A Talk With Our Father

 

As you know, Jacob had a dream (Gen. 28:12) and in his dream he saw a ladder set up to reach heaven. The top was in heaven and the bottom was on earth. It was kind of an illustration to us  that we can reach God and talk to Him at any time, regardless of what we wanted or needed. He is always there for us!  This was before Jesus came. Isn't it good to know we can go to God any time we want. That He will listen to us and move on our behalf. We do not need to climb a ladder to get to God, but that would be fun. But we can ask God any thing we want and He will listen and give us what we ask for, if we ask in Jesus' name and believe in our heart God will do it.

Maybe you have something you would like to ask God for. Let's bow our heads right now and ask our Heavenly Father for what we want. He is listening! Jesus will see to it that our Father gives it to us. Jesus is always there for us.  God's Word says His promises are always yes! So we know we will receive what we ask for. "God Tells Me"

Churchman Bill Keane, creator of the popular "Family Circus" comic strip, tells of a time when he was penciling-in one of his cartoons and is son Jeffy asked, "Daddy, how do you know what to draw?" Keane answered, "God tells me." Then Jeffy responded, "Then why do you keep erasing parts of it?"

 

Our Father Loves Us

The love of God will work in every area in our life. God has a covenant with us if we understand what God and His word has said, and if our life is one that abides in His love. Then the Lord will move mightily on our behalf. As long as we follow God's orders, that's His Bible, we will win in the times of battle. Whenever we are obedient to the Word of God we will never stumble or fall. God is always on our side. Therefore there is never anything to fear. 

Aren't you so glad that God is our Father? That He loves us so much, and He is always there to help us. All we have to do is cry out and say Jesus, and all of God's help is on its way. We don't have to know long prayers or wait for weeks or months, all we need to do is say, "Jesus I need help." All the angels and all the power of God is there for us. I love that, Don't you. So if you're in need, just call out to Jesus, and God's word says He will answer you.

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love towards us. In that while we were still sinners Christ died for us."

Quiet!

Six-year-old Lisa and her four-year old brother Tim were sitting together with their parents in church, when Tim started giggling and talking out loud. "You're not suppose to talk loud in church!" 

" Why? Who's going to stop me?" Tim asked.  Lisa pointed to the back of the church and said, "See those two men standing by the door? They're hushers."

 

The Armor Of God

 The armor of God! My that sounds like a strange thing. Does that mean we dress like those of old that rode on big horses and had a helmet, shield and a spear?  No! I am glad that does not mean that because I do not really know how to ride a horse. Do you? I don't know how to use a spear either! What if my helmet was to big? How would I see? I am glad God did not mean that, when He told us to put on the whole armor of God. The Bible says we are in a Spiritual War. Its not against people, but spirits, the devil and his army! But wait! Don't be afraid, because God also tells us the battle is not ours; it is His. God fights our battles for us. My that's a relief! I am glad He fights my battles for me. But what is the armor of God then? Basically, its faith!  The good part of this, is that God gives everyone a measure of Faith. When we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord, He equips us with everything we need to be winners.  He tells us, that as we read His Word, faith comes. Faith to be overcomers! Faith to win! The devil wants us to believe we cannot win. So we put on our armor, arm ourselves with the Word of God and the devil flees from us, because if he does not, God will fight our battle for us! All we have to do, is believe! So, lets read our Bibles, pray and believe God. Now that is super armor and with just that much armor, we are always winners.

 

Let me pray for you right now, that you will always have your armor on and speak only God's Word. Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to help all of us to keep our armor on at all times. To walk in faith and speak only Your Words. That way we always win. And if the devil or his angels come, we know you will fight our battles for us, and because we believe that, we never lose, we always win. Amen.

Being Filled With The Holy Ghost

Jesus said, in the book of John, that it was very important for Him to go away. For if He did not go away, He could not send us the comforter (Holy Ghost) which was the promise of the Father. You may be very ordinary, but God wants to make you extraordinary in the Holy Ghost. Becoming a Superman takes no effort on our part. Jesus already accomplished it for us. I am not ashamed that I believe speaking in tongues is absolutely necessary for fulfilling a miraculous,  victorious Christian life in today's world. Praying in the Spirit is a Supernatural way of defeating the devil and everything he is trying to do. We have been destined by God to live by the Spirit, so we hunger for the supernatural. If we will move with Him, he will move with us. If we live in the spirit let us also walk in the spirit. When God moves, or  you feel the rustling of His spirit, you had better move with Him, or you will  move on your own or not at all. The man who shuts his spirit away and makes a prisoner of it, who never listens to it, or never obeys it, becomes a cripple and is an easy prey for defeat by the devil. That is why God said "This I say then, walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." Galatians 5:16

 

The Bible tells us to pray in the spirit every day. First of all in order to pray in the spirit, we must be filled with the spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I know that sounds hard but God is the one who gives us the ability to speak in other tongues if you haven't been filled with the spirit, why not ask your pastor your, mom or dad and have them pray for you right now that God will fill you with His holy Spirit. I will be praying for you too. Please let me know so I can rejoice with you.

Big Fisherman

A very upset minister walked into the fish market. "I want you to throw me four big fish," he said to the clerk. "Just toss 'em to me."

Divine Wisdom

When Solomon was granted whatever he wanted from God, he asked for wisdom, and became the wisest man of that day.  Because he had asked for wisdom to help the people, God also blessed him and he became the richest man in all the world, at that time. From this we can see that wisdom is very important and that God wants us to have wisdom. God is looking to you, even as a child or young person, to provide leadership that you may help others and meet their needs. God has given His word, and by His own Spirit, He has given us the perfect tool, divine wisdom. Even though you are very young, when this wisdom is flowing from you, you can help your playmates, school friends, brothers and sisters, or even your moms and dads and loved ones. There are so many problems in the world today, and so many people hurting, we need wisdom in order to help them. Have your friends ever asked you for help? Maybe at that time, you did not know what to tell them, or even how to help them. If we ask God, and receive the gift of wisdom, we will always have the answer no matter how hard it may seem.  Every one of us needs that wisdom from God. I cannot help you, or even do this web page without God's wisdom. It's not in our own strength, our own ability, our knowledge or wisdom that really helps people. It's God's wisdom freely given to us by God. It does not matter how old we are, how much schooling we have, or how talented we are, because it is not us, it's God and His gift to us. God who knows all things, sees all things, and understands all things gives to us the wisdom that we may help others.

Aren't you glad that we can receive God's wisdom? Even when we are young, God hears our prayers and He speaks to us because He is our Father. He gives us the Wisdom and Knowledge that we can reach out and help others. We don't have to be rich or famous  or even old enough to vote. All we have to do is ask God and when we do, we have His promise He will give us that wisdom so that we can help others. Why don't you ask Him right now. Maybe you know someone that needs help. Ask God for that wisdom because you have His promise, that He will give it to you. I ask God each week for the wisdom that I need to help you, because I love you.

God's Name

A "pillar of the church" passed away and was on his way to heaven. When he got to the pearly gates of heaven, he met an angel. The angel asked him what God's name was.

 "Oh, that's easy," the man replied. "His name is Andy."

 "What makes you think his name is Andy?" the angel asked.

 "Well, you see at church we used to sing this song, 'Andy walks with me, Andy talks with me.'"

New Life

 

When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord, it's kind of like us being in late fall, when all the trees and grass are dead. There seems to be no life anywhere. Every thing looks awful. At least to me! Then when we receive Jesus as Lord, then the snow comes and everything is covered in a new white cover. Everything looks like it is clean. It's like us after we receive Jesus as Lord. We are clean! Then spring comes, the snow melts and new life springs up everywhere. Flowers, Leaves, grass, bushes, birds and the smell of summer. It's awesome! We can walk in the grass without socks or shoes and it feels so good. Our new life in Jesus also feels so good! Our hearts are filled with joy, and peace fills our soul. We have love like never before, all because Jesus now lives within us. We can pray in His name and our New Heaven Father, God, hears and answers us. He talks to us. Oh what a great joy that is! Spring is just around the corner and soon life will return to the earth for the summer months. Our new life never leaves as long as we walk with Jesus. He is always there! I am so glad He is always there for me. Even in the winter months, He is always there. I built a little garden space with a rose arbor, roses, flowers, a big rock, and a bench to sit on; and I go there and talk with Jesus in the nice warm summer days. It's a place to be alone with Him. He is always there for me! I love Him so much. How about you? Is Jesus always there for you? He could be if you would like Him to be.

 

Have you asked Jesus into your heart yet? I believe it is time for you to do that! It's so easy. Just ask God to forgive you of all your sins. Tell Him you believe Jesus was raised from the dead and He is your Lord. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and be Lord of your life. Then thank Him for doing just that. Read your Bible everyday and don't forget to pray or talk to Jesus and your Father God, everyday. Your whole life will change and you will be so happy you did. Summer will always be in your life! Write and tell me if you are saved or if you just asked Jesus in to your heart. I will rejoice with you! I will be praying for you!!

Romans 10:9-10 "that if you confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (10)  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

 

God the Artist

Bobby and his grandmother were looking at vacation pictures. "It looks just like an artist painted this scenery," Grandma said.  "Did you know God painted it all for you, Bobby?"

 "Yes," Bobby said. "God did it with His left hand." 

 This confused his grandmother a bit,  "What makes you say God did this with His left hand?"

 "Well," said Bobby, "we learned at Sunday school last week that Jesus sits on God's right hand."

Miracles!!

That sounds so wonderful! Miracles! Over and over Jesus performed miracles. I am not talking about healing or any other thing. I am talking about miracles. A miracle is something that no one on earth can do. Medicine cannot do it, or even the wisest person in the world cannot do it. Miracles come from our Father God! The blind see, the lame walk, the cancer is gone. Oh what wonderful news! All the way through the Old Testament, we saw God performing miracles for the children of Israel. For 40 years their clothing did not wear out. They never had to buy shoes! He feed them miracle food that fell from heaven. Then we come to the New Testament and we se our Lord Jesus Christ doing miracles! The Bible is a miracle book! The day of miracles are not over. I have prayed for the blind and they received their sight. I've seen God give miracles to children with cancer over and over. It is such a blessing to my heart to see God do miracles. Who can receive a miracle?? Anyone who asks God and believes! God said, "Call upon Me and I will answer you." He also said, "Ask and you shall receive!" Now that is not hard. If we believe His Book and His Word, then we can have a miracle if we need one. But you have to be in miracle land to receive a miracle! If you only need a healing, He will do that too, but that is not a miracle. Now if you have some sickness, disease, or disability that no doctor or medicine can cure, then you are in miracle land, and God will give you a miracle. That makes me feel very comfortable and safe. I can know in my heart that God will give you or anyone a miracle. Isn't that a joy to your heart. If  you or someone in your family, a loved one, or a friend  needed a miracle, if you asked God, He will do it for you. A man almost missed his miracle in the Old Testament, but a friend talked him into doing what the prophet told him to do, and he got his miracle. That's what I want to do for you! Talk you into getting the miracle you need. God can and will do it!

Do you need a miracle? Does someone you know need a miracle? Then together lets ask God for that miracle for you or them. If we believe, He will do it. Not only that, but God said if any two would agree on one thing, He would do it. So we know we can get our miracle. 

" Father, we are believers! We know your word is truth. We know you will do what you said you would do. Father, in Jesus name we ask you to do this miracle. (Tell Him the miracle now). Thank you Father!! We have our miracle!" Please let me know what miracle God did for you so I can rejoice with you. I know you will get your miracle if you asked and agreed with me. Remember that I love you and I am here to help you!

Afraid of the Dark

One of Tommy's favorite games was to ride his mother's broom around the yard like a horse. When it started to get dark, Tommy went into the house, leaving the broom in the yard. In cleaning up after dinner, Tommy's mother asked the boy to bring in her broom.

 "But I'm scared to go out in the dark, Mamma."

 Mother answered, "The Lord is out there, honey. Don't be afraid."

 So Tommy opened the back door a crack and called out, "Lord if you're out there, hand me the broom!"

Hearing the Voice of God

In the New Testament, Jesus told us that My Sheep know My voice, and another's voice they will not follow. In the Old Testament, We see the life of the great prophet Samuel. When he was very young, God came to him and called him by name. This was God's first visit to Samuel. Samuel did not know it was God. Three times the voice came to him, before Samuel finally knew this was God speaking to him. From that day on, Samuel grew into one of the greatest prophets of the Bible. The Bible is a prophetic book, from Genesis to Revelation. It is God speaking to us. Not only will God speak to us through the Bible, but He also speaks to us personally. We need to develop that part in our life. First we need to know what the Bible says, for God always speaks in line with what the Word says. He said He would not do one thing, without letting us know first. Hearing and knowing God's voice is the most important thing in our new life. God loves us and He wants us to know what is ahead, what is to come, and what we should do. Samuel was a very young boy, when God first talked to him. We see and know many other people or young people who God talks to and uses. The Bible says a child shall  lead them. So, just because you are a child, does not mean you cannot hear God, that you cannot be used by God; for God wants to use you. Jesus called the little children to him, He said, "for such is the kingdom of heaven." He said, we do not become like little children we will not enter the kingdom heaven. Through this we can see that God truly wants to use children, God wants to use you. Maybe God's been speaking to you and you just have not recognized His voice yet. Why not check out what He is saying to you with your mommies your daddies or your Pastor. Once you recognize God's voice, then it will be awful easy to follow it. You know your daddies voice, you know your mothers voice, so once you know God's voice, then you will know who's talking to you. Check it out with the Word of God to make sure it lines up with it. Then do what He is telling you to do, but make sure first that you know God's voice, because the enemy would like you to do wrong things. God only tells you to do good things, things that will bless you, things that will help other people, things that will fulfill His Will. Samuel ,as I said before, became one of the greatest prophets and leaders of the Old Testament, that's what God wants us to do. Jesus always knew the voice of the Father and did the things the Father told him to do. We need to be like that.

Let's ask God right now to help us that we hear His voice and know it. That we always follow it and do the things He tells us to do, so that we can be all He wants us to be. Father we thank you for that and we know you will do that because you said your sheep hear your voice and another's voice they will not follow. Thank you Father.

Where Jesus Is

Four - year - old Brianna was at the pediatrician for a check up. When the doctor looked in her ears, he asked, "Do you think I'll find Bib Bird in here?" Brianna only giggled.

 Next, the doctor took a tongue depressor and looked down her throat. This time he asked, "Do you thing I'll find the Cookie Monster down there?" Brianna giggled again.

 Then the doctor put a stethoscope to her chest. As he listened to her heart beat, he asked, "Do you think I'll find Barney in there?" 

 "Oh, no!" Brianna replied. "Jesus is in my heart. Barney's on my underpants."

GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

God is always faithful! He is not a man that He can lie. If He has said it, He will do it. In this world there is not a lot of things we can trust 100%. At times we may wonder if there is anything we can really trust. YES!! We can always trust God! The problem is most people do not really know the Word of God. Because they do not know what God has said and what He has not said; they cannot trust God. Maybe someone close to you has promised you something and could not do what they promised. We usually begin to believe God is like that; but He is not! People can fail us, but according to God's Word, He cannot fail us. Therefore, we have to believe Him. If we do not believe Him, then we are the ones who walk away without the promises, because God has already said He would do it. I heard someone talking about praying for someone in the hospital, and they said the room was filled with God's presence. They could feel it all over the place. Then they said, the person went home to be with the Lord. Now lets think about that for a minute. If God's presence did fill the room and He was there, everyone would of been healed; not die. What was the problem then? They talked the talked, but they did not believe God's Word. They had asked Him to come. He came and because they did not believe Him, the person died. How sad!! Remember the story in the Bible where the presence of God was present to heal? Only one person got healed and yet the house was filled with people who needed something. The problem was not God, as He was there to heal. The problem was those in the room. They did not believe God or His Word and therefore did not receive anything. The Bible is clear about that. We have to believe in order to receive. If we believe, then we receive! Everyone of us can receive the promises of God; if we believe in our heart and not our heads.

 Maybe you want a miracle from God! Maybe you need a healing or salvation for someone; or even healing for someone else. Let's agree together and believe God to do all He has promised to do. Then, we must stand on God's Word regardless of what others do. If we do that, God will give us what we ask Him for. I am praying for you right now. I am believing for you to receive whatever you are believing for. It will come to pass because we have asked God and He said He would do it. Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers. We believe you and your Word.

