; do not have this discernment! Because of what is happening today, we need one of these operating in our lives. If we are filled or baptized in the Holy Spirit, we can seek this gift from God, but not everyone operates in this gift; or we can get into God's Word and mature to the place we can eat the meat of the Word and it will come because we are living in the Word. Psalm 11:3 says, "If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
Satan is trying to destroy the foundation of the Word like never before. In the last 20 years we have seen more of this happening than in the 1989 years before. Churches that once were on fire with the Word have entered into the falling-away spoken of in God's Word. Churches we would of never believed could be effected have gone the wrong way and most Christians do not even know it. They have been swept into the falling away without even noticing it because they do not study their Bibles, they just believe whatever is taught them or what ever their church believes. This is where we are right now!
In the challenging days ahead, thousands of enticing voices are going to fight for your mind, possessions, and heart. They are going to say, "This is the way, walk ye in it." What doors will you choose to enter? Will they be doors opened by God or will the wicked one, carefully camouflaged and going about as an angel of light, enticing you to enter doors that lead to dangers and traps of destruction? If there is one gift or one teaching we need amidst the coming confusion, it will be the gift of spiritual discernment. Blessing always flows from the top down. In the Old Testament, the king blessed his subjects, the priests blessed the worshippers, the father blessed the son. And if I my say so, today the godly pastor will bless the flock entrusted to his care. His preeminent responsibility is the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. He is to enter the pulpit with a heart broken because of the great needs of his people, and aflame because he has been given, through faithful study of God's Word, the truth they desperately need to hear.

Stay Cool in a Crisis [I Samuel 25:2-35]
In life it can be difficult to keep calm in a Crisis, it can also be difficult when the temperature around us is rising, but, there's always a but, and God wants us to keep Calm in the Crisis. If we cannot remain calm, we do not think as we should and do foolish things. We need to trust God with all our heart and when we do, we can remain calm in any and all crisis. Here are three things to remember about crisis:
1: Life's Challenges Should Bring out the Best in Us. The devil means things for bad, but God has promised to turn it around for our good. So no matter what the devil or his demons are trying to do, we have God's Word that He will turn it around and bring good out of it.
2: We Don't Need an Important Title to Carry out a Significant Role. David tended sheep for his father and yet God used him in a big way and made him King over all of Israel. God sees our hearts and He knows what we will do and become, therefore He can use us and change us to be all He said we could be.
3: In Life we have Certain Responsibilities that Present Worthwhile Challenges. When we are faithful in the little things, like cleaning our bedrooms and making the bed, God will promote us to bigger abd better jobs and ministries. We prove ourselves faithful, trustworthy and dependable and God will use us every time.
Whatever we do we must Conduct Ourselves in a Manner Worthy of the Gospel and God. God watches over us to perform His Word. Therefore, as we do what He asks of us, He sees our faithfulness and promotions come because of it. God is a rewarder of those who are faithful.

A Mule and A Man
There is the familiar story in the Book of Numbers about Baalam and his donkey. It seems like God wanted the prophet to do what was right and the prophet want to do what was wrong. It is a two point message divided in the following way and one we need to remember so that we always walk in and do the perfect will of God. Maybe we should ask ourselves these questions.
Here we can this focus on Balaam’s stubbornness. Do you know what the Bible
says about stubbornness? Do you know how to know when you are being stubborn?
Why do we choose to be stubborn? The consequences of stubbornness. Baalam was
destroyed and went to hell.
2.
A Man Headed Mule
This point will allow you to talk to yourself about the patience, love, and
power of God and the lengths He goes to in order to get us to stop when we
should stop and moving in the direction we need to go. God can reveal Himself in
a variety of ways. His goal is to get through to us with His message; and to
make us like Jesus.
As you think on these questions and ask them to yourself, I know God will speak to you and help you put-away those things that need to be put-away; and to pick-up those things that need to be picked up. I trust this will help you in your walk with Jesus. I want you to be all God wants you to be and the only thing we should ever be stubborn about is the Word of God. We should never compromise concerning God’s Word.

Sow God's Word
The seed in the parable is the Word of the God. What is the Word of the God? It’s the message that Jesus has been teaching and preaching and proclaiming all during his ministry. “The Kingdom of heaven is at hand,” he has said, and used many stories and analogies to describe the Kingdom. So, in that way, Jesus has been the sower in the parable, but so are we when we speak God's Word. We need to speak or confess the promises we find in God’s Word. This will bring to us the answers we desire. This good news that Jesus has broken the barrier that separates us from God and has ushered God’s Kingdom into the world – this good news is the Word of the Kingdom, which Jesus taught in parables and accomplished by his actions. And this is ALSO the good news that WE proclaim.
So what happens to the seed that is so liberally and indiscriminately sown? It generates varied responses among the hearers, and different things take place. Promises come into our lives and our lives are filled to overflowing with the harvest we have sown the seed for. Are you sowing seed? If not, find a promise in God’s Word you desire and start confessing it and thanking God for it until it comes to pass. Then sow another seed and so on until you are all God says that you should be.

The Greek word translated as moderation in the King James Version does not mean moderation in today's English. In the Amplified Bible, that word is translated "unselfishness." It also could be translated "considerateness." Both those words are a far cry from that we think of today when we hear the word moderation. In James 5:16 we read that "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man, availeth much." "The red hot prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much" is another way of expressing James' moderate pray-er. You are not supposed to be mediocre and moderate pray-er. You are suppose to pray fervent prayers. When you pray, tear down the strongholds of the devil. Raze hell with the devil's kingdom! Tear it down and destroy it! In Romans 12:11, Paul wrote, "Be not slothful in business; fervent in spirit, serving the Lord!" This means to be "white hot," which is hotter that red hot. The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write to Christians to be fervent, white-hot, and totally committed in the service of the Lord. We need to get out of mediocrity, to move out of moderate living, to go all out for the Lord. We need to believe the Word, act like God, talk like God, and think like God. We need to go all the way all the time, no matter what the situation or circumstances. If you do that, you will find the power of God ready to flow right out of your life and bring results every time. God has equipped to be the overcomers, but when we are lukewarm we cannot fulfill what God wants us to do. If we tried to boil a eeg in lukewarm water it would take us a very long time and maybe the center still would not be done. But in bowling, red hot water, in 3 minutes it is finished. The glorious fact of our identification with Christ is one of the richest facts in the whole Plan of redemption. We were crucified with Christ; we were nailed to the Cross with Him, in the mind of God. As He was stripped naked and hung there in His shame and disgrace, so we also were stripped naked and hung there, for He took our place on the Cross. We died with Christ, as He died. As He died to sin, so we died to sin. As he died to Satan’s rule, so we died to it. As He died to sickness and disease, we died. We were buried together with Him as He went down into the place of suffering and paid the penalty of our sins and union with Satan. As he put off from Himself the forces of darkness and sin, the sickness and diseases of man, so we put them off in Him, we left them there. We were raised together with Christ. He was raised up by the glory of the Father, when He had satisfied the claims of Justice, and had met out great enemy Satan and His army in the dark regions of hell and conquered them. He then was made alive in spirit, and justified in spirit. Then He rose; and we rose with Him, and He could not be held any longer, by death and hell. When He was justified, we were justified in Him. When He was healed of death, we were healed in Him. When He conquered sickness and disease, so also did we, in Him. To all who are in Christ, disease is a conquered foe. Poverty is a conquered foe. Defeat is a conquered foe. We are the overcomers! We are seated with Christ at the Right Hand of God, in the highest place of power in the Universe. We are identified with Him in suffering and shame, and in His glory. That’s who we are in Him! When we know these truths in our heart and not our minds, we will rise up and walk just like Jesus walked when He was walking here on earth. There will not be one battle we will lose! Satan will tremble, run in fear everything we wake up and get out of bed. He will say, “Oh no! He’s up again!” We are all He says we are and much, much more! We can do all He said we can and much, much more! So why not rise up and walk like the child God made you to be! Jesus did it all for you, now all you need to do is believe it and act on it and confess who you are in Him.

What is Faith?
A friend once asked me what faith really was and how to walk in faith. Hear is what I told them. “Jesus came as a Revelation Truth. He is the only one who ever made men become honest, even when telling the truth meant that they would be burned at the stake. Here is the foundation of this Faith. You come to know Jesus through the Word. He introduces you to the Father. Then you begin to act on the Word, to test it out, as it were. After a bit you will find that acting on what Jesus said, or the Father said, becomes as natural as acting on the word of the man for whom you are working.” They said after careful thought, "Thank you, I believe I have learned something I have never seen before." There is but one foundation for Faith, the Living Word. As we become one with the Word in our actions, then faith becomes an unconscious reality. You never think of your Faith, you only think of the need and His ability to meet it.. If you desire your faith to grow and become robust and strong, soak in the Word, feed on the Word, meditate on the Word, until you become one with it in the sense that you are one with your business. Find out what you are in Christ, what your privileges are, what He thinks of you, what he says of you, what He tells you to do. You will find all this in the Word. Faith is giving substance to things hoped for. Faith is grasping the unrealities of hope and bringing them into the realm of reality. Faith grows out of the Word of God. It is the warranty deed that the thing for which you have fondly hoped for is at last yours. It is the evidence of things not seen. You hope for finances to meet that obligation; faith gives assurance that you will have the money when you need it. You hope for physical strength to do the work you know you must do. Faith says, "God is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" “My God shall supply all you needs according to His riches in heaven” You have His Word on that! “By His stripes you are healed.” So when the enemy tries to hit you with sickness, remind him that Jesus already paid the price and that he is a defeated foe, so leave and take your sickness with you in Jesus’ Name. That is faith in action! Speaking what God has said in His Word!