At the Sunday school picnic, Miss Smith stacked a pile of apples on one end of a table with a sign saying, "Take only one apple, please - God is watching." On the other end of the table was a plate of cookies on which a second  grader had placed a sign saying, "Take all the cookies you want - God is watching the apples."

God Is Always There

 

One of the most wonderful things about our lives as Christians, is God is always with us. He promised never to leave us, but to go with us to the very ends of the earth. Now, that is very comforting and brings peace to my heart. Have you ever thought about that? That God is always with you? In the dark of night or the light of day, God is right there with you! His protecting power is always with you! To some, this might be frightening as they are not really living for God and if He is always with them, He also sees everything they are doing or saying. Now that would be very scary if you were not living 100% for God. But being you are, we enjoy the great benefits that comes with God, always being with us.  We never have to be alone! No matter what, God is there and He is on our side! WOW!! The God who created heaven and earth, put the stars and moon in place, made the trees and flowers, is always with us. This shows His great love for us. It's like when we go walking and our Mom or dad holds our hands. We are not afraid of anything. Well, God is kind of doing the same thing. He is holding our hand and protecting us. All we have to do is call out to Him, and He answers that call. Isn't that wonderful? God is always with you! He's there for you right now and He will be there for you every second of every day. Why? Because He loves you!!

 

Let's thank God for always being there! Father, (He is our Father you know) Father, thank you for always being there for me. I love you very much. I am so happy you are always there and that I can trust in you, knowing you will always be there for me. Thank You Jesus. I am glad I am yours!

Jamie was attending his first wedding. After the service, his cousin asked him,

Revival For Today

Even though we are very young, God has promised us a revival and I know He is going to use all of us, even us kids. In the Bible God used kids many times and Jesus said such was the Kingdom of God. That we need faith like a child. So, we can see He wants to use us and He is going to use us. He wants to use our hands, our mouth, and our feet. He will heal others through our hands! He promised us that if we laid our hands on anyone, they would be healed. He told us to speak the Word only and He would bring it to pass. That every place the souls of our feet tread upon, is our land. Everything we put our hands to, will prosper. Those are some powerful promises!  Usually we think that is for the adults or the Pastor. But the Word of God was written to everyone regardless of their age. Therefore, these verses are just as much for us, as anyone else. If that is true, and it is! Then we can do what adults, pastors, evangelists, our Sunday school teachers or anyone else can do. We can reach our friends and those at school for Jesus. We can lead them to the Lord! Do you know how to lead a person to Jesus? You should learn the prayer that will help them do this and then they can just say it after you. We can make it easy for them, and then they will know Jesus just like we do. We can share our Bible with them and help them in so many ways. Our whole life changes as we do the work God has called us to do. We see people healed, saved and even filled with the Spirit. You can do it! God said you could. Then your friends will all be saved and your school so much better. Even your teacher can be saved because of you. Here is what I tell people to do if they do not know Jesus. "Just repeat this after me. God, forgive me of my sins. I believe Jesus came and died for my sins. Jesus come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. I receive you right now. Thank you God for saving me and becoming my Father. Thank you Jesus for being my Lord." It's that easy!! 

I am glad God told me to tell you about this. I believe that each of you will lead someone to Jesus and help them make Him their Lord. I know it will happen because God said it would. I will be praying for you and waiting to hear from you. It will be so exciting to hear about your friends coming to Jesus and making Him the Lord of their life. Praise God for what He is going to do through you! Everyone of us can do it. Why not do it yet today. Pray first for God's help and tell the Holy Spirit to lead you to the right ones. Don't forget to let me know. Thank you God for helping them! Thank you Holy Spirit for showing them what to do. We love you!!

The Three Little Pigs

A first grader was sitting in class as the teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs. She came to the part of the story where the first pig was trying to acquire building materials for his home. She said "... And so the pig went up to the man with a wheelbarrow full of straw and said 'Pardon me sir, but might I have some of that straw to build my house with?'"

Then the teacher asked the class, "And what do you think that man said?"

 The teacher's son's friend raised his hand and said. "I know! I know!, he said,...... 'Holy smokes! A talking pig!'" 

The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes.

Angels Protect God's Kids

The Word of God is very clear that God has provided us protection by his angels. He has given us two angels just to watch over us and protect us. They are always there with us. Night or day, here or away, they are always there. When we know this, the Bible says we can put them to work for us. As long as we ask them to do what God has said they will do, they move in a mighty way on our behalf. When the prophet's servant could only see the enemy surrounding them, the prophet prayed that God would open his eyes so he could see. When God opened his eyes there were more angels there to help them, then there were enemies. I like that story! When Paul was in jail, God sent an angel to free him and bring him out of the jail. All through the Bible we see God using angels to provide protection and help. Many people call these guardian angels. That they are, but they are far more than that. They are on special assignments from God to us. God Himself sent them and they obey His commands. They also obey our commands as long as we speak God's Word. The Bible says they are ministering spirits sent to minister on our behalf. That's powerful! We may not ever see one, but they are there. They are there to help and protect us. This is how much God loves us. Our own bodyguards. The President has bodyguards to protect him. But we have God's bodyguards sent to protect us. They go where we go and they are very faithful to their jobs. They never sleep or go on vacations. They are always there. That makes me feel so safe. Thank you God for giving me my angels to protect me and help me. Thank you for sending my friends, angels to protect and help them. Thank You Jesus!!

 

I hope you see and now understand that God has given you two powerful angels to protect and help you. My prayer for you is that you know in your heart that God has sent these angels to help and protect you. Lets thank Him together. Thank you father for the angels you have sent to protect and help me. Thank you Jesus for these angels. I love you!! Write and tell me how thankful you are now that you know, you have protecting angels. I love you all. See you next week!!

Science Class

The teacher of the earth science class was lecturing on map reading.

 After explaining about latitude, longitude, degrees and minutes the teacher asked, "Suppose I asked you to meet me for lunch at 23 degrees, 4 minutes north latitude and 45 degrees, 15 minutes east longitude, who would meet me for lunch?

 After a confused silence, a voice volunteered, "I guess you'd be eating alone."

The Three Little Pigs

My Pastor once preached on the “Three Little Pigs.” I’ve heard the type on this sermon even though I do not remember him preaching it, as I was not yet born. It was a powerful sermon on how we must not only hear the Word of God, but also do what God is saying to be victorious in all we do. Do you know this story? It seems there were three little pigs and they decided to go out on their own. Their father gave them the words of wisdom, so they could be victorious; just like our Father has given us the His Word, so we can be victorious. The first little pig was in a big hurry to have fun and live his own life as he felt was best. So when he saw a man selling straw, he bought enough to build his house, and went out to play and have fun. Then he saw the wolf coming and ran fast into his house and locked the door. The wolf came to the door and said, “Open the door or I will Huff and Puff and blow your house down. The pig did not think he could do it. But with a huff and puff the house came tumbling down. The little pig quickly ran to his brothers house. Now, this second pig bought some sticks and built house out of sticks. The bad wolf followed this first pig to his brothers house and said, “Open the door or I will huff and puff and blow your house down.” “Go ahead,” said the second pig, “You cannot blow my house down!” So the wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the second pig’s house down. Both the pigs ran to their other brother house for help. The third pig had listened to his father and built his house upon rock with stone. When the bad wolf got there, he once again said, “Open the door or I will huff and puff and blow your house down!” “Not by the hair of my chinnie chin chin,” said the third pig. So the wolf huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed, but he could not blow the third pig's house down.  He built his house upon the Rock! Jesus told us to build our house upon the Rock. He is that Rock. God promised us in Psalm 12:5, that even though the wolf or devil would come and huff and puff, "now I will arise saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.” In other words, God will not let the wolf (devil) blow our house down; if we build it upon the Rock and not in the sand (Matt.7:21-27). He said the rains and the winds will come and beat on our house, but it will not fall down! He can huff and puff all he wants, but he cannot blow our house down. I like that!!

Is your foundation built upon the Rock, Christ Jesus? We build our house upon the Rock by receiving Jesus as our Lord; and then by knowing the Word of God and standing on it. The devil will come,  but, we will always stand and he cannot huff hard enough or puff hard enough to blow our house down. It will stand and we will always be the victors! The moral of this story as they say, is hear God’s Word, hide it in your heat. Do what God tells you to do, and if and when the wolf comes, he cannot blow your house down. We have the victory!! I am praying for you that you will build your house upon the Word of God. And because you have, the wolf (devil) will never be able to blow your house down.

Red Light, Green Light

A little boy was listening to a long and tedious musical presentation by the church choir. Suddenly the red votive light by the altar caught his eye. Tugging his father's sleeve, he asked, "Daddy, when the light turns green can we go?"

Finish this verse: "Seek ye first the kingdom of .............., and his righteousness; and ................. shall be added unto you."

Don’t Let Satan Steal You Joy

 

I am convinced from God’s Word that there is confusion in Satan’s camp when he comes against a child of God, who will not let his joy be taken from his heart, but who continues to worship, praise and rejoice in God. If you will laugh at the enemy and rejoice in the fact that God is able to deliver you, the enemy can’t prevail against you. Satan’s forces don’t know how to handle praise and rejoicing. Do you remember the problems it seemed Habakkuk had? (Hab. 3:17).  Mr. Habakkuk has some problems here. He can’t get his figs to grow. He can’t get any fruit on the vines. His olives are failing. His fields are not producing. His flocks have been cut off from the fold. His cattle are missing from the stalls. But despite the calamities that seem to have come to him; look at what he says in the next verse. “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation (Hab. 3:18). Now here is a man the devil can’t beat. Satan has come against him by every available way, but Habakkuk still praises and rejoices in God. You can’t beat anyone like that. Why? Well, he said, “I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Do you know what salvation is? Deliverance! The reason Habakkuk could continue to rejoice, even in the midst of troubles, was that he knew God would deliver him, run the enemy off, and restore all the enemy was trying to steal. Habakkuk said, “I’m not down by all of this. I know how it’s going to turn out. I’m  going to get hind’s feet. God is going to cause me to jump right over this problem and I am going to win! Now that is good news. So, if we do not let Satan steal our joy, and we keep praising God and rejoicing, God will always cause us to win.

 

I like what the Psalmist said, “For by Thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” (Ps. 18:29). When the Devil has lined up all of his forces and you are outnumbered, when it looks as though you are surrounded by walls on all sides and there seems to be no way of escape, God can make your feet like hind’s feet so that you too can “run through a troop” and “leap over a wall”. As long as you refuse to allow the Devil to steal your joy, you aren’t out of the game yet and God will always make you the winner. Always!! I am praying for you to always win!

Hey, I'm Fine 

Clyde, a farmer in Alabama, decided his injuries from the accident were serious enough to take the trucking company (responsible for the accident) to court. In court the trucking company's fancy lawyer was questioning Clyde. 

"Didn't you say at the scene of the accident, 'I'm fine?" asked the lawyer. 

Clyde responded, "Well, I'll tell you what happened. I had just loaded my favorite mule Bessie into the..." 

"I didn't ask for any details," the lawyer interrupted, "just answer the question. Did you or did you not say 'I'm fine' at the scene of the accident?"

 Clyde said, "Well, yes, but I had just got Bessie into the trailer and I was driving down the road..." 

The lawyer interrupted again and said, "Judge, I am trying to establish the fact that, at the scene of the accident, this man told the Highway Patrolman on the scene that he was just fine. Now several weeks after the accident he is trying to sue my client. I believe he is a fraud. Please tell him to simply answer the question." 

By this time the Judge was fairly interested in Clyde's answer and said to the lawyer, "I'd like to hear what he  has to say about his favorite mule, Bessie." 

Clyde thanked the Judge and proceeded, "Well, like I was saying, I had just loaded Bessie, my favorite mule, into the trailer and was driving her down the highway when this huge semi-truck and trailer ran the stop sign and smacked my truck right in the side. I was thrown into one ditch and Bessie was thrown into the other. I was hurting real bad and didn't want to move. However, I could hear ole Bessie moaning and groaning. I knew she was in  terrible shape just by her groans. About that time a Highway Patrolman came on the scene. He could hear Bessie moaning and groaning so he went over to her. After he looked at her he took out his gun and shot her between the eyes. Then the Patrolman came across the road with his gun in his hand and looked at me and said, 'And, how are you feeling?'"

RESISTING THE DEVIL

In God’s Word we read "So give yourselves humbly to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 TLB). God says we have to resist the devil. Some times we wonder, “how do I do that?” It sounds hard but it is not. Jesus gave to us, all the power and authority, over all things, whether in heaven, on the earth, or below the earth. He told us, that by using His Name, the Name of Jesus, we would always win. That includes driving the devil back, or off our land or out of our house, school or wherever he might be. Jesus said, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!” The devil cannot stay around when we use the Name of Jesus against him. It's kind of like the Old West. When they were going from one place to another, at times the Indians would attack them. So they would circle their wagons and be able to win the battle. Well, it is time we circled the wagons, pulled out the artillery, the Word of God, rolled up our sleeves, and rebuked the devil and run him off. It is not the greatness of our faith that moves mountains, it is our faith in the greatness of our God. God is the mountain mover! When we believe Him and His Word, He moves the mountain out of the way and everything becomes ok again. In this cause, God runs the devil off because we put our faith in Him and His Word, which told us to “resist the devil” and he has to flee from us. God will always fight our battles for us, if we put our faith in Him and His ability. He is our Father and He loves us with all His heart. When we as children are in danger, doesn’t our earthly father always come to help us? Or even our mothers? Well, our heavenly Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, does the same thing. So tell the devil to get lost. Get out of here. He has to go. Remember what Jesus said? “If you ask the Father anything in My Name, He will do it” Well, what are we waiting for?

 

Father, right now, In Jesus’ Name, we come against the devil and his demons and command them to flee from here. Flee from our home, our land, our school and everywhere I go. Flee in the Name of Jesus. Father, I thank you that Your Word is true and that the devil and his demons have to flee from me. Thank you Father. Jesus, I love you. I am glad we did that! Now we can be more happy, and if the devil comes back, we can do it over and over and always walk in the victory Jesus has already given to us. HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Real faith in God,  heart faith, believes the Word of God regardless of what the physical evidence may say, or how it may look. The devil always makes sure things look bad, feel bad, or someone wants to tell us how bad they are. We live in a world of negative speaking, thinking people. It so sad! Yet God says we are not to be moved by what we feel, see or hear. We are only to be moved by His Word. Paul told us in Philippians chapter 4, verse 11 and 13,  “I have learned how to be content, satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted in whatever state I am. I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him (Christ) who infuses inner strength into me, that is, I am “self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.”

Wow!! Paul tells us that we can overcome anything the devil sends our way and walk in the total victory already given to us by Christ Jesus. Paul said he had learned to do this! Now if Paul could learn how to do this, so can we. He is the one who also told us to live, walk, and speak like he did. He found out he was always a victor as long as he trusted in Jesus and the Word of God. It did not matter what things looked like, or how we felt, or what someone other then God said; God’s Word was always right and God’s Word would give us the victory if we stood on it and spoke it and not what we saw, felt or heard. In other words, we can always have the victory if we learn to do this. No matter how we feel, or what it may look like, or what someone tells us; if we stand on God’s Word, God will turn it around and we will have the victory. I like that!!  We become self-sufficient, not in our self or power, but in the self-sufficiency of Jesus. Jesus lives His life through us! We become like a Superman. We change from the weak, beaten down, lacking, hurting person we were, into a Superman. Or we could also say, “Like Jesus!”

I want to be like Jesus. When people see me, I want them to see Jesus. When I speak, I want my words to be like the words of Jesus. I want to walk in the same power, anointing, and ability that Jesus had, and I can “if” I learn to walk like, speak like, act like Jesus. He did only what He heard His Father say. He spoke only what he heard His Father speak. Jesus said we can hear God’s voice because we are His sheep. Then lets be like Jesus. We can also learn the Bible or the Word of God and speak what it says. This is what Paul learned to do. He said “I learned”. Have you learned? Father, please help us all to learn to speak and do your Word, that we can be like Jesus. Thank you Father! I am praying for you to be like Jesus!

Wedding Day

Little Tony was in his uncle's wedding. As he came down the aisle during the ceremony, he carefully took two steps, then stopped and turned to the crowd. When facing the congregation he put his hands up like claws and roared loudly. So it went, step, step, turn, roar, step, step, turn, roar, all the way down the aisle.

As you can imagine, the congregation was near tears from laughing. By the time little Tony reached the altar, he was near tears too. When later asked what he was doing, the boy sniffed and said, "I was being the Ring Bear."

OVERCOMING DEFEAT
Everyone of us wants to live in victory. No one likes to be defeated. We want our basketball team, baseball team or our football team to always win. We do not like to be defeated! Even in our own life we do not want to be defeated. We want to always win! In God’s Word we find that He has made us a winner through Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus paid the price so we could always win. He defeated Satan and his angels, took the keys away from them and gave us the power of attorney to use His Name so we could be winners and not losers. Defeat was not for the children of God as long as they do what His Word told them to do. In 1 John 5:4, we read, “And this is the victory that has overcome the world”. Thinking faith thoughts and speaking faith words will lead your heart out of defeat and into victory. God said in His Word, “that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” He also told us to “cast down every thought and imagination that does not line up with what God has said. From this, we can see that if we think and speak God’s Word, we will never be defeated. God has given us all a measure of faith to profit with. So if we think on His Word and speak what His Word says, we will be speaking words of faith and we cannot be defeated, but we will win. Now I like that! I can always be a winner as long as I think on God’s word and speak His Word from my mouth. That is powerful! No wonder God told us in His Word to put a guard at our mouth. He knew that if we did not do that, we would be thinking on the wrong things and then speak them out of our mouth and bad things would come to pass. But, if we think on His Word and speak His Word, it will come out of our heart, through our mouth and good things will come to pass and we will never be defeated. We can walk in constant victory. The devil may place a negative word in our mind, but we will just cast it down and speak what God said instead. That’s how to live in victory and never be defeated. I am going to make sure I think on God’s Word and speak His Word out of my mouth, because that is speak faith words, and I will never be defeated. Why don’t you do the same thing? I’ll pray for you right now.
 
Father, I pray that me and my friends will always think on Your Word so we speak it out of our mouth, so we always live in victory and are never defeated. We will be the overcomers spoken of in You Word. We will think on Your Word and speak Your Word so we are never defeated. We will live in that victory You told us we could have. We know you do not lie, so we can have what You said we could have. Jesus, You said that if we asked the Father anything in Your Name, He would do it for us. Therefore, we have it because we have asked and we do believe. Thank you Father. Thank You Jesus. We love you and we receive what You said in Your Word that we can have. We will live in victory and never be defeated because You said so. Remember, I am praying for you and I love you!

More Than We Ever Expect

There is a powerful verse in Ephesians 3:20 that speaks about our Father God, doing more than we ever expect for us. “Now glory be to God who by His mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of; infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes” and always brings great victory. How big can you dream? I don’t know about you, but I can dream some big dreams. Yet, here, God says He will give me pleasures far bigger than my dreams. WOW! He will even give us pleasures and answers far bigger than our highest thoughts. This is powerful! He will give us pleasures and answers, and even victories far bigger then our highest desires. I desire to see thousands of souls saved. All my family, friends and people I do not even know. God says He will do a lot more than that! He will move for us far bigger then our highest hopes. He is saying here to us, when we use the faith we have, God not only answers that but goes an extra step and gives things we could never imagine He would do. That is wonderful! God loves us so much, He will do more for us then we can ask, think or even dream. What a love that is. When we stop to think about this, we see He has already given us the best He has in His Son Jesus, our Lord. So why wouldn’t He give us everything we have need of in this life! In this verse, He says he will, and we can believe that and see it in our lives. Oh, the love of God! He is a true Father who loves His children and wants to give them the very best. Not spoil us, but bless us. He cares for us, His Word says so. That’s a big word when we think about it. Cares. In other words, He takes care of our every need because He cares for us. What love that is! He did not just make the world and everything in it and let it get along however it could; He planed to be there to meet our every need. He knows we do not always know what we need; so He gives us that and whatever else we might have need of. He wants us to be happy in every area of our life, physically, as well as all other ways. He heals, delivers, sets us free, gives us money, food, clothing and listens when we ask for some thing. He’s never too busy to answer or hear us. He is there for us. And we need to remember, He goes way beyond our needs and gives us more, much, much more.

Father, we thank You for all You have done for us and for all You are yet going to do for us. We love You with all our heart. We thank You for sending Jesus to be our Lord. We thank You for life and that more abundantly. We love you!! I ask You to make this real in the hearts of all my friends who come to read this and their friends they tell about this love. I thank You for that! I love them and I want every need they may have to be fulfilled in Jesus’ Name, I ask. Thank You Father. I will be in prayer for you, and I know God is going to bless you and supply all your needs, because He promised and I have asked Him to do that for you!

The little girl looked up and said, "That's what they call Him in church. You know the prayer we say, 'Our Father, who art in heaven, Harold be Thy Name.'"

Our Privileges As Children of God

 

In Isaiah we find another wonderful promise on how God gives us special privileges because we are His children. he tells us we shall dwell on high. This is not just talking about heaven. God will exalt us and raise us up in this life to a far higher position. We are not under, we are above, not the tail but the head He also tells us. I am glad we can rise out of whatever place we happen to be in, and rise to a much higher place. This goes on to say, He shall give us bread and water. His provisions are for us. Not like someone who get in jail, but food and water. He will meet our every need. We do not have to worry about the things that are coming, our God will provide for us whatever we have need of. Not only that, but He will protect us. He has a place of protection for us where no enemy can hurt us or touch us, if we believe Him and His Word.  I love knowing that God is protecting me. I don't have to be afraid or worry, as He is always there. He fights my battles for me. He will fight your battles for you also. Isn't that good. WOW!! God fights for us. Who can defeat us? No one!! Then this verse goes on to say He has some promises here for us. In the Bible there are over 60,000 promises for us. In this verse are just a few, but they are powerful. Our eyes shall see the King or Jesus. We have His security. Better than any life insurance there is. Assurance!! God's Word! Our Daily supplies. Psalm 23 tells us we never need to worry as He will lead us in green pastures and our cup will run over. He protects us from our enemy and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Just think, He wants to give us everything we have need of. He wants to protect us and keep us safe at all times. He has given us 60,000 promises that are ours! That's all for this life we are living in right now. Everything we will ever need! And on top of that, like whipped cream on top of a sunday, He promises us we will live with Him in heave after we leave this life, for ever. WOW!! Talk about a God of Love. He's far more than that! He's our everything! So many put off every promise until they get to heaven. But when we get to heave, we will not need most of them. The promises are for the here and now. We need them now! So, our Father God made sure we had everything we will ever need. How do we get them? Just believe He has given them to you and ask the Father in Jesus Name for them and thank Him you have them, and they shall come out of heaven, down to earth to you. You will walk in the promises of God!

 

Doesn't that sound wonderful. Almost too good to be true. But it is true! God wants to give us His promise. That is why He has already given them to us. they are ours. All we have to do, is ask for them! It's so easy, many miss them as they try to make it hard to get them. God has already given them to us. So just take them by faith and thank Him for them. Father, help them right now receive all the promises you have for them. Meet their every need. I love you Father and thank You in Jesus' Name. I have prayed for you and I know God is going to bless you with these gifts. I will be here if you need me. Until next week, remember that I love you and I am praying for you!

A city slicker moves to the country and decides he's going
to take up farming. He heads to the local co-op and tells the man,
"Give me 100 baby chickens." The co-op man complies.

A week later the man returns and says, "Give me 200 baby
chickens." The co-op man complies.

Again, a week later the man returns. This time he says,

"Give me 500 baby chickens."

"Wow!" the co-op man replies. "You must really be doing
well!" "Naw," said the man with a sigh. "I'm either planting

CONQUERS NOT QUITTERS

 

No Christian really has the spirit of a quitter living inside them; you have the spirit of the only man in history to conquer death. You have the spirit of a winner inside you; the spirit of Jesus Christ. The enemy would like for us to believe we are afraid or want to quit, but he is the liar and has never told the truth. He has no power and therefore can only use the power we give him, or allow him to use. When God created us, He had in His mind winners! He made us to be winners. The Bible says we were created in His likeness and image to be. God never quit! He never lost a battle. He is always the victor. He wins every time! So, if we do as He has told us to do, guess what? We win!! Quitters never win. They run from the enemy every time he comes around. They are afraid! Because the devil has placed a spirit of fear inside of them. But, when we get saved, God removes that spirit of fear because He never gave it to us in the first place. He gives us power and a strong mind. We become overcomers. We become the winners in every thing we do. He made us conquers. A conquer never runs from the battle, because he knows deep inside he has already won the battle. Jesus told us, we have already won! Really, the Bible says the battle is not ours, its God's. God fights our battles for us. Jesus fought our battles and won them for us, so we could always walk in that victory! So why would anyone want to quit? If we do not listen to the lies of the devil, then we know we have already won. No matter how big, or how high the battle is, we've already won it. All we have to do is what God tells us or shows us in His Word. It's that easy! But the devil is always trying to lie in our ears and tells us we cannot win, so quit. No way!! Jesus said we had won! Jesus said we were the victors, not the devil. When we know what God's Word says, and believe what it says and not what others or the devil says, then we walk in the victory that is always ours. So the devil tries to get us to believe him and not God. If he can do that, we lose! We become quitters. Not what we were created to be, but what we become because we listen to others, the devil or whatever and not God and His Word. Believe God and His Word and you will never be a quitter, you will always be the conquer!! I do not know about you, but I made up my mind to be a conquer all the time!!

 

Father, I pray for all my friends. I want to see them always winning and never quitting. I want them to be conquers. I know they can. Holy Spirit, teach them God's Holy Word so they can be the conquers Jesus has already made them. I love them Father. Thank you for I ask in Jesus' name. Remember, you are not a quitter, you are a conquer! I know you will always win now that you know this. Holy Spirit always bring this to their mind, so they will always walk in the victory, never a quitter but always a conquer!! See you next week. I am here if you need me!!

Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door. 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids. 8. The now clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself.

Always Believe The Word

 

We are living in a world where at times we wonder just what to believe. Even in the church world and in the lives of Christians, we hear many different things. We could ask, just what is truth? Jesus told us His Word was Truth. From this we can quickly see, it does not matter what anyone says, what matters is what God’s Word says. We find this in ever area of our lives. Circumstances, problems, sickness, things going on in school, at home, or in the world; God’s Word is always true. Paul told us in Philippians that he learned to live above the circumstances, problems, sickness, or what ever. He said “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty; I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation”. Now that is powerful! To live above every situation and not have them trouble us. How did he do that? He did just what Jesus has told us to do. Believe The Word! In the Word we find we are the winners. We have the victory! We are never to lose. We are healed, delivered, set free in Jesus’ Name. When we know who we are according to God’s Word and believe that regardless of what anyone else says, then we become all God said we are and we live above the circumstances. The Bible tells us that every thing has to bow its knee to the Name of Jesus. So when we believe that, and come in the Name of Jesus; guess what? We win. When we know we have already won all these things, we are never below the circumstance or troubled by the situations. We walk in the peace Jesus gave us. It does not matter what the world says, what people say, what the news says, what matter is what God says! Why? Because the Word of God is the only Truth we have. Everything is going to have to, line up with the Word if we believe it and stand on it. So, Paul said he learned that! He was always above all situations. In other words, he was always the victor because he had learned to believe the Word of God regardless of what his five senses told him. That’s his ears, eyes, nose, mouth, feeling. God’s Word was always Truth. Every thing else had to line up with what God had said. What a wonderful Book God has given to us. It gives us the victory in every area of life and tells us how it will come out. I like that! So why should I worry, fret, cry, get bent out of shape when I can believe what God has said and walk in that victory. The devil wants us to believe all the other things to hurt us. I refuse to believe him. I have made a choice to believe God and only Him. God’s Word is God speaking to us. I’ll believe the Bible above everything else and because of that, I’ll always win.

 

Father, I pray that all my friends will learn this secret and believe Your Word above everything else. For I know that as they do that, they too shall become winners in every area of life. They will not be moved by circumstances, words of people, the news, because they will have the Truth, Your Word and they will know the answers and walk in the victory. Thank You Father. I love You and I love them. Amen! Remember I am praying for you. Stand on God’s Word for it is the only Truth there is. See you all next week!

A Minister and a Taxi Driver

A minister dies and is waiting in line at the Pearly Gates. Ahead of him is a guy who's
dressed in sunglasses, a loud shirt, leather jacket, and jeans. Saint Peter addresses
this guy, "Who are you, so that I may know whether or not to admit you to the Kingdom
of Heaven?"  The guy replies, "I'm Joe Cohen, taxi-driver, of Noo Yawk City."

Saint Peter consults his list. He smiles and says to the taxi-driver, "Take this silken
robe and golden staff and enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

The taxi-driver goes into Heaven with his robe and staff, and it's the minister's turn.
He stands erect and booms out, "I am Joseph Snow, pastor of Saint Mary's for the last
forty-three years."

Saint Peter consults his list. He says to the minister, "Take this cotton robe and
wooden staff and enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

"Just a minute," says the minister. "That man was a taxi-driver and he gets a silken
robe and golden staff. How can this be?"

"Up here, we work by results," says Saint Peter. "While you preached, people slept;
while he drove, people prayed."

Complete this verse. "The fool hath said in his heart, There.... ..... ..."

OUR MIND, THE BATTLEFIELD

The Bible tells us that our mind is the battlefield of life. The devil places thoughts in our minds and we have to cast them down. We do not have to do everything we think about. Pastor once said, “Negative thoughts are like birds, you can’t keep them from flying around your head, but you can keep them from building a nest in your hair.” Paul the apostle told us to “cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). He tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. He tells us not to war in the flesh just because we walk in the flesh. Paul’s strength was in the weapons of God. He knew that the enemy, Satan, places thoughts into our mind. He knew that if we let them run around in our mind, we would lose the battle. Besides that, he also knew that the real battle was won in the spirit realm, but by fighting someone. So, if he wanted to win the battles, he had to cast down every thought and even imaginations that did not line up with what God’s Word said. He knew, that God’s Word was always the truth and not what he thought. The enemy can bring many thoughts to our minds. Thoughts that we are going to be sick or fail in school, or anything else. But when we know how the devil fights his battles, and that they are in our mind, we cast  thoughts down. Then we put in God’s Word concerning whatever it is needed for. Once we replace the bad thought with the Word of God, we see the victory and we know we have won. The enemy cannot defeat us! The enemy, however, wants us to think on the bad thoughts so we cannot win. That we lose!  But God says, No! Cast that thought down and replace it with what My Word says. God asks us, what does My Word say!! Once we know what God's Word says, we quickly see it's not what the devil said. We know the devil is a liar and never tells the whole truth. We make a choice to believe God’s Word and not the devil’s lies. The Bible says, the word sets us free. So as we cast down those thoughts from the devil, replace them with God’s word, we win the battle in our mind and because we win the battle in our mind, we walk in the victory that God has already given us. Wow! I like that! Now you know how to win the battles. Cast them down when the devil brings them as thoughts and replace it with God’s word. Speak God’s Word and walk in the victory God has for you!

Father, now we know that those bad, negative thoughts come from the devil. From now on we are going to cast them down in Jesus’ Name; and replace them with the Word of God. From now on, we are going to walk in the victory God has given us and we will not believe the lies the devil tries to place in our mind. We will cast them down like You told us to. We will never allow them to be a weapon against us anymore. We will arm ourselves with Your Word and walk in the victory you have for us. Thank You Father, in Jesus’ name. Now we can walk in the victory God has for us because we know the mind is the battlefield and when those thoughts come, we will cast them down and speak God’s word concerning the situations and win every battle from now on. Praise God!! I love all of you! I will be praying for you and I now you will cast down those bad thoughts and fill your minds with God’s Word. God; The Greatest Giver Ever!

God gave us His Son Jesus so that we could be saved, healed, delivered and set free in every area of our life. God gave the very best He had. They say, “He can give only according to His might; therefore He always gives more than we ask for.” In Philippians chapter 4, verse 19 in the AMP version we read these words, “God will liberally supply, fill to the full, your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Now that is powerful! God also said he would give to us “above and beyond all we ask for.”  God said, “before you ask, I will answer!” My, what promises! What love shown by our Father, God. He is always there to meet our every need. He knows them before we do, and answers before we ask. Kind of like our mothers and fathers. They make sure we have clothing, shoes, food and whatever else we might need, before we ever ask them. They take care of us!! Well, God also takes care of us! Psa. 23 says, “The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want!” Or we could say, “Have no needs not met.” God wants to meet our needs. Not only did He send Jesus to save us, but He is also making sure we have the things we need. The Bible says, “He watches over His Word to perform it!” God is watching over all that He has said in the Bible to make sure it all comes to pass. So, when He says He will do above all we ask, we can be sure He will do it. When we trust God to do as He has told us He would do, we can spend more time praying for other people and the things they might need; because we know our needs are already taken care of by God, because He has promised us that! Instead of asking Him for things, we start praising Him for what His Word says He has already given us. Our life becomes a life of praise and worshiping Almighty God: our Father!  He promises us that if we would lift Him up, He would bring people to us, so we could minister and pray for them; and that they could be saved or healed. But, we must know in our heart, God has promised to do this for us. It’s also wise to hide His Word in our hearts so we have His Word backing what we say. Why? Because He watches over His Word to do it. So if we are thanking Him and speaking His Word concerning things, He moves to answer us. The best part is, He always does far more then we ask. That’s the abundant life He has promised us! A life filled to overflowing will do all God says we are and can have. “Daily He loads me down with blessings” His Word says. Daily!! I can look forward everyday for God to do great and mighty things on my behalf. Why? Because His Word says He will and I believe His Word.