God Always Brings Victory
Someone gave me a Birthday card and I'll never forget the message it gave me:
Count your garden by the flowers
never by the leaves that fall
count your days by golden hours
Don't remember clouds at all
Count your nights by stars, not shadows
Count your life with smiles, not ears
and with joy on every birthday,
count your age by friends, not years.
The good news is the bad news can be turned into good news when you change your attitude. God will turn everything around into good! That's His promise! God offers real comfort. Not neurotic pity. Not a sympathy that only weakens the hurting person. He offers a tough love that turns us into sweeter and stronger people of God. Overcomers that walk in the face of trouble and laugh at it because they know God is on their side and just who can stop God? Remember these short messages and walk in victory everyday of you life as God will always bring you the victory.
God gives us a sense of courage
God gives us a sense of calm
God gives us companionship
God give us compassion
God never gives us a new set of commandments
God gives us life and that more abundantly
God is on our side and he turns the bad ,the devil sends to us, around and brings victories out of it. When we see and know this, instead of looking for bad things, we start looking for the good God is bringing. In His Word He says that daily He loads us down with blessings. Are we looking for them? Do we find them? Are we enjoying them? Those are the questions we should be answering. Remember that God loves us. He is not sending bad things our way. The devil does that. God is the one who turns them around and gives us the victory. Let’s look for the victories and not the bad things. The world is full of bad things, but we are not of this world, therefore, our world is filled with good things. Let’s find them!

Be
Red Hot for Jesus
Any time you are red hot for God and go around proclaiming that Jesus is King, it will turn your part of the world upside down and trouble the people and the rulers. Young converts usually operate this way. They are what "settled" Christians consider "wild - zeal filled".. They will call up their friends and say: "Glory to God! Want to hear me talk in tongues? That is what you need brother. Come on over here, I have a new language I want you to hear. I also want to pray for you and your family. I want to introduce you to Jesus my Lord now." But the "settled" Christians usually tell them to slow down a little, as they are not suppose to show their pearls before swine." So after they have been saved for a while, they become "wiser and proper." In other words, we start becoming lukewarm and dead. God wants us on fire! John the Baptist said that Jesus would baptize us with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matt. 3:11). Most Christians sad to say, are like dead charcoal, no life fire. When I learned to ride a bicycle, I was taught that you cannot steer it until it starts moving. Once you take off on that bicycle and are rolling down the road, you can steer in a certain direction and that is the way it will carry you. That is the way Bible operates. One time he was in Antioch with some other believers, and they were praying, fasting, and seeking God when the Holy Spirit spoke to them to lay hands on him and Barnabas for the mission field. While the two men were on a route to a certain place, the Holy Spirit spoke and said, "No, do not go that way!" Then they started for Asia, and the Holy Spirit again steered them by saying, "No, not that way either." After a night's sleep, the Holy Spirit gave them a vision to go to Macedonia. Paul and Barnabas had their bikes rolling so that the Holy Spirit could steer them. The problem with the Church is that many Christians are sitting back waiting, instead of getting in motion. They are saying, "Lord, what do You want us to do? What is Your will, Lord? We are just seeking You, Lord." But they are not doing anything. They are being moderate and not moving. Being lukewarm is depressing. It is a miserable lifestyle. Being moderate is being average. It is a sad place to be, and that is why a lot of people fight depression, worry, fear and bad feelings. That is why they cannot feel good about themselves. They are lukewarm. Of course, if you’re red hot and moving, you will feel good about all the things you are doing right and be able to straighten out the things you did wrong. God will be able to use you and you will see miracles, signs, and wonders taking place in your life. So be red hot for Jesus!

THE
FOUR LEVELS OF GOD’S PROVISION.
There are four levels that Christians live in. God desires for us to life live
in the last two. What we need to do is find out just where we are living, get
into God’s Word and make up our mind and heart that we are going to live in
the realm that God said we could live. We can do it because God said we could.
Tithing is a main key to receiving. The more you give, the more God will return
to you. When I was very young, I started with 25 cents a week. Then a dollar a
week, and Now over 100 every week and God’s blessing are flowing in and every
need is met. We have extra even though times are ruff in the World, we are not
of the world and God’s blessing over take us and bless us because we have
place Him first. You can never out give God. He said that He would give back to
us with the same measure we gave to Him, pressed down, shaken together and
running over. That is His promise to us. Here are the Four Levels:
Level 1. Egypt Living. Broke all the time and cannot pay bills. No extras
because we do not have it.
Level 2. Wilderness Living. Lives day-to-day, paycheck-to-paycheck. Bills are
barely getting paid and important needs are barely being met. Little or no money
left over at end of month.
Level 3. Promised Land. Philippians 4:19 All bills are paid and all needs are
met. Finances are increasing. We do have some left over at the end of the month.
Level 4. Lives in Abundance. John 10:10 Has much more than enough. Is a major
blessing to other people. Writes huge checks. Has favor with God and with Man.
Living like God’s Word says we can live and growing week by week.
As you can see, there is a big difference in these four levels. What we forget
usually is our return is not dependent upon the worldly system, but upon our
God. Regardless of what happens in this world, our blessings do not change or
stop. They just keep coming. If you are not there, try doing it God’s way and
watch the change take place and the blessings come. Whatever we sow, continues
to grow as it comes back. It is not just a one time thing, it keeps growing and
growing. When they say we cannot out give God, how true that is! We know, for it
is happening in our lives.
Remember that I am here to help you! If you need any help whatsoever, please just come to the chat site and ask me. Or, you can write me with the addresses on this web page and I will answer you. It’s Time to Get Plugged Into The
Power Source
Have
you ever wondered just how far faithfulness will take you? Many show up on their
jobs
everyday, not always seeing or knowing what their faithfulness is creating for
their future. They go to church each week, sometimes not even thinking or
realizing the character,
power,
and stability that their faithful actions are producing; not only in their
lives, but also in lives throughout the world. I bet you have never realized
that your faithfulness
to
your local church touches lives throughout the world! Well it does, and as we
study these notes together, you will understand why. In fact, your total
understanding of faithfulness will
tells
a story that fits so well here: “Some years back, I bought an electric razor
to use when I was overseas as their electrical power is much different than
ours. We cannot use of electric razors there.
Although
it was designed to work with their electrical power, it was of no use if it was
not plugged in to their source of power. Regardless of how much I paid for it,
no matter how well designed or how well-crafted
it
was, no matter how much I enjoyed it, if I did not plug into their source of
power, it was useless. I cannot
use
it here in America, but I can there.” Many Christians today can be compared to
that electric razor. God designed them with gifts, talents, and abilities, but
because they are not plugged into the right power source, they sit on the shelf
never doing what God designed them to do. Or, they are plugged into the wrong
source of power and destroy all God wants to do for them. Like electricity, the
Holy Spirit is the conduit to the power of God. Just like electricity flows
through wires to bring life to appliances, the Holy Spirit is always flowing,
waiting to bring life to anyone who will plug in. The local church is the outlet
the Holy Spirit uses to train and equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
Other outlets either do little or are the wrong power. God has chosen to place
leadership over us to prepare us to fulfill His calling in our lives. However,
it doesn’t matter how much the Holy Spirit is flowing, or how great and
anointed the outlet (church) is, like electricity through wires, nothing happens
until we plug into it. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as

That Wonderful Name of Jesus
Mark 16:17-18 as an illustration of this: "And these signs shall accompany them that believe; in My Name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." A literal rendering of that is "the believing ones" shall in My Name do these things. It is taken for granted that only believers have the "Right" to the use of the Name of Jesus, the "Right" to use His Name is a conferred blessing to the Church; it is a "Right" that belongs to every child of God regardless of who they are. We have a four-fold right to use the Name of Jesus. (1) First, we are born into the family of God and the Name belongs to that Family. (2) Second, we are baptized into the Name, and being baptized into the Name, we are baptized into Christ Himself. (3) Third, it was conferred upon us by Jesus who gave us the Power of Attorney. (4) Fourth, we are commissioned as Ambassadors to go and preach this Name among all the nations. Then if this authority is conferred upon us we act as representatives for Christ. We do this (1) first, on the ground of our birthright;(2) second, on the ground of having been baptized into this Name; and (3) third, that the legal right of using this Name has been conferred upon us. (4) Last, on the ground that we have been sent out as ambassadors to preach or herald this name among the nations. I cannot see where we need to have any special Faith to use the Name of Jesus, because it is legally ours. When we know and understand these Facts, we arm ourselves with that Name and go forth to do all God’s Word tells us we can do. There is no other name given unto man, that can do what the name of Jesus can and will do, when used as He said we could use it. This is the right of every believer! Sickness has to flee. Poverty has to flee. Lack has to flee. Troubles have to flee. The Lord is our shepherd and we do not lack! He is always there for us and when we call upon His Name, He comes on to fight our battles for us. If God (Jesus) be for us, who can stand against us? No one!