Father, I pray for all my friends that they may get Your Word in their hearts so they can walk in all the blessings You have already provided for them. That they can see and understand that You always do more for us then we ask. We just love you so much! Daily we want to thank You and praise You for all You have done and all You are going to do. Thank You for sending Jesus so we could be saved. We love You. Now Father meet every need my friends might have. Heal them, deliver them, protect them and supply all their needs, for I ask this in the Name of Jesus. Remember that I love all of you and I am praying for you. Believe God and His Word and watch as He gives you far more then you ask. I love you!!

Two Golfers

A young man who was also an avid golfer found himself with a few
hours to spare one afternoon. He figured if he hurried and played
very fast, he could get in 9 holes before he had to head home.

Just as he was about to tee off an old gentleman shuffled onto the
tee and asked if he could accompany the young man as he was golfing
alone.

Not being able to say no, he allowed the old gent to join him.

To his surprise the old man played fairly quickly. He didn't hit the
ball far, but plodded along consistently and didn't waste much time.

Finally, they reached the 9th fairway and the young man found
himself with a tough shot. There was a large pine tree right in
front of his ball, directly between the ball and the green.

After several minutes of debating how to hit the shot the old man
finally said, "You know, when I was your age I'd hit the ball right
over that tree."

With that challenge placed before him, the youngster swung hard, hit
the ball up, right smack into the top of the tree trunk and it
thudded back on the ground not a foot from where it had originally
lay.

The old man offered one more comment, "Of course, when I was your
age that pine tree was only 3 feet tall."

Father's Day!

When we think of Father's day, I not only think of my father, but I also think of my Heavenly Father. If it were not for our Heavenly Father, we would not have any earthly fathers. Everything started from our Heavenly Father who loved us so much, He made heaven and earth and everything else for our pleasure. Then He sent His Son Jesus, to pay the price so we could really become His children and go to heaven one day to be with Him. Now, this is love! Love far beyond our understanding at times, how He could love us so much as to give us everything we will ever need. Not only that, but He created us to come through our first parents, Adam and Eve. He set everything in place so we could have a life so wonderful we cannot even begin to realize just what it would of been like. Then, when Adam and Eve sinned, He already had a plan in effect to save us and deliver us out of the trap of Satan. He planned for our healing, our deliverance, our needs physically, mentally and finically. He supplies the very things we would ever have need of. All this because He loves us so much. Our earthly fathers can learn a lot about caring for us, by looking at all our Heavenly Father has done for us. He gave us our wisdom, knowledge, strength, power, anointing and everything else we have. He is always there to protect us and help us. Talk about love, now that is love! That's how God wants our fathers here on earth to live and supply for their children. They can if they follow God and allow Him to do the work. There is no good gift He will withhold from us. He is always there for us, even when we do wrong. He hates the wrong, but He love us. The devil wants to destroy us and hurt us and take from us; but our Father, God, will not let him if we put all our trust in Him (God). Talk about love and you have to talk about our Father God. He has set the plan for love. He has showed us how a father should be. God is our protector and I do not fear knowing He is always with me. I belong to Him and when we belong to Him, He makes a covenant with us and He watches over His Word to fulfill it. Yes, when Father's day comes, it makes us think about our earthly father, but also about our heavenly Father, God. I am so happy He is my heavenly Father. That I know Him and His love. His love will flow through me and touch others. He knows when I hurt or am down and He picks me up and loves me. Oh what a Heavenly Father we have. I hope everyone has a earthly father who is that good, but if not, you can have a heavenly Father that is. And if you do, you still can have a heavenly Father who is even better. So if you do not have a heavenly Father, why not ask Jesus in to your heart right now. As soon as you do, you have a heavenly Father and He forgives all your sins and from then on, He will take care of you!

Father, help my friends to see and know Your great love for them. Let them feel the love I feel for you. Let them walk in all the promises you have for them, just like I do. I prayer they may become one, just as we are one. Set them free from all bondage and lift them up to the place of sons and daughters of You, Father. I thank you for that! Remember that I love all of you and I am praying for you! Until next week, I will be here if you need me.

Do You Have Any Grapes?

A duck walked into a pharmacy He asked the pharmacist "Do you have any
grapes?"

"No, but the grocery store two blocks down sells grapes." he replied.

The next day, the same duck walked into the same pharmacy and asked "Do
you have any grapes?"

"No, two blocks down on the right." replied the pharmacist somewhat
annoyed.

The third day, the same duck walked back into the same pharmacy and asked
the same question.

This time the pharmacist said "We don't sell grapes here. You have asked
for grapes now for three days in a row. I have told you we don't sell them
here, this is a pharmacy not a grocery store. If you come back in here
tomorrow asking for grapes again, I am going to nail your little webbed
feet to the floor, NOW GET OUT OF HERE!"

The next day the same duck walks back into the same pharmacy, this time
with quite a bit of trepidation. He looked around and asked the pharmacist
"Do you have any nails?"

"No" replied the pharmacist.

"Well then... Do you have any grapes?"

UNBELIEF

In Romans chapter 4, verse 20, we read; “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in Faith, giving glory to God.” Unbelief! Just what does the mean? It's really a simple word, but yet a very sinful, bad thing to do. It is the opposite from Belief. It simply means to un-believe. In other words, it means to know something or to hear something and choose not to believe it. Usually, when used in the Bible, it means someone knew something, then the chose not to believe it. Many Christians hear the Word of God, the Bible, even being taught the Bible, choose not to believe it. They say they do, but when pressure comes, the chose to believe the pressure rather then believe the Word of God. This is what the Bible calls unbelief. It is far worse then doubt. Doubt is when we lack information on something and we have our doubts. But to un-believe what we have been taught, now that is something very different. Unbelief will not only cause us not to get the promise, or promises, it will rob us of full trust in God and His Word. If we lack trust in God and His Word, we might even miss going to heaven and end up in Hell. In this story, God had promised Abraham a son. Through wrong choices the time in which Abraham could have a child, had come and gone. So had the time for Sarah, his wife’s time came and gone. In the natural, there was not any way they could ever have a child of their own through natural means. Yet, the Bible tells us that Abraham did not stagger, or give up believing what God had said. This was God who told him it would happen. So he made a choice to believe God regardless of the circumstances. Did God create everything? Was He not God? So Abraham made a choice to believe God rather then the circumstance facing him. They were very strong circumstances and seem impossible for the promise to come to pass. Yet, Abraham made a choice that he was going to believe God and not walk in unbelief. And by walking in belief (faith), he received the promise God had given to him. The Bible said he was fully persuaded in his heart, that God's Word (promise) was true regardless of what everything else said. He stood strong on God’s Word; and because he did, he received the promise. He gave God all the glory. He said, circumstances, I believe God and give Him all the glory and His Word shall come to pass. Wow!! No wonder the Bible calls him the father of faith! We learn from this, that if we stand on God’s Word (promises), regardless of the circumstances around us or facing us, and settle in our heart that God is going to do what He says He will do, we will receive the promise regardless of the circumstances. I do not know about you, but I have made the choice to always believe God and not to walk un unbelief; regardless of what people, circumstances or anything else says. I will believe God and receive the promise or promises, God said were mine. I pray you will make that choice with me today and never walk in unbelief; but instead, walk in faith and believe God’s Word and get your promises. I love you and will be praying for you.

Campmeeting Thoughts

 

As you know, I am at camp meeting and the Spirit of God is moving in a powerful way. Every service it gets greater and greater. My sister just ministered for a hour in music and word. People came and fell under the power of God. God is so good! Every service people have been receiving what God has for them. My heart goes out to those who do not enter in. They are touched by God just like in the story in the Bible where the presence of God was there to heal. No one got healed. Four men had to carry a friend many miles on a cot to get to where Jesus was. They came believing, not just to sit there and watch. They carried their friend mile after mile. When they got there, the house was so full they could not get inside. And no one inside would move so they could receive what they came for. It's strange, how people can sit in the way, not wanting what God has for them, but they will not get out of the way, so some who wants to get what God has for them, to receive. These four men would not be turned away. They came to get a miracle for their friend. So they climbed up onto the roof and made a whole in the roof and lowered their friend down through that whole in front of Jesus and all those who filled the house but wanted nothing. When the man was in front of Jesus, He saw, their faith, and said, your sins are forgive. That really upset the people who had come for nothing. They wanted to know how He could say that. So He asked what was easier. To forgive his sins, or to heal him. But so they would finally believe, He said to the man, rise up and be healed. The man walked out of the house totally healed. But the sad part is, those who came to receive nothing, they did just that, even though they saw a miracle before their eyes. Jesus is doing many miracles and healings today. He is proving to all He is real and that He can forgive sins. But sad to say, some still come to receive nothing, not knowing the times is running out. When Jesus comes again, it will be too late. There is no second chance. Now is the day of salvation. Now is the day to receive your miracle or healing. Don't put it off until tomorrow, as tomorrow could be too late. Then what?

Father, I pray that all who read this will be healed, receive their miracle or receive You as their Lord. I love them and I know You love them too. I am praying for all of you. Remember that I love you. I am here if you need me. Until next week, walk in all His blessings!

THE JOY OF THE LORD

The joy of the Lord is our strength! Jesus has given us joy and as we walk in that joy, we receive the strength we need for life. The devil desires to take that joy away, because when we walk in the joy Jesus has given to us, the devil cannot steal from us. So the devil is always trying to steal that joy. When we see this and know this, we will not allow him to steal from us. We praise God and joy comes. We laugh in the spirit and joy comes. We stand firm in the Word and joy comes. When that joy comes, so does the strength of the Lord. Now, when we have the strength of the Lord, how can anything defeat us or get us down?  The problem is most Christians do not know the Word of God, or have been taught by others. We have those times when we are not joyful. We are down and discouraged. Yet, that is not what the Word of God teaches us. We have already won every battle that can come our way. We have already defeated every sickness that can come our way. Overcome every defeat. How can we not be happy and joyful? The only way is lack of knowledge. When we do not know the Word of God, and have it in our hearts, not just our head. We allow the devil and others to talk us into losing our joy. When we lose our joy, the devil steals from us. He causes more problems for us and we are sad, down and discouraged. Defeated! What a place for a child of God to be in. How can a winner lose what they have already won? By not knowing they have already won. Jesus paid the total price for our victory, for our sicknesses, our pain and we are winners and victors now. We never need to re-pay what He has already paid for. We do not need to learn by what we suffer. Jesus suffered for us, so we would not have to. Jesus said He came to give us life and that MORE ABUNDANTLY. Our life should be far better after we are saved then it was before we were saved. Yes, the devil will fight us, but the battle is the Lord’s not ours. If we will but thank God and praise Him for all He has done for us; we close all doors on the enemy and we walk in the victory Jesus has already given to us. I do not go through what some others go through, because I know what God’s Word says, and I stand on the Word and God gives me the victory every time. If I did not know this, or His Word, then the devil would rob and steal from me and I would sound like many Christians who are always crying over their troubles. I’ve learned that these troubles do not belong to me. Jesus set me free from them and I refuse to receive them. I walk in what the Bible says is Mine. God cannot lie, so His Word is true and if He has said it, then I can walk in it. It’s that easy! Oh the devil will fight, but when he sees that you believe the Word of God and cannot be moved off it, he will flee from you. Why not walk in the victories that Jesus has paid for you? Just learn who you are in Christ, believe it with all your heart, and refuse to be moved regardless of what anyone says; and your life will change and the joy of the Lord will fill your heart and you’ll never again lose that joy.

Jesus is Watching

A burglar broke into a house one night. He shone his flashlight
around, looking for valuables, and when he picked up a CD player to
place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark
saying, "Jesus is watching you".

He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off and
froze. When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head,
promised himself a vacation after the next big score, then clicked
the light back on and began searching more valuables. Just as he
pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a
bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you. " Totally rattled, he shone
his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice.
Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest
on a parrot.

"Did you say that?" He hissed at the parrot.

"Yes," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn
you. " The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who do you think you are
any way?"

"Moses," Replied the bird.

"Moses" the burglar laughed.

"What kind of stupid people would name a parrot 'Moses'?"

The bird promptly answered: "The same kind of people that would name
a Rottweiler 'Jesus'!

BEING ANOINTED WITH FRESH OIL

Psalm 92: tell us, “I shall be anointed with fresh oil.” Do not assume that your faith is always in top-notch shape! Rather, play it safe and assume that your faith always needs a fresh anointing. Yes, God has given to every one, a measure of faith to profet with. But we must make sure its level is always full. Now the Bible also tell us that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. We are kind of like a car in a way. Our car will go as long as we have gas in the tank. But if the gas in the tank runs out, the car will no longer go. So our job is to keep the gas in the tank that the car will always be ready to go when it is needed. The same is true when it come to faith. God gave us faith so we could please Him. We find out that we can get more faith by hearing the Word of God. Or, I say, reading God’s Word out loud so I can hear it. As I read the Word of God out loud, I build my faith supply. The more I build my faith supply, the more power I have and the more things I can do for God. When God calls upon me to do some thing, I can because I have faith. Now, the Psalmist also told us that God shall anoint us. The anointing is very important. We need to be anointed in order to do as God says. Without the anointing, we have nothing. Kind of like when Samson stood up and shook himself like times before when the enemy came against him and he would defeat them. But on this day, he shook himself but there was no anointing. He had the faith we could say, but no anointing to carry out the job. He failed because he did not have any anointing! So from this, we can see that faith is very important, but faith without the anointing will not work as it should. Samson was defeated and taken captive by his enemies because there was no anointing there. God’s anointing is very important. When He calls us to do a job, He gives us an anointing to do that job. We move out in faith, because we know we have it because we have spent time in God’s Word building it stronger and stronger! The anointing and faith go together like gloves on your hands. They fit perfectly together as one. Neither works just the way God wants it to work without the other so faith and the anointing must work together. So, when God sees our faithfulness in reading His Word and building our faith, He anoints us for some job, that He desires for us to do. Each job requires a fresh anointing, and God said He shall anoint us with a fresh anointing. Our faith tells us that and we believe it, so the anointing comes and we are ready for whatever God calls us to do. The anointing is God's responsibility. Only God can give the anointing, not man. Our job is building our faith so we are ready when God gives us that anointing and a job to carry out. We never fail because we have enough faith to do the job; and God has given us the fresh anointing to carry it out. Wow!! It sounds hard, but when we see that our job is reading God’s Word so we build our faith stronger and stronger, it becomes easier and easier. God is the one who gives the fresh anointing. So God sees our faith and gives us a fresh anointing so we can do His work.

Are you reading your Bible out loud so you can hear the Word of God, so your faith will grow? If so, God will anoint you with a fresh anointing so you can carry out the work He has for you. Father, I pray that all my friends will spend time reading your Word out loud so their faith will grow and grow. For I know, that as their faith grows, you will see it and anoint them with a work to do; and if you anoint them, the work shall be done. Thank you for that. I love all of you!! Pastor Norton

The Reverend Francis Norton woke up Sunday morning and realizing it was an
exceptionally beautiful and sunny early spring day, decided he just had to play golf. 

So... he told the Associate Pastor that he was feeling sick and
convinced him to say Mass for him that day. As soon as the Associate Pastor left the room, Father Norton headed out of town to a golf course about forty miles away. This way he knew he wouldn't accidentally meet anyone he knew from his parish.

Setting up on the first tee, he was alone. After all, it
was Sunday morning and everyone else was in church!

At about this time, Saint Peter leaned over to the Lord
while looking down from the heavens and exclaimed, "You're not going to let him get away with this, are you?" The Lord sighed, and said, "No, I guess not."

Just then Father Norton hit the ball and it shot straight
towards the pin, dropping just short of it, rolled up and fell into the
hole. IT WAS A 420-YARD HOLE IN ONE! St. Peter was astonished.
He looked at the Lord and asked, "Why did you let him do that?"

The Lord smiled and replied, "Who's he going to tell?"

Losing Is Impossible!

 

Most Christians need to learn that failure is never final, so if you do not succeed the first time, keep on trying. God said. "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus". We may losing a round but we never lose the battle because God has already given us the victory. If you have ever watch a prize fight, when two people are boxing, at times one might lose a round or two, but win the fight. We are in a warfare with the enemy. He is always fighting us and trying to stop us from doing what God has called us to do. But when we understand what the Bible teaches us, the battle really belongs to God. God fights our battles for us. As a matter of fact, Jesus fought the whole battle and gave us the victory. So we've already won! The enemy tries to make us think we have lost, but we have not. It is impossible for us to lose! What we have to do is keep pressing forward. Keep going forward just like God has told us to do. When we were first learning to walk, we fell at first more than we walked. But our parents would helped us back up and encouraged us to walk. It was not long and we were walking. Not only that, but we could run, jump or even hop. Just because we fell at first did not mean we had lost and never would be able to walk. No!! It was just a small mountain to overcome. Jesus told us that if we had faith as small as a seed of mustard, we could remove the mountains. God gave each of us a measure of faith. So we have the faith. What we must do is apply that faith and remove the mountain that is standing in our way. Removing it is easy when we know how. First of all, Jesus fought that battle for us and we have already won it. So we find the scripture that tell us we have the victory, confess it until it gets from our head to our heart. Speak the Word of God and God instantly moves on our behalf and He, God, brings the victory to us. Learn the Word of God is the key! The more of the Word of God we know, the more of the victories Jesus has already given to us, we can walk in. They are already ours. So if it seems like we lost a battle, we just go to God's Word, find the answer and come back and defeat the devil with God's Word. The battle is the Lord's! I am so glad that God has already given us the victory. Knowing that, I can turn any situation around by the Word of God and have the victory already give to me. God's Word promises all things will work together for good. God turns the bad around and makes it good. Wow! God sure does love us! Jesus is always on our side and has fought the battles already for us, so we can always win. So don't except defeat! Turn that around into victory. Keep pressing toward the goal, for the prize. You don't get the prize unless you win. God has made us winners. Go after that prize because Jesus has already given it to you. The devil will try to tell you, that you have lost, but that's not true. You are a winner and there is no such thing as losing in God's Word. We always win. So keep going until you get that victory just like you did when you were first learning to walk, or talk or math in school. Press into the fullness of all God has for you, because you are a winner, not a loser, We don't lose, we always win if we keep pressing forward until we have the victory and it is ours.

Father, help them right now to see we always win and never lose. You have given us the victory in Jesus Christ our Lord. Lord Jesus, you paid the price so we can always win. Teach us to walk in that victory. We love and thank you. Remember that I love all of you. If you need me, come on the chat or email me and I will do all I can to help you. God, Are You Listening?


A man was walking through a forest pondering life. He walked,
pondered, walked, and pondered. He felt very close to nature
and even close to God. He felt so close to God that he felt if
he spoke God would listen.
So he asked, "God, are you listening?"

And God replied, "Yes my son, I am here."

The man stopped and pondered some more.

He looked towards the sky and said, "God, what is a million years to you?"

God replied, "Well my son, a second to me is like a million years to you."

So the man continued to walk and to ponder... walk and ponder...
Then he looked to the sky again and said, "God, what is a million
dollars to you?"

And God replied, "My son, my son...a penny to me is like a million
dollars to you. It means almost nothing to me. It does not even have
a value it is so little."

The man looked down, pondered a bit and then looked up to the sky
and said, "God, can I have a million dollars?"

SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS FROM GOD

I love reading Ephesians, as it is our Book of victory in our walk here on earth. It has so much in it, we just feel like it is Thanksgiving and we have stuffed ourselves with all the good things God has set on the table for us. Listen to these wonderful words: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath (means already taken place) blessed us with all spiritual blessings.” WOW!! Did you see what God said here? He has blessed us with ALL SPIRITUAL blessings! That means we do not need any more, as we already have them. But, you say, how come we don’t have them. That’s easy! Hosea 4:6 tells us why. Lack of knowledge! We do not know what God has given to us, so we keep asking for things we already have. We never grow beyond that place. We are always lacking, yet we have it. It’s kind of like the old farmer who cannot remember what he has and what he does not have. If he knew every thing he had, he would not go out and buy and spend money for what he already has. Here God says, I have given you every spiritual blessing you have need of” Our part is learning how to use them. Your dad could give you a car today, but it would not do you a lot of good because you probably do not know how to drive and do not have a drivers license.

So, until you learn how to drive and can do it legally, it’s of little use to you. But, when you learn how to drive, and can pass your test to get a license, then you can drive anywhere you want. You will have to learn how to go different places, but you can do it. The same is true with God’s Word. When we learn what is ours and how to use it, then we can do all God has told us we could do, as He has already blessed us with every spiritual gift. He tells us that in this very section of this word.   He tells us, the faithful shall be blessed more than others. Who are the faithful? Those are the ones who pressing in and learning His Word so they are equipped with the heavenly knowledge and wisdom to carry out that work. Paul told Timothy to study to show himself approved to God. He also told him to share this with those who would be faithful and carry it to others who would do the same thing. Wow! We have a big job to do. God desires for us to learn His Word so we know what is ours and how to use it, so we can teach others to do the same thing. If we do that, God calls us faithful! I do not know any words more important then that. I want to be called faithful by God. I want to hear God say, “Well done My good and faithful servant.” How about you? Then all you have to do is study God’s Word until you know what He has given unto you and how to use it the way He wants you to use it. He has already given you all the spiritual gifts you have need of to carry this out. The one thing lacking is for use to study His Word until we know it and are ready to be use. I love that! Notice our spiritual birthrights (v.3). “Hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings.” What more could we ask. Who says we cannot do it. Yes we can! Because God has already equipped us with all the spiritual gifts we need.

 

Father, I thank You for blessing me with all the spiritual blessings I will ever have need of. I also thank You that You have blessed all my friends with all the spiritual blessings they will ever need. I pray that we will now go out and do all the things You told us we could do. Thank You for that. How can we lose when You have already done all the work for us. Thank You!! We love You! Now bless my friends and keep them safe from the evil one. I love them! God’s Grace

My future husband and I have been studying the Book of Ephesians. I just love that Book as it reveals to us all we are and all we shall ever be and how to live in total victory all the time. I know that sounds hard, but once we truly understand God’s Word, we quickly see how easy it is. In the First chapter verse 8, we learn one of the greatest truths in the Bible. We learn about God’s grace and just what it is. My pastor has taught on this and me and Randy just read it a few days ago. What is God’s grace? The best definition of grace I have ever found, is in this verse. I have heard and used all the standard definitions such as “unmerited favor”, and “God’s riches at Christ’s expense.” Now, that’s a very good one. But, this verse really reveals to us what God’s grace really is. Here is God’s definition of grace! Grace at its simplest is, God abounding toward us. Just what is that you ask and what does it mean?  It means God does everything; man simply receives what God has already done. Did you catch what the Bible just said? God does everything; we just receive what God has already done. Everything we ever have need of, or will ever have need of; in our spiritual life or our natural life, existed in this life and through eternity for us by this grace from God to us. Not only does He give us natural and spiritual blessings, He also gives us the ability to flow in the supernatural. He has also given us the faith we need to receive this. Wow! Now that is God’s grace! He gives everything to us, before we even know Him and while we were yet enemies of Him. He made sure we would have everything when we excepted Him as God and Lord of our life. This is grace! He gives us wisdom and prudence (good sense). Both of these are attributes of the spirit-filled and Word-filled life. Now you are seeing what grace really is. We cannot work to get it. We cannot be good enough to get it. Just because our parents have it, does not mean we have it! We can have it by receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord. It is there for us when we do that.  But grace only comes from God. God gave His grace so we could be all He says we are. Jesus came to die for our sins because of this grace. Grace and love go together like a hand and fingers on that hand. So now, verse 8 says, “Wherein (in grace) He (God) hath (past tense, or already done) abounded toward us.” That word abounded in the Greek means “came to us, or was giving to us”. This is a past participle of abound; to be abundantly stocked or provided for. Very well taken care of with always more than enough. That’s God’s grace and it cannot be exhausted no matter how much it is used or how many use it. It’s more than enough!! That's why God could tell us, His grace is more than sufficient for us (2 Cor. 12:9).

 If every body in the whole world use it at the same time, there would still be enough grace left over for a 1,000 times that many and still more. That’s God grace! That is what God Himself gave to us! This is how much He loved us! He gave us everything we will ever have a need of, both here on earth and in the life yet to come.

I hope you understand God’s grace more now and that you know you already have everything you have need of. I hope you now apply your faith and receive those things already give to us by God. He loved us so much, He gave them to us, so we could be all He says we are. Now that is Grace and love! Father, in Jesus name please help them to see this wonderful gift of grace already give to us. Help them to walk in the fullness of it. We love you and we thank you for all you have done for us. Truly, You are our Father and we love You. Jesus, thank You!! We love you and are so glad You are our Lord. We ask all these things in You Name. Remember, if you need something, just come on the chat or email me. I will be praying for you and I do love you!

Asking From God

Often, when we think of prayer or asking God for something, we wonder if we have been good enough. Are we asking right, or will He even hear us because we are little? Does He only hear adults, or ministers? At times, it is very confusing as just what to do. Our teaching from the world says we only get things if we have been good enough. Otherwise, we do not get anything. So when we come to God’s Word and He tells us to ask Him and He will do it, we do not know just how to do that. Let me help you know how to do it. It’s really easy!  God has decreed to act in response to prayer. “Ask”, He commands us. And if we do, Satan trembles with fear. It is Satan who brought the wrong teaching into this world about prayer. Satan does not want us to pray or ask God for anything. Because when we do, we quickly learn how much God loves us. We learn we can defeat Satan through our prayers. So Satan fears the thought of us learning how to pray and get what we have need of. But, in Matthew 21:22 the Living Bible says, “You can get anything---anything you ask for in prayer if you believe.” Do you hear what God said there? He said we could get anything we asked in prayer if we believed it. No wonder the devil does not want us to believe in prayer or God answering prayer. Did you also see that there were no conditions placed with praying here? God said, ask me anything and I will do it as long as you believe I will do it. That’s all we have to do! Yes, God always wants us to be good and live like Jesus did, but He also loves us and wants to bless us in ever area of life. So He tells us to ask Him and believe and He will do it. Now that is not hard is it? No! God has made it real easy for us. He said, ask Me and believe and I will do it. Our part is believing! Do you know what decreed means? It is a very powerful word. A participle of decree: to promulgate expressly something to be followed, observed, obeyed, or accepted. That means God said with all His authority, I’ve told them to ask of me, and I will answer whatever they ask. So, not only did He command us to ask of Him, but He also told the whole world, He was going to answer us if we asked and believed. Now that makes it much easier. That word promulgate means to make known openly or publicly so everyone knows. It is kind of like making a law that has to be kept. God has said, if they ask Me and believe I will do it, I will. That sure is powerful. God, Almighty God, made that law! Man tries to put all kinds of conditions on it, but God’s Word is always true and will do what He has sent it forth to do. So if we will ask Him, and believe He has promised to do, we will receive whatever we ask. I am so glad I found that out! Now I go to my Father (God) and I ask Him whatever I desire, and I believe Him because He cannot lie and He brings it to pass. I hope you will start doing that now!

 

Father, please help them see this wonderful truth from Your Word. Holy Spirit, make it real to their hearts so they too can ask and receive. I love them Father and I want them to be all You have said they could be. Thank you Father for I ask this in Jesus name just like You told me too. Now, you do the same!  Let's Go Fishing

(Luke 5:5-9)

Today, we are going to think about going fishing on a charter boat, and how it's like what the Bible teaches us about fishing for souls. Are you ready to go on the trip with me? Ok, here we go! Now on a fishing boat for hire, the captain of the boat always furnishes the fishing pole and all the bate, just like Jesus does for us. For in God's Word, it furnishes us with our fishing pole and bate. The captain of the boat also takes us to where the fish are, so that we don't have to guess. If we allow the Holy Spirit, He will always lead us to those who are hungry. One thing we will learn first, the captain will tell us whoever gets a fish, to yell "Fish On!" You may wonder, "why?" With all those poles in the water on one ship, we have to watch out and make sure we don't interfere with someone catching a fish. Biblically this would tell us that when someone yells fish on or we know they have a fish on, we should go to prayer for them, and kind of stay out of the way, so they can land their fish. Another good thing on a fishing boat, they have a man who puts our bate on, helps land the fish, and cleans the fish for us. Isn't this just like Jesus? He shows what bate to us so we can catch the fish, He's the one who helps us land the fish, and He is also the one who cleans the fish. If we try to clean the fish, we could mess up, so we allow the Word of God to do the cleaning for us. Now in Luke, the 5th chapter verse 5-9, we learn five important keys we need to know if we are going to fish and be successful. 1. Perseverance: sometimes it takes minutes, hours or all day long to catch a fish. We will find this true in our life, but if we persevere, keep pressing in, we will catch that fish. So we have to spend lots of time in prayer praying for that fish. 2. Obedience to the Lord's leading: In this verse Jesus told them exactly where to fish. The Holy Spirit is our guide, and if we allow Him He will tell us exactly where to fish. Notice Peter said to Jesus, "at thy Word I will let down the net" So we need to do it according to the direction that Jesus gives to us. We might want to get Tommy saved first but Jesus might say, no, Mary first. Therefore we will obey and catch Mary first. 3. It's always a Corporate effort: A body ministry. So when we are fishing for someone it is very wise for us to ask others to pray for them too. Together, we will win that soul. 4. One of the greatest pleasures of fishing is when we put our faith into action and to expect an occasional large harvest. We see that the net was so full of fish that they had to get help landing the fish. We will catch a lot of small harvest, one fish, but if we are believing with our heart and expecting God to give us a large harvest, we could catch five or ten fish at a time. Oh, what a Joy that would be! 5. Also remember, sometimes the catch is on the other side of the boat: That is a change in the method or strategy we use. Sometimes we catch fish on worms, and when they are not biting on worms, we use bugs, and if they are not biting on bugs, we use lures or something else. So don't get in a rut, and not listen to God, and just because you caught a fish on worms, keep fishing with worms. He just might want us to do it a different way this time. Always stay open.

Let's look at these points again:

1. Christian perseverance in fishing.

2. We need to hear specifically where God wants us to fish.

3. Remember, it's a body ministry and we need to ask others to pray with us for our catch.

4. Build our faith and expect for large catches of souls. If we expect large catches, God will give us large catches.

5. Be willing to be open and flexible to the Lord leading you in different ways on how to catch fish.

I trust that this will help you become a great fishermen of souls. Father, we love you so much, and we know that you want us to be fishermen of men. We know it's your plan, therefore we also know, if we follow the directions that you have given to us, we will catch fish. Names will be added to the Kingdom of God. Thank you so much for this. I pray that all my friends will become great fishermen; that they shall win many souls and their lives will be filled with great joy. I love you all!! and I'll be here if you need anything. Night Time Golfing

One day as Tiger Woods, was having coffee, he met a blind man, who claimed to be the worlds greatest golfer. Tiger said to him, " I hear you play golf"

"Yes," the blind man said, "And I never been beaten."

"But your blind" Tiger said, "How can you play golf"

"It's easy" the blind man said, "I just send my caddy, to wherever I'm suppose to hit the ball; he yells, I listen, and I hit the ball to wherever the sound comes from. And, I've never been beaten."

"Oh, yeah", said Tiger, "How would you like to play me?"