Creation Gives a Compelling Witness to God
Both Old and New Testaments point out that the universe itself is a wordless message about God which anyone, whatever his language, can hear. If we study our Bible, we can see God from Genesis to Revelation The picture is very clear. Even without the Bible, God can be seen.
Psalms 19:1-4 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. 4Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, Paul made the same point in the first chapter of Romans, but also saw creation as evidence to be used against those who do not believe.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. Further proof of this is found in Acts when Paul comes into Athens and preaches from Mars Hill. They obviously new about the Unknown God.
Acts 17:23 "for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: creation is such compelling proof of God's existence, and such a clear reflection of His character, that any explanation of beginnings which rules God out serves only to underline human perversity. Creation like every other aspect of our faith is something that must be accepted by faith.
Ecclesiastes10:12-13 A fool’s speech brings him to ruin. Since he begins with a foolish premise, his conclusion is sheer madness From what we have seen, God can be found by anyone who really desires to find Him. He is not hiding somewhere Every thing He has done is clear and visible to the eyes of Humans. This is why missionaries have found that the heathen nations have some knowledge about God. It may be true or it may be false, but it is there. Once they’ve been told about the True God, they normally receive Jesus Christ as their Lord. God wants us to find Him and serve Him with all our heart, soul and mind. He wants us to trust Him and know He will always be there for us. When we know these things we find it so much easier to help others find God and the Love He has for them.

Walking On The Circumstance
And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus" (Matt. 14:29).
A person who believes in himself is not going to let anything keep him from receiving God's best. He is going to take risks and do whatever is necessary to receive the best from the Lord. Many Christians are sitting in churches that are not offering God's best. They know the Word is not being fully taught. They know that the Holy Spirit is not allowed to manifest Himself, but they do not want to leave. Why?...."Our friends all go here and our families have always gone here. Why, we had all our children dedicated right up there at the altar." The devil has them snared and they do not even know it. They see the wrong but excuse it because deep inside they are afraid of the circumstances; and because the Word is not in their heart. They will not move out of that comfortable security zone and say, "Praise the Lord, I am going to step out on the water." Peter walked on the water, while the other disciples played it safe and looked for positions in the so-called safety of the boat. He began walking before he sank, but he had the testimony of walking on the water. After it was all over, all the others could do was talk about what Peter had achieved by faith. He actually walked on water for a few steps because he believed in Jesus and His Word. You have to believe in Jesus and in yourself to be able to climb out of the boat. If you begin to sink, you still have to believe in yourself, You have to know in your heart that you can reach out, grab Jesus by the hand, and say, "Let's keep on walking Lord!" You have to believe in who you are in Him !! His Word has to become the only truth you believe and act on. It may be strange to you, but if it is His Word, it will work and you will be the victor!

A Living Fact
When Jesus was crucified, He took my place as a sinner. He bore my sins in His body on the tree; He bore my shame that came through my union with Satan; He bore my diseases that Satan had put upon me; He bore my judgment which was mine, because of my union with God’s enemy. When he died, He carried all this off into the land of Forgetfulness and He rose because he had put all this away. He not only put my sins, my shame and my diseases away, but He put me away, the old man, me, the sinner. He put my sin nature away. He put my infirmities away along with my sin, sickness and diseases, so that now I stand with Him and in Him as free from them as He was free when he rose. I am a New Creation! His justification is my justification; His righteousness is my righteousness; His health is my health; His freedom from Satan’s dominion is my freedom; His freedom from condemnation, is my freedom from condemnation; His freedom from infirmities is my freedom from infirmities; for in Him I enjoy all that He did and all that He now is. All that He did, He did for me. I am now a New Creation, the old has passed away and I stand as if I have never sinned, never sold out, the righteousness of Christ Jesus. If He bore my sins, I do not need to bear them; if He bore my sin nature, I do not need to bear it; if He bore my infirmities, I do not need to carry them; if I do bear them, then He died for naught. So when I accept Him as my Savior. Confessed Him as my Lord, and was baptized into His name, I was baptized into His standing before the Father. I was baptized into His righteousness that He wrought; I was baptized into His justification; baptized into His health for the body, soul and spirit; I was baptized into the victory that he had won over Satan; I was baptized into to all He means to the Father, for He died representatively for me; and now, He reigns up there, representatively for me. As He is my representative up there now, I am His representative here in the earth. He has put me, and mine, and all the sin, that was in me, away, and He has given me all that was His; all that He did, all that He was, so that “as He is now, so am I in this world.” Isn't it time we became all He has made us to be?

Our Joint Inheritance
This grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unreachable riches of Christ” (Eph. 3:8)
The fullness of the expression of the Holy Spirit today is giving us a glimpse into what has been provided by the Father. We know that in the old Israel, from Abraham right down to Paul, God had a special relationship with His chosen people. But the Gentiles had no right to it, except by becoming a Jew Therefore, the Master said to the Syro-Phoenician woman, “Shall I take the bread of the children and give it to dogs?” (Mark 7:27). Did Jesus mean that the Gentiles were dogs? No! He meant that the whole race of the Gentiles knew that they were far below the standard and the order of those people who belonged to the royal stock of Israel. “But isn’t it possible for the dogs to have some crumbs? Was the woman’s next question (V.28). God has something much better than crumbs! He has made the Gentiles of the same body, the same heirs as His chosen people. He has put no difference between them and us, but He has included us in the promises for al who are forgiven and washed in His Blood. Paul spoke about it, knowing that “if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Gal. 3:29). God has so manifested His power that He has brought us into oneness, and we know we are sharing in the glory. We are sharing in the knowledge that we belong to the God of the universal church of Almighty. It is wonderful to know that I am in the body. It is wonderful to know that the apostles and prophets and all those who have passed down the years, holding aloft the torch, going on from victory to victory, all will be in the body. But how wonderful if we may be in the body so that we might be chosen out of the body to be the bride! It will be according as you are yielded to the “effective working of His power” (Eph. 3:7). So, regardless of what you think, or anyone else thinks, you are a heir of God and a joint heir of Jesus Christ.

Energized by the Spirit
“When
they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and
they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with
boldness” (Acts 4:31).
It
is a necessity for every one of us to be filled with God and His Holy Spirit. It
is not sufficient to have just a touch or to be filled with just a desire. Only
one thing will meet the needs of the people, and that is for you to be immersed
in the Life of God. This means that God takes you and fills you with His Spirit
until you live right in God. He does this so that “whether you eat or drink,
or whatever you do, it may be all to the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31). In that
place you will find all your strength and all your mind and all your soul are
filled with a zeal, not only for worship, but also for proclamation. This
proclamation is accomplished by all the power of God, which must move satanic
power and disturb the world. The reason the world is not seeing Jesus is that
Christians people are not filled with Jesus. They are satisfied with attending
meetings weekly, reading the Bible occasionally, and praying sometimes. Beloved,
if God lays hold of you by the Spirit, you will find that there is an end of
everything and a beginning in God. Your whole body will become seasoned with a
divine likeness of God. He will not only begin to use you, but also take you in
hand, so that you might be a “vessel for honor” (2 Tim 2:21). Our lives are
not to be lived for ourselves, for if we live for ourselves we will die (Rom.
8:13’ but if “by the Spirit we put to death the deeds of the body, we will
live” (v. 13). He who lives in the Spirit is subject to the powers of God, but
he who lives for himself will die. The man or woman who lives in the Spirit
lives a life of freedom, joy, blessings, and service, a life that brings
blessings to others. God wants us to see that we must live in the Spirit. If we
live in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. If we live in the
Spirit, we will walk, talk and act just like Jesus did when we walked on the
earth. When we flow in the Holy Spirit, we become all God said we would ever be!

Just Believe
If you can believe, all things are possible to him the believes
Mark 9:23
It hurts when I see so called believers filled with so much unbelief in them. Suppose that all the people in the world did not believe; that would make no difference to God's Word; it would be the same; it would not change; it would remain the same throughout eternity. God's Word never changes regardless of what people believe or do not believe. It will work with us or without us. God has sent it forth and it will not return void. If we believe God's Word it will do all It says it will do. By standing on God's Word, we become does and His Word always comes to pass. By that I mean that we receive our answers, our promises, and walk in the joy, power, and ability of God. People are changed, the sick are healed, we have miracles, our lives are bless, and on and on the list goes. When we believe and speak God's Word, we become like Jesus, for He always said and did what the Father said. We take our place as heirs to the very Throne of God. We become the overcomers! All we have to do to have all of this is "just believe." God has made it so easy it is almost hard to believe. That's where have our problems. It looks to good to be true! But it is true! God's Word is true. Everyone who has dared to stand on it, trust it, and speak it out of their mouths has found that it is true and always comes to pass. Some things take longer to come to pass then others, but if we remain standing on them, unmovable, standing fast, we will receive the answers. We will have whatever we ask the Father in Jesus' Name. We all want to drive a car or graduate from High School, but we have to wait until the right time and then we can do all that. That is like God's Word in a sense. God has a perfect timing and at times we have to wait a little while, but God's timing always comes and we always get what we have believed for. Please just believe even if you do not fully understand, just believe God anyways, because as you do, you will receive what you have been believing for. A believer walks hand and hand with God and receives all the promises God has already given them and the are not only victors, they become the overcoming ones! Be a overcomer!

Where He Leads Me
There is a course we sing that goes like this:
"Where He may lead me, I will go
For I have learned to trust Him so
And I remember it was for me
that He was slain on Calvary"
Do we remember this and are we willing to totally trust Him and follow Him wherever He wants us to go? When our total trust is in God and we know His love for us, we can do whatever He asks and know that it will be far greater and filled with more joy then it may look from far off. God has a plan for us and in that plan is everything we have ever wanted and much, much more. We could not plan a plan like the plan God has planned. When we look at the beautiful things God created in the universe, we can quickly see that His plans for our life have to be as beautiful as theses and far more; because He also gave us Jesus and all that came with Him. Have you ever tried to dream a dream of all that God wants to do for you because He loves you so? It better than an Christmas, birthday or vacation or party we could dream up. All this is not just for this life here on earth, we have Eternity on top of that. This life is so wonderful, that to even dream of a far better life is far more than we can at this moment dream. And the work He has for us in heaven is far greater than any we would ever have on earth. No pain, no sickness, no hurts, no death, no lack and on and on the list goes. Perfect weather every day, never hot or cold, just perfect. No spoiled plans, no lost friends or family. Wow! Why? Because God loves us so much. It almost so great it hard to believe it is all ours. When we think on this wise, we can easily put all our trust into the One who loves us so much. Before he ever put man on earth, He made sure we had all this beauty all around us. Just think, how much more beautiful it would be without Satan and his influence. That is what Heaven will be like. Plus, when we totally trust God, He gives us a very good taste of heaven here on earth. I trust Him with all my heart and I am more than willing to follow Him because I know His love for me. Why not you too!

The Living Word
This week we will see the importance of the Living Word. Luke 4:4 says, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." Looking at Luke 8:5-15 we see some wonderful Truths from the Living Word. If find that God's Word is:
Supernatural in origin.
Eternal in duration.
Inexpressible in valor.
Infinite in scope.
Regenerative in power.
Infallible in authority
Universal in application.
Inspired in totality.
We Should:
Read it through
Write it down.
Pray about it.
Work it out.
Pass it on.
The Word of God changes a person until he or she becomes an epistle of God (2 Cor. 3:3). The Word transforms the mind, changes the character, and gives us an inheritance in the Spirit, until we are conformed, God coming in, dwelling in us, walking and talking through us. There is no God like our God.
God is love; "He who abides in love abides in God." (1 John 4:16). God wants to take ordinary men ands women and bring them into extraordinary conditions. God has room for the thirsty man or woman who is crying out for more of Himself. It is not what we are, but it is who God wants us to be. Beloved, let us rededicate ourselves afresh to God. Remember, God has promised to fulfill, fill full, the desires of those who love and fear Him.

Equipped With Power
Acts 6:1-10
During the time of the inauguration of the church, the disciples were pressured by many responsibilities. The practical things of life could not be attended to, and many were complaining concerning the neglect of their widows. Therefore, the disciples decided to choose seven men to do the work of caring for the needs of these widows; men who were "full of the Holy Spirit." What a Divine thought. No matter what kind of work was to be done, however menial it may have been, the person chosen had to be "full of the Holy Spirit." The plan of the church was that everything, even everyday routines must be sanctified of God, for the church had to be a Holy Spirit church. God has never ordained anything else. Even though we may be young, we need to be "full of the Holy Spirit" so God can use us. No matter how small the job may be, we need the power of God in order to do the job the way God would want us to do. If we are not yet "full of the Holy Spirit" we need to ask God to full us, so we can be all He wants us to be. From the Book of Acts we can see over and over the importance of being "full of the Holy Spirit". We receive wisdom, knowledge, Love, strength, power, and everything we need from the Holy Spirit who is our teacher and guide in this life. God always knows best and when we read things like this, we need to pay attention and carefully note what God has told us to do. When our life is empowered with the Holy Spirit we do not sin and the pressures of the world do not effect us because the Holy Spirit is leading us and making us overcomers. When we find a church where everyone is Spirit Filled and walking with God, we find a powerful supernatural church flowing in Love and power. Being "full of the Holy Spirit" helps us in our home life, school life, even in playing or talking with our friends. God can and will use us to meet the needs that are there and help others find Jesus and ask Him into their life so they can be saved. After they are saved, they too can be "filled with the Holy Spirit" so they can be every thing God wants them to be. What a wonderful life it is when we are "full of the Holy Spirit". Every thing goes so much better when we are walking in the Spirit. When we have to supernatural power of God to meet the challenges that face us everyday. If you are not "full of the Holy Spirit" why not do it right now? Just as Jesus to 'fill you with the Holy Spirit" and He will. Then your true Christian Life will really begin and things will change for the good! Plus the Holy Spirit will be your comforter, friend and guide teaching you all things and the things to come. Remember, we are all works called by God; therefore we all need to be "full of the Holy Spirit".

Scripture for the week:
1"And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
2Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
3Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
4But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
5And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
6Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
7And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
8And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
9Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
10And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake."

Having The Mind of Jesus
Paul tells us to “Cast down every imagination, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:5). Paul also tells us what things we should think on. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” When we look at these two different scripture verses, we quickly learn what we are to do with wrong thoughts, what wrong thoughts are, and what we should think on. Jesus in His earthly walk, only did and used the thoughts from His Father God. Bad or negative thoughts are like birds, you cannot keep them from flying around your head, but you can keep them from building a nest in your hair, or on you head. Just because someone speaks bad things around us, or we hear bad things, does not mean we have to receive them and think on them. We can replace them with the things from the Word of God. God tells us to cast them down! Even in school or out to play, there are those who do not know God or His Word and they do not always have good ideas or speak what God says we should speak; but we do not have to receive it. We can cast it down. Once we have cast it down, we should fill our mind (our thought life) with the Word of God; we need to meditate on God’s Word. God says, think on these things. When we do that, we sow good seed into the kingdom and our harvest is always good. When we allow the bad things to stay in our mind, it is not long and we begin to do them, and if we think on them, we receive the bad. But, if we cast them down and don’t think on them, but instead think on God’s Word, then we reap great things from God. I’ve noticed in public schools, the words and thoughts, that go around are not good at all; and it is not long before we see someone playing out the very things they have been saying or taught. It is so sad! The teachers do this, the office help does it, the school children do it. Whenever we find ourselves around people like this, we must cast down every word that does not line up with God’s Word. It is easy to think what God wants us to think when we are with those who love God, or when we are reading His Word, but we must learn to cast down whatever is not of Him when others are speaking wrongfully or when we are not alone. Many times the devil will send lying thoughts or imaginations our way, but we just cast them down as well. By doing this, we are filling our minds with God’s Word every moment of the day regardless where we are or what we may be doing. As we do that, God opens doors of blessings, doors of prosperity, doors of love and joy. We allow God to move on our behalf. Cast down anything that is not of God, and fill your mind with God’s Word and His promises and watch as the blessings of God over take you. When we learn to obey the Word of God and walk in the victory that He has already given to you, your whole life will change for "good" and "good" will come your way. If find that truly, God is a rewarder of them that do good and seek Him. He has promised us that all the things we need or desire will be added to us. That means we have the blessing!

My Trust is In God
Proverbs 3:5 Tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart. Notice it says with all our heart! If we trust only part way, we cannot receive all He has promised to do. We must be 100% loyal to God and trust Him with all we have or are. This is not something we do half hearted. It's whole heart in order for it to work. We are never to rely on what we think we know. Were living in a hour when we must depend more on God then at any time in human history. We are living in a hour when all deceit and lying is going around and we could have problems knowing what to believe, who to believe and who to trust if our heart is not committed 100% to God. The Bible clearly tells us, everyone else lies and God and God's Word is the only truth. Therefore, if we want truth, then we must put our whole heart in His hands and trust Him Why? Because, with God, we know He never lies! He never changes. He is always the same and He has all wisdom and knowledge, and He will always be there for us regardless of the circumstances. The Holy Spirit knows everything about tomorrow and He is our teacher and guide. Really, when we put all our trust in God, we become much wiser, more knowledgeable, more powerful, we are always aware of what is happening and we can walk in victory because we know what is going on and how to be the overcomers the Bible tells us about; how to live in that victory regardless of what the world does. Now that is powerful! While others many be walking around in doubt, fear and lack of peace, we can walk in full victory and have perfect peace and no fear. It is awesome! We know that Jesus has spoiled principalities and powers. In other words, the devil, demons and people who follow him are already defeated; and we are the only winners. Isn't it great knowing we have already won? Knowing that no sickness or diseases, lack or want can enter our bodies! That every weapon that is formed against, is already defeated and cannot hurt us!