The Blind man thought a moment and replied "Ok, just name me a Night"

The Bride

Saturday the 26 is my wedding day. I am so excited and filled so much with love. My bridegroom will come and take me to be his wife forever and ever. It reminds me that one day soon now, Jesus, our Bridegroom will be coming for His Bride, the Church. That too will be a very special day just like Saturday will be for me too. We will be dressed all in white (spiritually) without spot or blemish. We will look so beautiful and every eye will be on us. We will have special music, just like when Jesus comes. The trumpet will sound and we will be changed the Bible says. We also have banquets after the wedding, just like we do when we get to Heaven. Plus, God the Father will give us rewards; just like we get gifts at a wedding here on earth. God has everything ready for us. He loves us so much and so does Jesus. Jesus has waited a long time for His Bride. My husband to be has waited 19 years for me. We both prayed and sought God for our perfect mates He has created just for each other. Now we shall become one just like Christ is to the Church. Just before Jesus went to the Cross and Heaven, He prayed that we would be one just as Him and His Father were One. That oneness is so important. We are one in Christ and He is one with us. All He is we are and all He has is ours. Oh what perfect love! Because of the Bible and my love for God, I’ve always wanted my wedding in a big tent. Yesterday they set my tent up and we will get it all ready for the wedding. Do you realize that your body is the tent of God? and that you are getting your Body ready for Jesus here and now on earth? Well, it is and you are!  In my wedding we will have two candles already lit. Our lives were already lit before we met each other. We both knew Jesus Christ and He was our Lord. But just like our Christian life, we cannot do our own thing and go our own way. We had to become one with Jesus and walk the way His Word tells us. We will take these two candles and light a bigger candle in the middle of the two, because Christ is our middle, light the big candle and blow out the two smaller ones, tell all we are now One. We will always be there for each other just as Christ is always there for us! We no longer will live just for ourselves, but will live for the other person, both being One. I bet you did not know a wedding could mean all this. Have you starting asking God for your perfect mate? That is very important. If we choose, we could be wrong; but if God makes the choice, we will never be wrong. Having our perfect mate is very important. Together, we both can grow and live for Jesus. We will now pray together, read our Bibles together and go to church together. The Bible says one can put a 1000 to flight; but two can put 10,000 to flight. It also says that if any two (that’s us) shall agree upon anything, it shall be done. Oh what power comes when two people become one in Jesus. My prayer is that you are always one with Jesus. I want to be one with you in this ministry. I always want to be here for you, because I love you. I am here for you! If you need anything, please come chat or write. I will be gone all of next week on our honeymoon, but I will be praying for you. But, something good is now going to happen! You will now have two of us praying for you! Wow!! That means everything will be twice as good as it has been. Remember that I love you. Until we get together again, have a great day and walk in the love of Jesus.

No Arbitration!

Arbitration sounds like a big word; yet it is not. It means to settle a dispute. We do not need to settle any disputes! God’s Word is finale and it is settle forever and ever. The devil wants us to think we have to compromise, except something less or just forget it. But that is not true! That is a lie of the devil! God said His Word was settled forever in Heaven. We do not need any arbitration what so ever. Lester Sumrall once said, “Faith accepts no compromise. Faith knows no arbitration. Faith knows only superb fulfillment.” When we know this truth, we do not have to settle for anything less then what God said we could have! In Ephesians we learn that everything was settle in Heaven before the foundations of this universe was formed. God made His plan, Jesus showed us His plan, and the Holy Spirit executed it or carried it out so, before anything existed, God made His plans and signed and sealed them. They were forever settled in Heaven. It was after this that Satan fell! So, Satan tries to get us to compromise, or settle for some arbitration on what God has already said was ours. He tries to steal, rob or kill us. He wants us to follow his arbitrations and become defeated. But, when we know God’s Word, we do not receive arbitrations of any kind. Why settle for less when we can have the best? God gave us everything we have need of in this life and the life to come. Jesus paid the price for this in His blood and gave it all to us free. Rightfully, it belongs to us! Satan is the stealer! He banks on us not knowing what the Word of God says, then he gets us to arbitrate with him for something far less and even death. He did that to Eve and she lead Adam to follow her. Jesus had to come, buy it all back, so we could once again be all God pre-created us to be. So, why should we arbitrate or enter into arbitration with the devil. Just who is he anyways. He is a defeated foe. We are the winners. We have the power and authority over everything. We have God’s Word already settled in Heaven for all of eternity. It is finished! So we do not do arbitrations at all. We stand fast on God’s Word; we refuse to compromise even the smallest issues. We know we have what God says we have and we refuse to allow anyone, even Satan to steal from us what belongs to us. No arbitrations here!! None! I don’t have to! I don’t want to! And I am not going to do it! Instead; I will stand on God’s Word, refuse to compromise or be moved and I will receive what God already has said is mine. Now that is powerful! You too do not need any arbitration! You have God’s Word! Stand on it and refuse to compromise it in any way matter or form. God cannot lie, so He will move on your behalf and bring you the victory every time. Do not believe the lies of the devil. Tell him no to arbitration! Tell him you do not do arbitration in any form. God has signed and sealed your agreement and you do not want to change anything God has give you. That’s how we win! That’s how we have the victory. 

Father, bless my friends and meet either every need. Heal, deliver and set them free to be all You want. Thank you Father! I love all of you and am glad to be back! If you need me, just write or come and chat! Until next week, remember I love you and I am praying for you.

Good Morning!

A sweet little boy surprised his grandmother one morning and brought her a cup of coffee. He made it himself and was so proud. 

He anxiously waited to hear the verdict on the quality of the coffee. The grandmother had never in her life had such a bad cup of coffee, and as she forced down the last sip she noticed three of those little green army guys in the bottom of the cup.

She asked, "Honey, why would three little green army guys be in the
bottom of my cup?"

Her grandson replied, "You know grandma, it's like on TV, The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup."

THE POWER OF GOD IN US

Have you ever considered the power of God that is in us? When I was younger, I use to lay there and think about the power of Almighty God and how that power was in me. I could do anything in the world. Nothing could ever stop me as long as it was God’s will. I could preach to my dolls, and lay hands on them and prayed they received their miracles or healing. As I grew older, I knew in my heart this was all true! The more I read God’s Word, the more I knew that nothing was impossible for me, because I believed what God’s Word said. Kathryn Kuhlman said, “The greatest power that God has given to an individual is the power of prayer.” We can pray for someone in Africa and never leave America and they can be healed, receive a miracle or any need they might have. Prayer is so powerful it can change the course of the world. Stop tornadoes or hurricanes. Make the lame walk and the blind see. If you live in a unsaved family and know God, you can change that family into an on fire Christian family by your prayers. We can do anything we desire by praying. Our prayers have to be in line with God’s Word, but they will come to pass because Jesus said they would. Our prayers are very powerful! The great apostle Smith Wigglesworth said, “I can get more out of God by believing Him for one second than by shouting at Him all night” In other words, when we believe God, we just ask. When we are not sure about it, we usually shout. The shouting does not do much! Just like in real life. Shouting does not help, but usually hinders what we really want. But prayer, we can whisper it softy to God, where no one even hears us, and God hears us and He answers our prayers. Matthew said, “And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith, and really believing, you will receive” (Matt. 21:22 AMP). We do not even need a light on to pray and have God hear us. We can be in the nosiest place in the world and only whisper and God hears and answers. Prayer, oh what a powerful weapon God gave to us! He gave us the authority to use His Name and told us to use it in prayer. Prayer is asking! We talk to God our Father just like we would talk to someone real close to us. But we must also know He hears us and that He will do what we ask (1 John 5:14-15. “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will (that’s the Bible or Word) He heareth us; and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions (answers) that we desired (asked) of Him.”. How much clearer could these verses be? Do you know God hears you? Are you asking according to His Word? Do you know this? If you answered yes, then God says you will have what you asked for. That’s the power of prayer! We can ask, and He hears us and we receive! Wow! 

Father, I ask that you meet all the needs of my friends that read this. I ask you to touch them and heal them if need be. To bless and keep them. To fill them with Your love. Thank you Father!! Healing

 

Have you ever thought how God keeps you healthy and you do not get all the sicknesses others get?  Healing is a big part of our salvation. It's the bread of the children! He told us in the Old Testament He was the God that healed us. And twice He told us we were healed by the strips of Jesus. Healing and defeating the devil was a main part of Jesus' ministry. He healed people everywhere He went. Blind eyes were opened. The deaf heard; and the dumb spoke. He raise the dead, caused the lame to walk. Over and over God showed to us that healing does belong to the Children of God. Once when they challenged Him about healing on the Sabbath, He told them this was a daughter of Abraham and she ought to be healed! Jesus has paid the total price for all sicknesses. We should never pay that price! Yet, sometimes because we do not know that, sickness comes. Then God heals us as quick as we ask Him. The devil is always trying to lay sickness on us because he wants to prove that God's Word is not true. So he fights us and comes with sicknesses; but we do not need to receive them. We can say "No!" and speak God's Word concerning healing and walk in that healing. Many churches, sad to say, teach that we should go to the doctors, that God uses doctors to heal us. But that is not true! Doctors cannot heal. They will even tell you that. When the gallbladder is not working like it should be, they remove it. That's not healing! God can and will heal it for you if you believe. Doctors cannot heal the eyes, they give you glasses. God heals the eyes and you do not need glasses. Doctors cannot heal the ear that cannot hear, they give you a hearing aid. God can heal that ear. Doctors help remover pain, and make ways for us to get by, but only God can heal. God sent Jesus to pay the price for our healing so we could walk in divine health. We can ask for healing anything we believe we need it; but its much better to thank God everyday for healing us and never get sick. When sicknesses come, they bi-pass your house because the devil knows you would never receive that and he cannot put it on you. Do you praise and thank God everyday for your healing? Do you speak the Word of God concerning this? If you do, then you are walking in the victory Jesus has already given to you. I am going to pray for all my friends and their friends who might be sick. 

 Father, in Jesus name I command healing to flow and touch all who are sick and tormented by the devil/ Satan, you take your hands off them! Demons, you flee right now and take that sickness with you. Healing flow through this body right now, in Jesus name. Father, I thank you that my friends and their friends are healed according to Your Word. Thank You for this! Please write of come on the chat and let me know what God has healed you from. I know He will!! I love all of you. I will be here if you need me. Until next week, walk in God's love.

Oops!
A police officer in a small town stopped a motorist who was
speeding down Main Street.

"But officer," the man began, "I can explain..."

"Just be quiet," snapped the officer. "I'm going to let you cool
your heels in jail until the chief gets back."

"But, officer, I just wanted to say...,"

"And I said to keep quiet! You're going to jail!"

A few hours later the officer looked in on his prisoner and
said, "Lucky for you that the chief's at his daughter's
wedding. He'll be in a good mood when he gets back."

"Don't count on it," answered the fellow in the cell.

God’s Overflowing Power

In order to overflow in God’s power, we have to check our thinking out. You’ve got to look at your thinking and what influences your thinking, because everything that’s going on in your life can be traced back to how you think. I am not talking about bad things that come because of the devil using someone to treat us bad. God has a place where we can walk in the fullness of His prosperity to us. I believe with all my heart that God wants us to prosper. In fact, I believe that prosperity is an expression of God’s love to us. He gave us Jesus didn’t He? Along with that came eternal life, healing, deliverance, joy, and hope. So you can see I am not just talking about money, although, money is a part of prospering,  it is a lot more than just money. God wants us to prosper in our spirit, soul, emotions, surroundings, land, and physically. He wants us to prosper in our anointing, relationship, marriages and jobs. He wants us to excel in school and play. He wants us to excel toward all Him and all His promises. Reading God’s Word is vitally important to us. The main reason for reading God’s Word is because it will govern your thinking. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he! If you were to take a computer course, you would quickly learn, garbage in, garbage out. In other words, what you feed into it, comes out of it. Our mind is like that! Our mind feeds our heart or spirit man. The Bible shows you what type of mindset you should have. When we think on God’s Word, we are prosperity thinking. In 3 John we read, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou would prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” The prosperity of your life is based on the prosperity of your soul, that is, your mind, will, emotions. You will become as you think (Prov.23:7). The Word of God will lead you to start thinking thoughts that are in line with the Word. And thinking in line with the Word will produce the right thoughts to come out of our mouth and it will also cause our emotions to line up with God’s Word. It's extremely important that we understand how to govern ourselves and take charge of our emotions because how we feel will also determine the decisions we make. Life is a series of decisions! The type of character you develop will determine your destination in life. Your decisions will determine your actions. Your actions cause the increase or decrease in your life. Faith without works is dead. The habits you make in your life will produce your character. Character is what people have come to expect from you. Your character will determine your destination. Now God says our destination should be very successful, if we abide in His Word. In other words, God wants to prosper us in every area of our life. Living and abiding in God’s Word, determines our prosperity. I don’t know about you, but I am going to live in God’s Word. I want to be all God said I could be. I want to prosper and be in health because my soul has prospered! 

Father, help all my friends as they read this to come into all the prosperity Your Word says belongs to them. Teach them to walk in total prosperity even as You are prosperous. Father, bless and heal them. Fill them with Your love, Your wisdom and knowledge. I love all of you and I am praying for you. Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he......."

 

The Bicycle Rider

A man was attempting to ride his bicycle from Phoenix to the
Grand Canyon. He made it across the desert without incident,
but when he reached the mountains, the steep grade wore
him down. So, he decides to hitchhike.

Some time later, a car approaches and offers the cyclist a ride,
but admits, "Your bicycle won't fit in the car." So, he opens his
trunk and takes out a piece of rope. Then, he ties one end of
the rope to the bicycle and the other end to his bumper.
"You've got a horn on your bike... If I go too fast, honk your
horn and I'll slow down."

This scheme worked well for several miles, until another car
zooms past. Not to be outdone, the man takes off in pursuit
with the bicycle in tow.

Both cars fly through a speed zone and an trooper's radar
gun clocks them traveling at 120 mph. The trooper radios
ahead to another officer and says, "You've got two vehicles
headed your way and they're both doing over 120 mph."

"10-4 good buddy," replies the fellow trooper.

The first trooper hesitates a moment, then adds, "And, you're
not going to believe this... there's a guy following on a bicycle
and he's honking to pass!"

Are You Saying What God Said?

According to the Bible, faith-filled words will work for anybody who will put them to work. Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” Then He goes on and shows us a picture of how to remove a mountain. Can you picture yourself moving a mountain with just words? Have you ever seen a mountain? Not in a picture or TV show, but a real mountain? Maybe one with snow on its top! They are so big. If you are going someplace by car, often you see them hours away down the road. They look so big and the closer you get to them, the bigger they get. Just like in our own lives. Mountains can be awful big. Sometimes even look and feel impossible you would never believe you could move them with just words. Life’s problem sometimes seems that way. Huge! Yet, here Jesus teaches us, that we can move that mountain just by speaking God’s Word (Mk. 11:22-23). How could that be and why is that? It’s because faith-filled words release the creative power of God that’s residing within you. That’s if you have put the Word of God in your heart, not just your mind. What do you mean, you say. Well words in our mind have not really been learned or stored up in our heart. We could forget them 30 minutes from now. But when we put those words in our heart where we believe them, then they are always there to speak out and do what they were stored up to do. Those faith-filled Words stored up in our heart will cause the things we speak to come to pass. We must believe them and when we do, they will come out of our heart, through our mouth and bring to us the things they were sent for. When your mom or dad sends you to the store for bread and milk, what do you get? Bread and milk! If the man or woman working in the store asks what you want, you do not say gum or candy. Because you know in your heart your mom or dad wants bread and milk. God has sent us to the store in a sense. We are to do His work here on earth until He comes. If we are doing that work, we speak His words concerning everything. Why? Well, because they are in our heart and we believe His Words. We know He watches over His Word to perform it. We know our words or thinking will not get the job done, so we speak His Word because that always works; even if it is a mountain. The mountain has to move!  Hebrews 3:1 proves this. It says Jesus has been appointed and anointed to see to it that when we declare His Word, to make sure it comes to pass. He is the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, or what we say.  The problem is, many of us have been fouling things us by filling our mouths with stuff Jesus never said. It's like bringing back home, candy and gum when we were sent for bread and milk. The candy and gum will not do the good our life needs like bread and milk. So we get bad things instead of good things because we did not speak what Jesus said. That’s why so many say this does not work. They have said things Jesus never said and never got what they wanted to get. If we want God’s Word to work, then we have to do according to what it says. If we are making a cake and it calls for one cup of milk, four cups will not work. ½ a cup will not work. We need to do as God said and then we can and will receive what He has promised, even to the removal of a mountain. 

Father, I ask you to meet every need my friends have. To bless and heal them. To set free and give them wisdom. I thank You for I know they shall receive these things. Remember that I love you! If you need anything, come chat or write me and I will do everything I can to help you.

'For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.'"

 

Things dogs must try to remember

The garbage collector is NOT stealing our stuff.

I do not need to suddenly stand straight up when I'm lying under the
coffee table.

I will not roll my toys behind the fridge.

I must shake the rainwater out of my fur BEFORE entering the house.