A Mule and A Man
Here’s an unusual approach to the familiar story in the Book of Numbers about Baalam and his donkey. It is a two point message divided in the following way: I thought you would like this and at the same time understand what it was saying to you.
1. A Mule Headed Man
(Here you can focus on Balaam’s stubbornness. What the Bible says about
stubbornness. The most powerful very tells us it is worse than witchcraft. Now
we know how much God hates witchcraft, so we know we cannot be stubborn just to
get our way. This is not of God. How to know when we are being stubborn.
That is easy. We know what we should do and yet we do not want to do it, so we
refuse to do it even though we know we will be in trouble. We just don't care!
Now that is not the spirit of Jesus, but the spirit of the devil. Why we choose
to be stubborn. We chose to be that way because we want something regardless of
the cost. If we were to count the cost like the Bible tells us to do, we would
never do it. We would submit and walk in love. The consequences of
stubbornness, is very costly. It forms a bad habit when we get our way because
we keep doing it just to get our way. Soon we no longer hear from God and our
life has many problems we never had before. Some times we even need deliverance
to get rid of that spirit. It's bad all the way just like it was in the Bible.
It ended up destroying him because he would not change.
2. A Man Headed Mule
(This point will allow you to talk about the patience, love, and power of God
and the lengths He goes to in order to get us to stop when we should stop and
moving in the direction we need to go. God can reveal Himself in a variety of
ways. His goal is to get through to us with His message, and cause us to become
more like Jesus. We have more power, more peace, more joy and are far better all
because we followed God and did it His way instead of our way. If we remember
the price Jesus paid for us and that we are not our own, we will surrender
totally to Him, walk in love, know His way is always best. God loves us so much
He only wants the best for us. We do not always know what is best; but He does.
So by following Him and doing what He says, causes us to always have the best.

I Shall Not Want
What a proud, positive, bold statement to make! Obviously, this is the sentiment of a sheep utterly satisfied with its owner, (God) perfectly content with its lot in life. Since the Lord is my Shepherd, then I shall not want. Actually, the word "want" as used here, has a wider meaning than most people know. No doubt the main concept is that of not something wanted or needed; But a second emphasis is the idea of being utterly content in the Good Shepherd's care and therefore not craving or desiring anything more. This may seem to be a strange statement for a man like David to have made, if we think in terms only of physical or material needs. After all he had been hounded and stripped repeatedly by the forces of his enemy Saul as well as those of his own estranged son Absalom. He was obviously a man who had known intense need, deep personal poverty, acute hardship, and anguish of spirit. Therefore it is foolish to say on the reason of this statement that the child of God, the sheep in the Shepherd's care will never experience lack of need. It is needed to keep a balanced view of the true Christian life. To do this it is good to consider the careers of men like Elijah, John the Baptist, our Lord Jesus Christ, and even modern men of faith such as Livingstone, John Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, to realize that all of them experienced great personal hardship and difficulty. When He was among us, the Great Shepherd Himself warned His disciples before His departure for glory, that "In this world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." One of the misleadings that is common among Christians today is the assertion that if a man or woman is prospering materially it is a significant mark of the blessings of God upon their lives. Yet, the Good Shepard always brought them through in victory. He supplied all their needs, healed and made sure they had everything they had need of. When we really understand our Good Shepard and fully trust Him, we find He is always there when we need Him. It does not matter where we are, He is always there. Do you know Jesus as your Good Shepard? Do you understand that now that you have asked Him into your life and made Him Lord or the Good Shepard of your life; that He will always be there to help, protect, feed, cloth and direct you; and that you will always walk in victory? If not, now you know! Just put all your trust in Him and He will do the rest.

Meditate on the Word of God
Meditating on the Word of God is another way of saying, 'renewing your mind." It also means to "mutter the Word over and over," or keep your mind focused on the Word all the time."
First of all, to meditate on the Word of God means to not put a lot of ungodly things into your mind. Do not take counsel of the ungodly, the sinner, nor baby, immature Christians, nor stand around and idly talk with them. Do not spend time listening to those who are scornful of the things of God. The first Psalm deals with this very clearly and yet few follow the directions of it.
"Blessed is the man (or woman) that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But (talking about this man or woman now) his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night. (when that is done, what happens?) And he shall be like a tree panted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper" (Psalm 1: 1-3). We need to be aware of what is going on in our mind in order to keep God's Word first and to have a positive vision. In the first verse of Psalm 1, we are told what to put in our minds. In the second verse, we are told how to put it into our minds. In the third verse, we are told what will be the result if we put the right things into our minds. You see, first it goes into the mind and as we believe it, it is transfer to our heart or spiritman, and then it comes out of our mouth. The things that come out of our mouth is what is in our heart. That psalm advises you not to even think about anyone who is ungodly, or a sinner, or immature in the Lord, or scornful of the Lord. Yet most do just the opposite! Do not think about what they are saying or what they are doing. Stay away from that type of involvement, unless you are witnessing to them of the Lord or taking an opportunity to stand up for the things of God and for your faith, or trying to help them understand the Word of God. In that case, they should be listening to you and not you to them. Remember that God's Word tells us not to cast or pearls before swine, and that the mouth of a fool runs off, or just talks idle words, useless words, non helpful words, words of no use. Keep all the negative input from the world out of your mind. Christians need to guard what goes into their minds. Jesus said, "Take heed what you hear or pay attention what you are letting into your mind. When we do this, our mind is renewed and we become like Jesus in our walk, talk and actions. Let's be like Jesus!

Don't be a Copycat
Peer pressure is able to effect
an entire generation because people have grown up feeling badly about who they
are. They feel they are not "good enough," so they walk around trying
to do good and look like everyone else and do whatever they do, so they can feel
better about themselves. This way they fit in and are good enough to join the
“in-crowd.” But, being a copycat does not cause you to be yourself or to
have self-esteem, self-worth because it is not who you really are, but whatever
the peer pressure is at that moment. Peer pressure is always changing, going
along with the newest fads (or styles) of the world. Usually, peer pressure
comes from Hollywood, TV, Music, or other fads going on in the world. This is
the most hurtful thing a person can do. You are losing your self image. Losing
your vision of what God says you are! That vision of always trying to do
something so people will like you, can destroy a person's life. They dream they
are winning and think they are living the life they want. Yet, in all reality
they are losing all that they can really be; only to become a robot, a people
follower, a copycat, and never be an original. God creates originals not
copycats. God clearly tells us in His Word that He knows the plans He has for
our lives. They are plans of victory, of being someone special, or winning, of
reaching all of our goals. God created all of us different. It would be an awful
world if we all looked the same, dressed the same, drove the same kind of a car,
and lived in the same kind of a house with the same colors inside and out. And
if we all had the same kind of a dog or cat and all ate the same food. Where
would our choice be? If God wanted
us all to be the same, He would have created us all the same way, caused us all
to like the same things and want the same things in life. He would have created
this world in black and white instead of putting all of these nice colors in
their own special place.
Now as for the originals God has created in His likeness and image, they become all God desires for them to be. They are the head under God over their own lives, they are happier, filled with more joy, more creativity, live in the house they want, painted the colors they want and have the dog or cat they choose. They work where they want, live the life they want and are not moved by the copycats. As a matter of fact, the copycats try to copy them because they are not in control of their own lives. Some else is! God has a perfect plan for your life, so why be like every one else when you can be like Jesus? Yet, free to do the things you personally like and wear the colors you want, drive the car you want and eat the things you like. If God is for you, who can be against you? Don't let the peer pressures change you, you change then!

Scripture for the week: Psalm 139:14
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."
Grab Your Promises
There are many promises in the Bible and we need to make as many as we can our own. A promise is something given to us personally and something that that person will always keep. Here we are talking about God's promises and we know that God never lies, therefore He always keep His promises to us. Knowing this, we can be sure He will do what He said He would do. Two wonderful promises that have helped me more than ever during this, the Last Days. "The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden. like a spring whose waters never fail" (Isa. 58:11 NIV). And, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. The Living Translation says, They are plans for good and not for disaster". And the Message Bible says, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out; plans to take care of you, not abandon you. plans to give you the future you hope for" (Jeremiah 29:11). God has promised us in His Word, that He has great plans for each one of us. He has everything planned out, and He desires to take care of us. Having God's promise to always be there and take care of us is comforting to know and it causes us to feel safe and know we are protected by God Himself. The problem however, is that as humans, we desire to make our own plans rather than let God make them for us. God is standing by, ready and willing to direct our lives, but we must give Him permission to do that. How grieved our Heavenly Father must be sometimes when we are going down the wrong path, and He so desires to get us back on the right one. God's plan is like a slow-cooker rather then a microwave. The path that He desires for us may seem like the long way around. But that path molds us, softens us, and makes us what He desires us to be. If I place a roast in the microwave, let it quickly cook the meat is usually tough and hard to chew. However, if I place it in a slow-cooker and leave it in there most of the day, the results will be a flavorful, tender piece of meat. That's how it is with our lives. God takes us down a path that will cause us to be much more tender and flavorful; if only we will follow His plans than try to take a short-cut. When we see this and understand it, we quickly see that God's plans and promises for us, are for our good, for the best, and He never adds bad in it. The devil might, but God will only turn back around and make good out of it. Then we surrendered to His will, His plans and we walk in the promises He has for us. It makes our life so much more wonderful than our own plans which come without the promises of God.