I will stop trying to find the few remaining pieces of clean carpet in
the house when I am about to throw up.

I will not throw up in the car.

I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc.

I will not chew my human's toothbrush and not tell them.

I will not chew crayons or pens, especially not the red ones, or my
people will think I am hemorrhaging.

When in the car, I will not insist on having the window rolled down when
it's raining outside.

We do not have a doorbell. I will not bark each time I hear one on TV.

The sofa is not a face towel. Neither are Mom & Dad's laps.
My head does not belong in the refrigerator.

I will not bite the officer's hand when he reaches in for Dad's driver's
license and car registration...

You Can Be Healed

I’m sure you realize faith for healing won’t come by reading secular magazines or comic books. To build your faith, you must read the Bible out loud and believe it is God speaking to you. Romans 10:17 explains this: “So then, faith cometh by hearing (this is why I read my Bible out loud to myself) and hearing by the Word of God." If we are desiring to be healed, then find scriptures that apply to your situation and take hold of those promises and apply them to your situation, to your life. This truth will change your life. Knowing that the Bible is God’s Word to you and you can take it and do something with it (John 17:17). Remember, the Bible tells us what God says about things. Men may say something else, but remember, they are not God. What they say does not always count, but what God says always counts. The person whose born again spirit is receptacle to the Word of God. God said what we think in our heart, so are we.  God wants us to get His words into us through our eyes, mouth and ears. From their God’s Word gets down into our heart and overflows back out of our mouth in faith and whatever we are speaking it for comes to pass, even our healings. So if you need healing, feed on healing scriptures daily. Your faith will increase according to how much time and effort we put into Hearing God’s Word. When the Word of God gets down into our heart, our mouth will speak faith words concerning healing and healing will come to our body. The Bible says our words either open up or shut the door on the devil and things. Words either open the door to the power of God, so He can bring what we desires, or they work against and in favor with the devil who desires to destroy us. There, we should only speak what we want to come to pass. But if we have not stored God’s Word in our heart, the words we have stored in there will come out of our mouth and bring what we do not want. So you see how important your words are! Put God’s Word in your heart and when you open your mouth, God’s words will come out. His words never return void, they always bring whatever they were sent to do.

 Father, please help my friends to understand how important this is. You said we have the power of life and death in our tongue. But you also said, we could fill our heart with Your Word and when we opened our mouth, Your words would come forth. I want Your words to come forth, therefore, I will fill my heart with Your Word. I will read Your Word out loud that faith will grow and grow and that nothing shall be impossible because I will be speaking Your Word. Now bless my friends and meet every need they have. Gifts


James tells us in his book that every good and perfect gift comes down from above, or we could say, comes from God. This should make it very easy for us in determining if it is from God or not. Jesus came to destroy all the works of the devil; therefore from this scripture we quickly understand that anything that the devil does is not good. We also understand then, that all the works including sickness is of the devil and not a gift of God. What would we liken a gift from God to? Our health, our new home, a nice car, a good job, and lots of Christian friends. We can see these are good gifts, therefore they have to be from God. Wisdom and knowledge are also gifts from God. Candy, ice-cream, cake, and pies, are these gifts from God? Not really, they are more a gift to the flesh and not always good for us. So we can begin to see that good gifts are those things that benefit us, make us better, make us happier, and  make us closer to God. We also know there are spiritual gifts that God gave to us. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are the two biggest gifts from God .Operating and flowing in the gifts of the spirit are also gifts from God. This makes the study on gifts an interesting topic. Not everything we call good gifts are really from God. Some become bad in the long run. God's gifts always draws us closer to Him and causes us to prosper and to walk in health. God keeps us out of debt. He creates a perfect helpmate for us. He will show us a good church, were we can be mentored and discipled. A good pastor is also a gift from God, so the Bible says. He will open our understanding to His word and cause us to see clearly all He has said. I like the gifts that come from God. We never have to work for them. We don’t have to pay for them. They will never hurt us. They will only bless us. Have you ever thought about this? I hope you are beginning to see a clearer picture of what are good gifts and what are not. Then if you search God’s word, you can find and locate the gifts that you would like to receive from Him. You’ll also learn the gifts that are not from Him and know how to walk in victory and not receive the gifts the devil has for the world. God is the God of love, He is our Father. He would never do anything to hurt us or anyone else. That’s why the Bible says, All good and perfect gifts come down from the Father. I will be praying for you. Praying that the gifts that God has for you will come into your life that you will be blessed God loves you and desires to bless you with Good gifts.

Being Fully Persuaded

Abraham, who is the Father of Faith, was fully persuaded in what he believed. Being fully persuaded should be our goal, but it always has to be in line with God's Word or with what God has said. Many Christians never receive what they are believing for because they are not in line with God. They are seeking after things. Jesus told us these things would come and over take us like a road-roller if we would seek the kingdom of God first. I don't need a million dollars in my bank account to serve God. If I seek Him first and there comes up a need for me to have a million dollars to carryout His Word, He will supply me with that need. If I center all my teaching on prosperity, not that God does not want us to prosper, then I am not balanced. If I am not balanced, God cannot move on my behalf. The apostle John told us that in 3 John when he said he wished we would all prosper and be in health. But that was not all he said! He went on to said, "Even as our soul prospers." We can see from this that God wants our soulish realm to prosper just as much, if not more, than for us to prosper or be in health. Why? That seems like it is not God's Word. Well, God knows that if our soul is prospering, then we will prosper and be in health. Why? Because we will know His Word, walk in His Word, and be fulfilling His Word. We will be seeking His kingdom first, and he will give us the desires of our heart. Not only that, we will be "fully persuaded". We will have no doubts in our heart because it will be filled with God's Word, not man's. I've always thought it strange that most prosperity preachers are always in need of money. No mater how much they have, they need more. According to the Bible, that is lust. I belong to God and I am doing His Work with all my heart, soul and mind. I have never lacked! God always takes care of all my needs because I am working for Him and He is my Father. He promised to supply all my needs according to His riches in glory. He does that all the time for me. I am fully persuaded He will always do that. I do not need to go to Him and ask for healing, because He has already healed me. I do not have to ask Him for wisdom and knowledge because He has already given that to me. All I need to do is study His Word, hear from Him and do what He tells me to do. If it's not working, then repent, seek His face, and start doing what He has called me to do. That's all! Daily I praise and thank Him for all He is doing for me. I thank Him for all of His goodness to me. I thank Him for His divine health. For supplying all my needs. I make sure my soul is prospering. I make sure I am fully persuaded. It worked for Abraham, the father of faith, so it will work for you and me. David said he never saw the righteous begging seed. Never!! So from that we can see God dose not want us begging, but rather seeking Him first and He will fully supply all our needs. I am fully persuaded He will do that and so far in my life, He has always done that! God blesses me daily. He loads me down daily with His blessings. He does all He promised to do and more. I am fully persuaded He will always do that for me as long as I seek His kingdom first, the other things in life will always come to me and right on time.

 

Father, I pray that all my friends will learn this wonderful truth. That they will seek you first and Your righteousness. That they will study Your word until they are fully persuaded in their hearts it is true. I know You will meet their every need because that is Your Word and You always fulfill Your Word. Now Father, meet every need they have. Touch and heal them. Give them wisdom and knowledge. Let them know I am always here to help them. Thank You Father. Total Trust In God

We cannot control thoughts from coming our way, but we can stop them from ever landing in our mind. When Satan brings a worried thought to your mind, just tell him to talk to God about it. It’s all in God’s hands not yours because you have placed them there. The devil tries many lies to get us to believe him. He tries to tell us we are not saved. That we have sin in our lives. That sickness is coming to us. But if we have committed our lives to God and stay in His Word, we know these are lies. We just allow God to handle it for us. God has promised to take care of us and fight our battles for us. All we have to do is stand on God’s Word. God has told us to cast down every thought that does not line up with God’s Word. That’s where we can stop the thought before it can enter our mind. Instead, we speak God’s Word that we have placed in our hearts. The Word of God teaches us to resist the devil and he will flee. Jesus told the devil “it is written” and by doing that, it defeated the devil every time. Do not be one of those who do not read or study God’s Word. We need that Word in our heart as it causes victory to come every time. The Word of God is our greatest weapon against our enemy. Not only that, but the Word of God spoken in our prayer life, always brings the answers we want. God always says “Yes and Amen or so be it.” But the devil wants us to listen to him so he can defeat us, cause us problems or even put sickness on us. The devil is always trying, but if we cast his thoughts down and speak only God’s Word, victory comes instead of defeat. It runs the devil off!  We have far more power then we know and when we speak God’s Word we see it go to work on our behalf. It’s powerful! It’s mighty! It’s awesome!! Faith works by us speaking God’s Word. Not only that, but faith comes by us hearing God’s Word. So we win either way. 

I don’t know about you, but I always want to be a winner. Speaking God’s Word assures me of winning. So I study the Word, read it out loud so I can hear it and I speak it every chance I get. My life is a life of victory and so can yours be. Father, I pray all my friends will study Your Word, Hear Your Word and speak Your Word so they are always walking in victory. Always winning! Thanksgiving

The Bible tells us a lot about giving thanks unto the Lord. It’s one of the highest things we can do. Praising the Lord with our mouth and all our being. Letting our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit know just how thankful we are. In our church, we set the Wednesday before Thanksgiving as a special day of giving thanks to the Holy Trinity for all they have done for us in this year. Every year we do this! It’s a very special night and everyone enters in. The testimonies, songs, specials are such a blessing. We love to praise and thank God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all they have done. We love worship in our church and in our lives! It is a important part of our everyday life. I start my day with giving thanks. I sing praises all day and continually give praise. God had done so very much for us and He continues to bless us every day. The same is true with our Lord Jesus Christ. Daily He is there with us, to meet our every need. Then there is the Holy Spirit. If you are not baptized in the Holy Spirit, you really need to do that. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and guide. He leads us into all truth. He quickens things to our remembrance all the time. I would not want to be a day without Him. He gives us our power and strength. He opens the Bible to our understanding. My, do we have a lot to give thanks about. We should never forget this very important part of our ministry. The Bible says this is our ministry, giving praise unto the Lord. David learned that and was a man after God’s heart. The Bible is filled with praise and thanksgiving. So as we come up to Thanksgiving Day, lets not ,for one second, forget to praise Them for all they do for us. Every day praise them and thank them. We can never thank Them enough. Never!! Just the gift of salvation would keep us thanking God all our lives. Plus all the other things He does for us everyday. Wow! 

Father, we thank You and love You with all our hearts. Jesus, we love You and thank You with all our heart. Holy Spirit, oh how we love You and thank You for all You do for us every second of the day. We will give thanks unto You every day of our life and through all of eternity. We love You!! Let Your Anointing Flow

 

In Acts 10:38 we see how God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power and how He went around healing the sick. Before Jesus ever did His first miracle He was anointed by the Holy Spirit! Without this, He could not start His public ministry and fulfill all God wanted Him to fulfill. I believe we not only need this in our lives, but we need to increase it for this hour. I know God wants us to increase this power for the hour we are living in. He speaks to us all the time that we need to increase this anointing and how He is doing that right now. Isaiah tells in the 10th chapter verse 27 that “the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” The world is in the worse shape it’s ever been in and it will take that anointing to destroy the yoke the devil is trying to put on people and the world. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:21 that it is God who anoints us. This is our Father and He wants us to have the best just like He wanted Jesus to have the best. So we know He wants to give us that anointing we need for this Last Hour! According to the Bible, if we want more of this anointing all we have to do is Thirst for it. We have to be thirsty and come to God and drink freely from Him (John 7:37-39). Jesus received the anointing without measure. In other words, so great you cannot measure it. God is speaking to us to be filled and anointed without measure or limit. God is pouring that out for these last days and just because you are kids does not mean He will not anoint you with this power. The Bible says “a little child will lead them”. That could be you! (John 3:34). The world is getting worse and worse but our power is getting greater and greater. When the devil comes in; like a storm God will raise up a standard or wall against him. That’s what the Bible says! We sing that song, “I’ve got the power” We have the power not the devil. God never anointed him. He anoints us to go forth and break his power, destroy the yoke he puts on people. To heal the sick and set the captive free. Though it may look like the devil is winning, he is not! We are the winners and God wants to give you a greater anointing. The question is, are you hungry enough to want it? Are you willing to come to God and receive it? It’s there for you today. Just ask God and He will freely give it to you.

 Remember I am here if you need me. Father, thank You for giving my friends a greater anointing. Thank You for anointing them with all the power they need for these last days. I love you Father! Many Aspire, but Few Attain

The word aspire means to come up from a lower level to a higher goal. Or to have as a controlling desire something that transcends one’s present capacity for attainment. Or we could say a desire to reach a special goal. Some small boys want to become a great football star. Some girls want to be the best mother in the world. These are aspiring for something they are not at the moment, but that they can reach if they are willing to do everything they can to reach this goal. In other words, it’s their choice and it takes work but they can reach it if they are will to go for it. Maybe it's being a doctor, lawyer or something else. Form my title, we see you can reach your goal, but at the same time very few do. Usually something comes along that temps them and they lose sight of what they really want and go for something less. Or, they see everyone else laying around having lots of fun and they give up, stop going for it, for something far less.

We see this in God’s family a lot, sad to say. We find that a good start is not always a good finish. It can turn around and be a bad finish. Saul is a good example of that. He started out good, but ended up going the wrong direction. In Romans 5:17 we see God’s will for our lives is birthed in all of us, but most are not willing to make the dedication and remain faithful to reach the higher goal He has for us. Our involvement in Spiritual maturity is volunteer, or our choice. Remember the story of Gideon? God called him and gave him some men to do a special job that would cause Israel to be a winner and Gideon’s name to be on the honor roll. We see that the first group of men he sent back home were those who were fearful. Why was that? They seemed to want to be part of Gideon’s army. We find that answer in Deuteronomy 20 verse 8. “What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted, let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren’s heart faint as well as his heart.” Wow! If they would of stayed with Gideon, the others would of soon lost heart and Gideon would have had defeat instead of victory. Wrong friends can cause us to lose heart and faint. From this we can see how careful we have to be in choosing friends who could influence us to go after worldly goals instead of heavenly goals. The second group to be sent home was the careless ones who were too unwise. They did not keep their eyes on the enemy. They buried their heads in the water (sand) and pretended everything was fine. Friends like this can lead us away from the goals God has placed in our hearts. We need to know the course (direction) God has placed in our heart and go for it and allow nothing to stop us. We can be one of those who attain or win. But we need to guard ourselves against things that will lead us away from that goal. We can reach our goal if we will guard ourselves against everything that would lead us away from that goal. It’s not as hard as it may sound. We need to have singleness of heart. Ask God what He wants you to do. Get that vision down in your heart and don’t allow anything to stop you. God’s rewards are far higher then anything the world of the devil has to offer. Be on God’s honor roll.

 

Father, I pray for all my friends, that they will become all you designed them to be. That they will not allow anything to turn them back. That they will be those who attain or reach that goal. I thank You for I know You will do because I have asked in Jesus name, according to Your Word. Thank You! Remember, I love you and I am here for you. If you need me, write or come and chat with me. When The World Says “NO!”

We're living in a time when Satan is fighting harder then at any time in History. The Bible says he knows his time is short; very short. Therefore, he is trying harder to defeat God’s children more than at any time. Battles are going on all over with those who are truly walking with God. Jesus told us we would have tribulations in this world, but to fear not for He had overcome the world. That means, we can stand strong on God’s Word and regardless of what Satan is doing or trying to do, we win. Our job is to believe God and His Word, not the world. Satan is the head of this worldly system, but we are not of this world. Our home is Heaven and our King is Almighty God. We operate by His rules and He gives us the power and authority to operate as if He Himself said it. Many Christians just follow whatever the world says. They do not believe they can do anything about it and that is not so. It is true we cannot change what God said will come to pass; but we can keep it from coming to our house, our life, our families lives. We can control that! Do you remember the story about the four Hebrew children? Even though they were in the enemy’s country and everyone was under the king’s control, these four did not submit to the kings laws when they were against God’s laws. They received promotions and the real King, God, protected their lives. When the enemy tried to do evil to these four, they always came out on top and ended up having a much better life because they stood for God and His Word. Do you remember the story about Joseph? His brothers hated him and sold him to some enemies, who in turn sold him to another enemy. But even under the control of the enemy, he rose to the top and ended up running the whole country and saving his people. From this, we can see that no matter what the world does or says, if we will obey God and do as He says, we will always be the victors! We win no matter what because we belong to God and He protects us and fights for us. That should be a very comforting thought in these troubling times. We can see the world going the wrong direction and nothing but war ahead for the world. A world dictator rising to rule. But for us, as Christians, we do not need to worry because we win. The enemy does not win; but we win. Therefore, we need to stand for God and do what He has told us to do; because only those who do, shall rule in this world and the New World to come. So do not be afraid of what the world says, but do what God says and be the winner every time!