Doubt Brings Excises
Doubt is a enemy of yours! So when you doubt yourself and feel
badly about yourself, the first and usual reaction is to find excuses for
yourself or to blame someone else. It is always easy to blame someone else. You
have to come up with rationalizations for why you do not do good in school or
the jobs you are given, or have self-confidence or a lead a disciplined life, Or
pray daily, or read your Bible more, or witness for the Lord or ever win one
soul to Jesus. The more time you spend excusing yourself, the harder you get.
That is why people can sit in churches for fifteen or twenty years where other
people are reading the Bible, praying, praising the Lord and praying in tongues,
and still remain spiritually dead while the others a running full speed in
victory and blessings. Believe in who you are, and you will be surprised how
rich, full and excited life will become. Do not make excuses and become a
hardened Christian so that you are old at twenty instead of fired up at seventy
and out running others in the Lord. You have to have enough confidence in
yourself to say and mean it, "Glory to God, I am starting to learn some
things. I am ready to live and be like God says I can." You have to be
determined to reach toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God
(Phil. 3:14). You have to have a high self-esteem to reach out for the very best
in life and get it because God told you it was yours. Have you ever thought
about. God's View of You? The first step to achieving true self-esteem, not in
the flesh but in the spirit, is to find out how God really sees you. Look at the
first chapter of Genesis: "And God said, let Us make man in Our image,
after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over fish of the sea, and over
the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His Own
image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them"
(Gen. 1:26-27). When we are born again, God crowns us with glory and honor
through the redemption of Jesus. Real Christians, those who are truly born again
and followers of Jesus, are worthy. Not in ourselves, but in the righteousness
of Jesus. Believing in oneself s a God-given quality from Christians. All human
beings have an innate need to be appreciated, to be felt of some value. This
need was placed in mankind by God and can only be truly satisfied through Him,
through becoming part of His plan. The problem is that all non-Christians, and
many Christians try to satisfy this desire for self-worth through the flesh,
through wordly accomplishments. If you listen to many people who have fame and
money, or if you look at their lives, it is easy to see that earthly affairs do
not bring a sense of self-worth. So, get into God's Word and find out who you
really are and then begin speaking, acting and believing you are what God says
you are!

Calling the Answers In
Most people when they pray or communicate with God, all they do is talk about their problems and they never call into being, the answers; they call in the problems instead. They have never learned or been taught to speak the answer; or come into agreement with God concerning the answer He has already provided for them. By speaking only the problems, they call them in without realizing what they are doing. Here is how to call in the answers! 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to "cast all our care upon Him; for He careth for you." He goes on to say, "I believed, and therefore have I spoken, we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Cor. 4:13). Then in Acts it says, "And when they had prayed (or talked to God), the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke the Word of God with boldness." When we pray or talk to God, speaking His Word, something happens to you and everything around you; that effects your life or the lives of those you are praying about. And because you are speaking God's Word, or we could say, standing in agreement with God and what He has said, things take place in the spiritual and the natural realm that otherwise would never happen. Things change and line up with the Word of God. (Acts 4:31). Jesus told us that if we could believe God's Word or the Bible, and speak it out of our mouth; because you believe it, the heart (faith) will cause the mouth to speak what you believe, then all things are possible to us who believe (Mark 9:23). Why? The Word of God tells us that our faith never rises above its confession, "for the fruit of your words you will be satisfied with good, or receive our answers. (Prov. 12:14 AMP). So how do we get our answers? By coming into agreement with God! When we are in agreement with God and believe in our hearts, we arm ourselves with God's Word and come boldly into the throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find the help from God in our time of need. (Heb. 4:16). Remember, faith (believing) opens the door to God's promises for you; but it is patience that keeps that door open until those promises are fulfilled. (Heb. 10:35,36). God's Word never goes out and returns void, but it always brings back the answer with it. When we know this, our prayer life changes to the place where we do not speak the problems any longer, but we speak the answers.

Does Christ Live In You?
The Bible clearly tells us, "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (v. 20). In the Greek. The phrase "I am crucified" reads, "I have been crucified". The Greek verb tense here indicates that this is a past work, which has already been completed. You and I are not in the state of being crucified, nor are we in a perpetual state of crucifixion. Like Christ, we were crucified once for all time the moment we identified ourselves with his crucifixion and were born again of the Spirit of God. We died on the cross with our Lord. We were buried with him in death. We were resurrected and were born again of the Spirit of God. We died on the cross with our Lord. We were buried with him in death. we were resurrected with him to newness of life. We ascended with him and now we are seated with Him in heavenly places. (Eph. 2:5-6). Aren't you glad that Jesus is not still on the cross? Neither are you and I. We have become brand new creatures: "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things have become new" (II Cor. 5:17). "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me (us) free from the law of sin and death" Romans 8:2). The expression (yet not I) is found in the original Greek version of Galatians 2:20. So this scripture could better be translated like this, "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me..." Paul is saying here that the law killed him. What happens when a person dies? When someone dies, he is not annihilated. Death is never annihilation. Physical death is the separation of the inward man from the outward man. The inward man, the real man goes on either to be with the Lord in heaven or to be with the Devil in hell - one of the two. The outward shell of the person remains here on the earth with nothing in it. That's what happened when you and I were born again. Our nature inside of us who used to belong to Satan, moved out, and the Spirit of Jesus Christ came to live in our physical body. Now that body didn't change any in our outward appearance. It wasn't the outward man that changed; it was the inward man who was born again. So it is not so much our "Old Spiritual Man" we have to contend with now that we are new creatures in Christ Jesus. It's the flesh that gives us so much trouble, and the evil one who is at large out there. But that is really no problem because greater is He that lives in us than he that lives in the world (I John 4:4). Therefore we can still overcome him by the blood of Jesus and the Word of our confession (Rev. 12:11). "...And the life which I now live after the new birth, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." This translation brings out better the twofold theme of the whole book of Galatians: Salvation by faith, spirituality by faith. Paul stresses the fact that he was dead, crucified with Christ, the resurrected - born again - by faith, and that the life he now lives - after that salvation experience - is also lived by faith. The life he lives in this fleshly body is not of the law, it's full of grace. Our salvation was a free gift from God. WE didn't deserve it; we couldn't earn it. All we did to receive it was accept it by faith. In the same way, our spiritual life after salvation is by grace, we can never deserve or earn it by our own efforts. It too is a gift of God received by faith. Some people think they move God by their faith. That's not so! God has already moved by His grace; all we do is accept by our faith what God has already done. I like to think of it this way. Grace is God reaching out toward us, and faith is us reaching out toward God, But God reaches out first, and we reach out second. Our faith does not cause God to move, His grace causes our faith to move. We were saved because God responded to our faith and saved us. Redemption has been completed ever since Jesus Christ rose from the grave. The work is finished. God's part is done. That was grace, now our part is accepting that which has already been done for us. That's faith! so faith does not move God into action. Faith is our action in response to God's, what God has already done. Grace always precedes faith. So now we must learn to allow Christ to live His life through us!
Scripture for the week: Galatians 2:20
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

I have put two lessons on this week because I was gone last week. Enjoy!
Walking In The Realm of God
In First Corinthians 1:9 we are told that "God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord." As we enter into the realm of true fellowship with God, our prayers have power that other's prayers don't have because because t they do not have that fellowship with God. We have the faith that fellowships with God, which alone produces this. But we can never have more faith than we have of true humility. Peter tells us to "humble your selves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you." (1 Peter 5:6). As we remain humble before God, honoring Him with our mouth and walk; giving Him all the glory, He exalts us and honors us and this allows His power to flow through us and touch others and bring answers from His kingdom into the area of the world to meet the needs that are there. God has told us in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that "it is by faith that we live, not by what we can actually see." Faith has nothing to do with what we see in the natural, it has to do with what we see in the Spiritual ream, or in His Word. The Bible tells us that earthly things are subject to change, but God's Word never changes. Therefore, we can call those things out of the spiritual realm into our realm and they have to change and line up with God's Word. God will turn them around for our good. So as we go to prayer before His throne, in His very presence, humbly seeking His face and His answers, He, Almighty God brings these things to pass. At times we forget that "with men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible" (Mark 10:27). Man usually sees only the impossible with his natural eyes, but with his spiritual eyes he sees as God sees. As we fellowship with God, we see that with Him it is not impossible. That it is possible with God. We believe what God has said and "all things become possible to us, because we believe." Some one once said, "the income of God's Word is the outcome of a changed life. Psalm 119: 130 tells us that. "The entrance of Thy Words giveth light, it gives understanding unto the simple." In other words, we see the truth in God's Word, it opens our eyes and we call those things as if they were and God brings them to pass, or brings us His answer. It changes our life! In fellowship with God, we grow in faith and faith is the active power of God which draws the thin line between success and failure. God will make you successful and you will not fail. Have true fellowship with God around His Word everyday and become the overcomer He has made you to be.
Keeping Your Eyes On The Answer
Why is it most people when they pray or communicate with God, all they do is talk about their problems. Problems, problems, problems. The devil did this, or the devil is doing that. Why aren't they praying the answer they want? Maybe they have never learned or have been taught to speak the answer; or come into agreement with God concerning the answer He has already provided for them. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to "cast all our care upon Him; for He careth for you." He goes on to say, "I believed, and therefore have I spoken, we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Cor. 4:13). Then in Acts it says, "And when they had prayed (or talked to God), the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke the Word of God with boldness." When we pray or talk to God, speaking His Word, something is happening to you and everything around you that effects your life or the lives of those you are praying about. And because you are speaking God's Word, or we could say, standing in agreement with God and what He has said, things take place in the natural realm that otherwise would never happen. (Acts 4:31). Jesus told us that if we could believe God's Word or the Bible, and speak it out of our mouth; because if you believe it, it is in your heart and the heart will cause the mouth to speak what you believe, then all things are possible to us who believe (Mark 9:23). Why? The Word of God tells us that our faith never rises above our confession, "for the fruit of your words you will be satisfied with good, or receive our answers. (Prov. 12:14 AMP). So how do we get our answers? By coming into agreement with God! When we are in agreement with God and believe in our hearts, we arm ourselves with God's Word and come boldly into the throne room of Grace, remind God of His Word, that we may obtain mercy, and find the help from God in our time of need. (Heb. 4:16). Remember, faith (believing) opens the door to God's promises for you; but it is patience that keeps that door open until those promises are fulfilled. (Heb. 10:35,36). Therefore, stand on God's Word until the answer fully comes. God's Word never goes out and returns void, but it always brings back the answer with it. When we know this, our prayer life changes to the place where we do not speak the problems any longer, but we speak the answers; and because we speak the answer, we receive those things God's Word says we have.

God Always Brings The Victory
Proverbs 3:5 Tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart. Notice it says "All our Heart", or "Spirit", the real us. This is the key to real victory! We are never to rely on what we think we know. We may have some wisdom and knowledge but it is nothing compared to God's. God is the only one who knows what tomorrow holds and how to walk in victory regardless of what that might be. The hour we are living in is a hour when we must depend more on God then at any time in human history. It seems like there are so many lies going around, and we do not know who or what to believe. The whole world is walking in confusion and they do not know just what to do. But with God, we can know because He never lies! He never changes. He is always the same and He is all wisdom and knowledge; and He is more than happy to give that to us, if we ask him; so we can walk in the victories He has for us. The Holy Spirit knows everything about tomorrow and He is our teacher and guide. Really, when we put all our trust in God, we become much wiser, more knowledgeable, more powerful and we can walk in victory because we know what is going on and how to be the victors; because the Bible tells us how. Now that is powerful! While others many be walking around in doubt, fear and lack of peace, we can walk in full victory and have perfect peace and no fear. It is awesome! We know that Jesus has spoiled principalities and powers. In other words, the devil, demons and people who follow him are already defeated; and we are the winners. Isn't it great knowing we have already won? Knowing that no sickness or diseases can enter our bodies! That every weapon that is formed against, is already defeated and cannot hurt us! When we know God's Word and we put all our trust in Him, He becomes our provider, our defender, our protector, or healer and everything else. While the world worries about sicknesses, wars, lack of this and lack of that, we just walk in victory because we have put all our trust in God. We cannot lose! The devil cannot hurt us in any way, shape or form. We can do all things through Christ Jesus. Jesus paid the full price needed for us to walk in this victory and to be the winners! Plus, He is right there helping us every step of the way. All we have to do is trust God. Trust Jesus! Trust the Holy Ghost! Who or what can stand against us? Nothing! If they cannot stand against God, how can they stand against us? They can't!! We have been given this victory by God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost. We find all this in our Bibles. When we ask Jesus to be our Lord and live His life in us, we instantly become all He is and He fights our battles for us. Yes, we need to trust the Lord with all our heart. When we do, we become victors!

Promises For The Last Days
There three wonderful promises that will help you more than ever during these,
the Last Days. I would say them over and over until they got into your heart, as
we are in those Last Days now. "The Lord has promise not to pour out
His wrath on us!" This means He will remove the church, that's us, before
He pours out His wrath on those that are left behind. Even though things look
bad and seem bad not only will He provide for us, He will protect us and then
remove us to heaven to be with Him before He pours out His Wrath on the world
below. That is a promise worth knowing! Second "the Lord will guide you
always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen
your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden. like a spring whose waters
never fail" (Isa. 58:11 NIV). Isn't this a great comfort? God will always
guide us, satisfy our needs, even during the great drought, and He will
strengthen us and we shall be like a well water garden. Do you know that we are
God's garden? And He watches over His garden and causes a harvest to always
come. Even when the people who do not know have nothing, God will supply
for us and we will never run out of His blessings. Here is the next verse you
need to know: "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. The Living Translation
says, They are plans for good and not for disaster". And the Message Bible
says, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out; plans to take care
of you, not abandon you. plans to give you the future you hope for"
(Jeremiah 29:11). God has promised us in His Word, that He has great plans for
each one of us. He has everything planned out, and He desires to take care of
us. The problem however, is that as humans, we desire to make our own plans
rather than let God make them for us. God is standing by, ready and willing to
direct our lives, but we must give Him permission to do that. How grieved our
Heavenly Father must be sometimes when we are going down the wrong path, and He
so desires to get us back on the right one. God's plan is like a slow-cooker
rather than a microwave. The path that He desires for us may seem like the long
way around. But that path molds us, softens us, and makes us what He desires us
to be. If I place a roast in the microwave, let it quickly cook the meat is
usually tough and hard to chew. However, if I place it in a slow-cooker and
leave it in there most of the day, the results will be a flavorful, tender piece
of meat, well seasoned. That's how it is with our lives. God takes us down
a path that will cause us to be much more tender and flavorful; if only we will
follow His plans than try to take a short-cut. When we see this and understand
it, we quickly see that God's plans and promises for us, are for our good, for
the best, and He never adds bad in it. The devil might, but God will only turn
it back around and make good out of it. When we surrendered to His will, His
plans and we walk in the promises He has for us, it makes our life so much more
wonderful than our own plans which come without the promises of God. Remember
that in these Last Days, our God is still the same as He never changes. He is
always there and He will do all He has promised us to do. Isn't that good to
know! So put it in your heart and when you need it, it will always be there and
God will move powerfully on your behalf. Remember also, before God pours out His
wrath on this earth, and that will be soon now; He will remove us to the safety
of heaven to be with Him.

Our Spiritual Mind
How do we create a spiritual mind? God's Word say we have the mind of Christ Jesus and then it tells us to put this mind on. How? Well Paul tells us to “Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. Bad or negative thoughts are like birds, you cannot keep them from flying around your head, but you can keep them from building a nest in your hair, or head. Just because someone speaks bad things around us, or we hear bad things, does not mean we have to receive them. God tells us to cast them down! Even in school or out to play, there are those who do not know God or His Word and they do not always have good ideas or speak what God says we should speak; but we do not have to receive it. We can cast it down. Once we have cast it down, we should fill our mind, our thought life, or meditation with God’s Word. God says, think on these things. When we do that, we sow good seed into the kingdom and our harvest is always good. When we allow the bad things to stay in our mind, it is not long and we begin to do them. But, if we cast them down and don’t think on them, but instead think on God’s Word, then we reap great things from God. I’ve noticed in public schools, the words and thoughts, that go around like birds there, are not good at all; and it is not long before we see someone playing out the very things they have been saying. Learn to obey the Word of God and walk in the victory that He has already given to you.

The Faith of God
Now real Faith is built on the Word and nothing else! It is untarnished by Sense Knowledge. That means, we have not mixed sense knowledge in with it. It's as unconscious of itself as is the faith of a little child in its mother's arms. The child never says, "Now Mother, I believe your word. I know that If I ask you for a piece of bread you will give it to me." If a child said such things it would frighten the mother. She would wonder what had happened to her child. All the child had to do was ask, not give a long drown out prayer request telling His mother why she should do it. Just ask and believe. The same is true when asking of our Father. We find the Word we desire or need. Then meditate in it. We think deeply on it. We feed upon it. The Word becomes a real part of ourselves; this Word of Faith builds into us confidence and assurance. Then we ask and it comes to pass. Sense Knowledge will fight every step of the way to hold us in the realm of things seen, felt, and heard. But, as we persistently drive ourselves into the Word until the Word is a part of our being, that Word is real, it comes alive. Therefore it can live in us as part of us and our mouth speaks it because we believe it. Hebrews 10:38, "My Righteous one shall live by grace. We are called the Righteousness of God, but we have also become the sons and daughters of God. The climax of the Revelation that God gave to Paul, recorded in Romans 8:14-17 states this clearly. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but you received the spirit of adaptation, whereby we cry, Abba Father. The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God; and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ." This is sonship with all its glorious privileges. Paul does not stop there. These sons and daughters are partakers not only of God's nature, but of God Himself in the person of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:11 "But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, He that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give Life also to your mortal bodies through His Spirit that dwelleth in you." 1 Corinthians 6:19, "Know ye not that your bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you?" This all comes to the believer by faith. There is no sense knowledge faith required. You do not need to have any feelings to prove that you are Born Again. All that is necessary is the Word of God. Faith in your faith is the law of success in the realm of the Spirit. You live in the Word and the Word lives in you. The Word is a living thing. When you let it loose in you, it is letting God loose in you. When you dare to act the on the Word and speak the Word; God will be in the words that you speak and His Word never returns void. As the Word gains the ascendancy, there will be an unconscious faith in your own ability to trust Him and speak His Word. You will trust Him utterly, you will go the limit of His Word without even thinking twice. We don't stop and wonder, "Do I have the faith to do this?", we just do it because we believe it, and it works. After awhile we suddenly realize that the gift of faith given to everyone, is in us and we have been building that faith by reading the Word out loud. The more we read, the more we believe and when we believe we act on what we believe and it works. We don't stop and wonder if we have faith, we just act on what we believe, confess it with our mouth and God does the rest. This is what we call "Real Faith, the God kind of faith"!

His Promise To Us For These Last Days
There two wonderful promises that will help you more than ever during these, the Last Days. I would say them over and over until they got into your heart, as we are in those Last Days now. "The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. In the Book of James, James tells us to draw close to God, and He will draw closer to us! Now you cannot beat that deal. Every inch closer to God we get, He gets a inch closer to us. Instead of one inch, that makes two inches. Wow! If we will submit ourselves therefore unto God, we can resist the devil and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Now that means more power delegated to us from God. Enough power that the devil will flee from us! Usually, Christians are running from the devil. They tell everyone what he is doing to them all week long. Yet, God's Word tell us that it should be just the opposite. When Jesus died and went to Hell in our place, He paid the total price for our sins, defeated the devil. Plucked out his teeth and made him just a roaring lion with no teeth. A Pussy cat with a big mouth; but no teeth or claws! He took away the keys to hell, and death and made a show of the devil openly so all could see. The devil does not even have a key to his own hose, that's how defeated he is. Then Jesus gave unto us, all power and authority. We are the overcomers! The devil has to flee from us! Once we come closer to God, we know who we are in Christ Jesus, and we do not need to run away anymore; instead, we run to the battles. We take our authority and we chase the devil and all his demons off and they flee! It is time for the Joshua generation to rise up and take their places in the family of God. We are the head and not the tail, we are above not underneath. But if we do not know who we are, how can we ever rise up and be all God has said we can be in His Word? It is time for us to get into the Word of God like never before! It is time we take our place as heirs to God's throne. We are joint heirs with Jesus. That means we can do all He did because He lives in us, empowers us and lives His life through us. We are not cast-a-ways! That's a lie from the devil! The devil has made Christians afraid of him and his so-called-power which he does not have. He is a powerless, a defeated foe. Do you know who you are in Jesus? Have you ever read in God's Word to know who you are? God is not a man that He can lie! His Word never goes out and returns void but it always does what it has been sent to do. Jesus made you the victor and He is not only in you, but He stands behind you to fulfill all He said you could do. No wonder the Bible tells that the greater one lives in us. Greater is He that is in you, then he that is in the world. The devil and his demons are in the world; Jesus is in us. The Bible asks us this question. If God is for you, who can stand against you? The answer; Nobody! Therefore, draw close to God and He will draw closer to you!

We've Already Won !
Some times the news on TV, radio, the computer, school, or the things we hear causes us to fear. Fear is not of God. He has not given us a spirit of fear. He has given us a sound mind, and peace. What we need to realize is, that we are living in the Last Days and the Bible says certain things must come to pass. BUT, if we read His book, the Bible, we find out that we have already won. We find out that God has promised not to pour out His wrath on His children, and that we will be the victors! When we get to the place where God pours out His wrath, we will already be gone. That's Right! Before His wrath is poured out, He has promised to remove the Church, that's us. Those who go through that awful time, are those who refuse to receive Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. They make the choice to stay and suffer the penalty for not receiving Jesus as Lord. God made this gift free to whosoever will. If we received Jesus Christ as our Lord, we do not go through that awful time. Plus, He has promised to take us before that ever happens. During this time we are now living in, He will protect us, feed us, heal us, provide for us and care for us and even fight for us. We are not of this world He tells us, we are of His kingdom and He is our Lord and King; and He is going to take us to heaven to be with Him as His family. Now, the world, not us, will go through this time without His help, or protection. They will suffer some through the birth pains, which are mild compared to what is coming, but they can repent anytime they desire and get saved. They could be supplied for just like us if they would only receive Jesus as Lord. They could be protected by God if they would receive Jesus as Lord. But because they do not, they go through what the Bible calls "Birth Pains, Wrath". Everyone knows that is not fun and it can be very dangerous at times. Plus, the closer they get to the wrath of God, the harder the birth pains become. But for us, we do not go through this! We may be here for the first 3 1/2 years, but God does not allow this time to be a hard time if we are believing Him and trusting in Him. We go through this victoriously! God will be with us every step of the way. He has promised us that when we call out to Him, He will answer us. He even answers before we ask! His love will strengthen us. Now that does not mean we will not feel some of this, but we still go through that part of it victoriously! If God is for us, who can stand against us? So remember, we win! We're not going to win, we have already won!

Trusting God Brings Victory
Proverbs 3:5 Tells us to trust in the Lord with all our heart. Notice it says "All our Heart", or "Spirit", the real us. We are never to rely on what we think we know. We may have some wisdom and knowledge but it is nothing compared to God's. God is the only one who knows what tomorrow holds and how to walk in victory regardless of what that might be. Were living in a hour when we must depend more on God then at any time in human history. It seems like there are so many lies going around, we do not know who or what to believe. The whole world is walking in confusion and they do not know just what to do. But with God, we can know because He never lies! He never changes. He is always the same and He has all wisdom and knowledge; and He is more than happy to give that to us, so we can walk in the victories He has for us. The Holy Spirit knows everything about tomorrow and He is our teacher and guide. Really, when we put all our trust in God, we become much wiser, more knowledgeable, more powerful and we can walk in the victory because we know what is going on and how to be the victors because the Bible tells us how.

God's Promises
There are two wonderful promises that have helped me more than ever during these, the Last Days. "The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden. like a spring whose waters never fail" (Isa. 58:11 NIV). I also remember my Pastor always telling me what God said in Jeremiah. "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. The Living Translation says, They are plans for good and not for disaster". And the Message Bible says, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out-plans to take care of you, not abandon you. plans to give you the future you hope for" (Jeremiah 29:11). God has promised us in His Word, that He has great plans for each one of us. He has everything planned out, and He desires to take care of us. The problem however, is that as humans, we desire to make our own plans rather than let God make them for us. God is standing by, ready and willing to direct our lives, but we must give Him permission to do that. If we choose however, to run our own lives, we open the door to all kinds of troubles. How grieved our Heavenly Father must be sometimes when we are going down the wrong path, and He so desires to get us back on the right one. God's plan is like a slow-cooker rather than a microwave. The path that He desires for us may seem like the long way around. But that path molds us, softens us up, and makes us what He desires us to be. If I place a roast in the microwave, let it quickly cook the meat is usually tough and hard to chew. However, if I place it in a slow-cooker and leave it in there most of the day, the results will be a flavorful, tender piece of meat. Now there is a big difference between a tough, unfavorable piece of meat, and a nice tender wonderful tasting one. That's how it is with our lives. God takes us down a path that will cause us to be much more tender and flavorful; loving, kind, peaceful, and usable, if only we will follow His plans than try to take a short-cut. When we see this and understand it, we quickly see that God's plans and promises for us, are for our good, for the best, and He never adds bad in it, they always bring all the good things we desire and want and we help others to reach their highest goals, all because we went God's way. The devil might try to do us hard and hurt, but God will only turn it back around and make good out of it. When we surrendered to His will, His plans and we walk in the promises He has for us. It makes our life so much more wonderful than our own plans which come without the promises of God. So please do it God's way and enjoy all the blessings that will suddenly come to you!

We've Already Won!
We need to always keep the thought fresh in our mind: "We've Already Won!" Some times the news we hear on TV or the things we hear people say causes us to fear. Fear is not of God.