Remember that I love you and am praying for you. Father, in Jesus’ name, continue to protect my friends and meet every need they have. Heal and provide for them and bless them. Thank you Father! WALKING IN HIS PEACE

 It’s so important for us to allow the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and guide. When we do, we come to the true understanding of God’s Word, He through the Holy Spirit gave. When the Lord said, “Look, blessed are the peacemakers. For they shall be called the sons of God”; He wasn’t saying that if you’re one of those who is always meddling around and trying to patch up quarrels between other people, while you haven’t taken the time to remove the great splinter in your own eye, or don’t even see it; that isn’t a peacemaker. A peacemaker is a person whose own life has such repose to it and such strength to it, and such serenity to it, and produces this same sense of rest, that you are blessed and not bane in this world, then you are a true peacemaker. We need to be so Christ like we can minister to others! The Spirit of God has to have total control of our lives so that He can flow through us and minister whatever the need might be. Then He can use us! There are three ways to reach this place where we truly are peacemakers in this world. First, we have to come to the place where we are willing to look very carefully at our own lives and ask the Holy Spirit and ourselves, "am I truly a peacemaker in this world?" If we are not willing to look at who we really are, we will never change and become what He desires for us to be. Everyone wants to be a miracle worker, but few want to become like Jesus. Looking at ourselves in a mirror and being very honest is not easy, but a must if we are going to change and become Christ like. We have to be honest with ourselves first, before we can be honest with God. Second, we need to deal with pride. The wrong kind of pride makes you feel so much better then everyone else. You look down on them without realizing you are doing this. Pride has no place with God. God hates pride! So if we want to be a true peacemaker, we have to deal with any pride we might have and realize we are only what we are because of God’s great love. This same love is there for everyone else and we can help them become all we are and maybe, even more. Jesus came to help us become all He was. When we become like this, others become first! We want them to be happy more than anything else. That’s God’s love flowing through us and reaching out to others. Jesus had no pride. He left all He was, to become like us, that we could become like Him. This is a very important step in our lives. This is when we become more Christ like and the Holy Spirit can and will use us. Third, we must always stand ready for God to remove whatever there is in our life that He does not want there. In other words, we must be willing to be changed. People see the real us, and if they do not see Christ, then they do not want to be like us; they are already like that. The Bible says He is changing us from one degree of glory to another. The more we grow, the more we change and the more we can help others. Notice, it is always for others! That is true love. That is the true peacemaker! He or she has truly become the sons of God. Their Christ nature is so strong, others are drawn to them, others are ministered to and needs are met and people are set free. This is the life of a true peacemaker.

I want to be a peacemaker! I do not want to be a busy body! I don’t want to be a meddler!  I want to be used by the Holy Spirit to minister peace to others! Holy Spirit help me and my friends to become all our Father wants us to be. Please heal, deliver and meet all their needs. I love You and thank You for being my teacher and guide. For leading me into all truths so I can change into His likeness and image to be. Remember that I love you and I am here to help you! Continually Walking By Faith

 When we get saved and the weight of sin rolls off our back and the peace of God fills our heart, there is great excitement. We seem to want to tell everyone we can that Jesus now lives in our heart. What we need the most right then, is to be fed the Word of God. Oh how we need the Word of God on a daily schedule. Milk at first, but as we grow, the meat of the Word. If we are not taught the Word of God we do not realize that there will be battles in our Christian walk. The devil hates God and he hates us because we belong to God. As we learn the Word of God, we quickly see we are the victors and that Satan has no power over us. We have to be careful the excitement of being saved does not wear off and start complaining, instead of speaking God’s Word concerning the attacks. When we see Christians who are begging to have more security, beginning to talk about their needs, we quickly see that their faith has backed off. They do not know the Word of God because they are not speaking it. Faith is a way of life and we have to walk in it every day. God gave us a measure of faith to start, so we could be the overcomers. But we forget that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. We have to stay in the Word daily and walk according to what it says. We need to keep up the heart for battle. It is easy to become tired of resisting the devil and push in to conquer and find a comfortable stopping place; a halfway house, as they use to say. But, doing this only brings defeat and more troubles. The devil steals whatever he wants from you when you are like that. The devil is a bully! He likes to bully people. But when and if you stand up to him, he runs away and you win. Once we’ve learned that; who wants to go back to defeats? Who wants to allow him to steal from you? It would be foolishness and we know it. So we get fired back up, see the victory and know we can win and go out and win the victory. We have to know in our hearts we are the winners no matter what it looks like, and be ready to fight the devil whenever he comes around. This is what God wants us to do! When we win a few battles we building our confidence up and we are no longer down, but on top. It's good to know God has made you the winner and the devil cannot stop it. Then we look forward to the devil coming because as fast as he does, we run him off. Give him another whipping! The more Word we get into our mind and heart, the more powerful we are. It’s like lifting weights. We just keep building ourselves stronger and stronger. Praying the tongues is a great way to build yourself up also. When we are strong, we are never tired, down or want to lay down. We can do all God tell us to do! God has created us to be powerful, strong, full of authority and His anointing. God has given to us the ability to be all He said we are. But it is a faith walk! We need to keep up the heart for battle. The desire to always win! No one wants to be a loser! God said, fight the good fight of faith. When we win it is always good. So don’t back off or run away, but build yourself up in the Word and allow God to pour-out His power through you. Fire yourself up and run the race set before because God has already given you the victory!

 

Father, please meet every need my friends have. Heal them and provide for them. Let Your Word dwell richly in their hearts, so that it flows out of their mouths and they speak the victory. Trust In The Lord

If we read Proverbs 3:5 in the “Good News” Bible, it reads: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know.” Now that is powerful and right on! Many people think they know and trust what they think and end up in big troubles. We see this in every thing. When it comes to the Second return of our Lord, people teach what they think, teach what others think, speak what they thing, but in truth do not know what the Bible ready says.  We learn from science what they think about our world, stars, food etc. Most of which is not true as they change their minds in a few years and tell us something else. We learn many things for our schools and at times these things are not true because they are what someone thinks. Even our parents can do this! They mean well, but at times its only what they think. One can quickly see the problems the world is in because of what someone thinks. Even the war going on in Iraq is basically on what people think and most has not been true. The weatherman tells us what he thinks is going to be our weather. His batting average is not very good at times. The reason being, we are doing what God has told us to do. “Trust In The Lord”! We have it on our money (yet) and yet we do not do that. So when it comes to our Christian life, we have to make a big change. We have to come to the place we “trust in the Lord” regardless of what anyone says. If God said it, then it is true and we need to put all our trust into that. When we put al of our trust in the Lord, He always fulfills His Word and brings the answers He has promised. For years science did not believe the earth had four corners because it was round. But now they have found out it has four corners and God’s Word was right. God has warned about global warming and now, finally people are seeing it and know it is happening. People have told the world Jesus is coming and now we see all the signs of His soon coming. The problem is people trust what they think and not the Lord or what He has said. Before we can be everything God said we could be, we have to totally trust in Him and Him and His Word. If we do not believe a swinging bridge across a great golf will hold us, we will not cross it no mater what some offers to pay us. If we do not think a air plane will fly, we do not fly on air planes. It is so simple! How can we trust God and do what He asks, or believe what He says, if we do not trust Him? We can’t! That causes big problems for us in every area of our life. Sicknesses come. Death comes! Problems came! Why? All because we do not believe God because we do not trust Him. We trust what we or someone else believes. It is time for all of us to trust God with all our heart. It’s time to trust His Word and believe what He has said. Jesus is coming soon and we can walk in the victories He has promised and win, but we have to Trust Him! We have to trust His Word. Even when our senses tells us no, we have to trust the Lord. It is so important. We can do it. We just have to make up our mind and say we are going to trust the Lord regardless of anything else. We need to refuse to believe anything but what God has said. Putting all of our trust in Him. That’s what this scripture verse tells us. Let’s start doing it today.

 

Father, help us to trust You above everything else. Help us to trust Your Word over all other words. Help us to walk in total trust to You and Your Word. Thank you father, for we ask in Jesus’ name. Father, meet all the needs of my friends and bless them in every area of their lives. Draw them close to You and protect them. Thank You. Faith Stabilizers

Every believer needs to build into themselves “Faith Stabilizers” in order to be all God desires for us to be. What are “Faith Stabilizers”? “Faith Stabilizers” are scripture verses that we use whenever the enemy tries to do anything against us. The Bible is filled with 1000’s of these “Faith Stabilizers.” If one does not know these, when the enemy comes, he does not know how to drive or resist the devil and he will not flee from you. David put it this way:” Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.” When we put God’s Word into our heart, we build in a strong hold that will not only keep us from sin, but it will stop every attack the enemy sends our way. They tell us who we are in Christ, what we have been given; and what we can do. When we were saved, someone told us what to say. As we repeated the words and asked forgiveness, Jesus came into our hearts to be the Lord of our lives and our sins were forgiven. In a sense we used some “Faith Stabilizers” that caused our faith to receive Jesus as Lord, as we confessed the words given to us. In the same way, we take God’s Word, which are the weapons of our warfare we use, and speak them, God hears them, and He brings the victory we want. It’s really easy! As we read our Bible we find key words that bring victory in different areas of our lives, or maybe a victory for someone else we are praying for. We are to store these words in our hearts for when we need them. There are scriptures that help us run fear off. To help us with our un-forgiveness. For sorrow and grief, voctory over oppression and general healing. If people do not study their Bibles as they should, they never know there are verses for everything we have need of. They never learn to use the scriptures to bring into being, all God has given to us. Some just stay in the area of money, sad to say. Money cannot buy health, happiness, or peace. We need a lot more than money. Money is wonderful, but if I am sick, I need healing not money. I find in God’s Word scriptures for my healing. Did you know God promised not to allow the same sickness to come on us the second time? So when Satan tries to bring something back to me again, I remind him of what God has said and I also remind God, because He told me to “put Me in remembrance.” Many people who have cancer need to know this because cancer seems to come back a second time. Or, how about the common cold? If I do need money, I remind Him I am a giver, I give my tithes and  he promised to supply all my needs according to His riches and to rebuke the devourer for me. If Satan steals from me or someone else, I tell him what God said about robberies and how I know he is the thief and that he has to return to me 7 times over because I have caught him. Do you know scriptures like these? The Bible is full of them! I told a man who Satan was trying to put cancer on the second time, he could not do that because God said so. He took that scripture, along with healing scriptures and very quickly they could not find any cancer in him. We need to arm ourselves with God’s Word. We need to know what God has said and what we can do. We need to know how to use the scriptures to get the victories already given to us and what we need. Put God’s Word in your heart today. Arm yourself with God’s Word and when any battle comes, you’ll have the victory. It’s all in God’s Word and it's that easy.

Father, please meet every need my friends have because You said You would supply all their needs. I thank You for that. Heal their bodies and set them free. I love You Jesus! Thank You Father. Faith To Overcome Everything

 We know from the Bible that God gave us a measure of faith to profit with. Without faith it is impossible to please God. And those who believe God’s Word must walk in faith or have actions with their faith or else it is dead and does nothing. We’ve heard this a lot, and I hope you have heard this. But at times we still do not grasp a hold of the teaching so that we walk in every step we take in total faith. We often think we do, but when battles come and they will come, we quickly wonder why. We doubt our faith or God’s Word without knowing we are doing this. The Bible tells us, that our Christian walk will be a walk of warfares, but to rejoice because Jesus has already given us the victory. When we understand this, the battle stops much quicker, sometimes before it every really starts and we walk in the total victory that is already provided for us by Jesus. When I was very young, my pastor laid a solid foundation for our faith to be built upon by using this illustration. He still does! I have always remembered his teaching on faith!  Through his teaching, he painted a picture of what faith was and how it worked. One that was so powerful, you never forgot it and your faith became overcoming faith. Listen carefully as I paint this picture in your heart, so that you too, can always walk in that overcoming faith. We all know what a furnace is. Most houses have one of some type, even if it is electrical heat. Now a furnace is like faith. God gave us faith. A furnace was built to bring the heat we desire into our house. Our faith was designed by God to bring into our lives everything we have need of. But! The furnace cannot bring heat into our house without a thermostat. Faith cannot bring anything into our life that is this is not in our heart. Not our head now; our heart. That is very important now! The thermostat could be called a goal setter. The Bible calls it hope! “Faith is the substance of things hoped for!” In order to get the furnace to bring heat into our home or lives, we have to set the thermostat on what we want the house to be. Then, the furnace will go to work and produce what the thermostat is set on. We can quickly see, it must remain set on what we want, or we do not get it. When we read God’s Word, we find hope! Hope for healing, salvation, good grades, or whatever. When we see that, it brings hope into our heart and we want that. That turns our faith on and whatever we set it for, it brings into our lives. But, our faith has to have something to be set on! If it is not set on anything, it’s like the furnace; it will bring nothing. We can also see, that hope is not what the world teaches! I hope I get that! No, it’s a confident expectation. God’s Word said we can be healed for example. We see it and we need healing. Hope comes that God will do it. Noticed I said “will do it.” Confident expectation! We believe it and our faith goes into action because we just set our thermostat on healing. Healing comes and we are healed! This will work in every area of our life. A thermostat has many numbers on it. You can set it for 65 and get 65, not 70, not 63. Hope is the same! God’s Word is filled with the promises of God. Each one different! They’re like gold nuggets. As we find them, hope comes into our heart. That sets our thermostat and faith goes to work and brings that answer. Remember, it has to get into our heart. That means we have to not just know it’s there, we have to believe it is so. When we believe it is so, faith brings it to pass. We also have to remember, we cannot change our thermostat’s reading, or we will not receive what we really want. Hope has to stay set on what we want, until we have the total manifestation in our hands. Because, like the furnace, if we move the thermostat just one number, we do not receive what we want, because we were double-minded like the Bible says. Heart knowledge normally never moves. It is not moved by what it sees. It sees the thermostat say it is 60, but set on 70. It knows above and beyond any doubt, it will reach 70, because it is set on 70. So it does not move it. It has faith it will do what it said it would do. That is faith that always wins!

Father, I pray my friends will learn this teaching. That it will be painted on their hearts and brought to their remembrance every time they need it. That their faith will be the strongest faith ever seen. That they can bring glory and honor to Your kingdom and glory to Your name. Thank You Father. I love You! THE GREATNESS OF GOD

I heard someone once ask my pastor, how he got such great faith. I’ll never forget his answer. “It is not the greatness of my faith that moves mountains, but my faith in the greatness of God.” We all know that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. But it is all the faith of God! God gave each of us a measure of faith. But God is all faith. God’s faith will always work! God is always there to move on our behalf. When God moves on our behalf, we always receive the victory. The main reason we can always walk in victory is because Jesus already gave that to us. The only reason we can get healed is because Jesus already gave us healing. The only reason we can get saved is because Jesus paid the price for us to be saved. Many times we spend too much time worrying about how much faith we have, when, if we would only use what God has given to us, it would be more than enough. I believe that the devil causes us to spend all our time trying to get what Jesus already gave us. It’s an old trick of his (the devil). If he can get us to spend all our time doing something for ourselves, we do not have any time to do things for others. Yes, we need to spend time reading God’s Word and in prayer. But then, we need to go out and do something with the faith we have. Faith without actions is dead being alone. Faith and actions go together like your fingers on your hand. One without the other would not be of much use. But both together you get done what is needed to do. God’s faith is more than enough. So we need to spend the time in the Word reading it out loud, that God directs us to. We need to spend the time in prayer it takes to pray for all the things God laid on our hearts. Then we need to be more busy doing what God wants us to do. When we do that, God moves on our behalf and we are not worrying if we have faith or not. We are doers of the Word and because we are doers of the Word, we see more results than someone who just sits around reading the Word of God and praying. Faith has to have actions in order for it to work. That’s why God gave us our faith! Faith needs to be a normal part of our life. When we see someone who needs prayer, healing or a miracle, we should allow our faith to go to work so they have whatever they need. When faith is really our life, we are always doing what God tells us to do. We still read the Bible and pray everyday, but we also do the work God wants us to do. His faith is more than enough! God’s faith is the greatest and you cannot add to it or take away from it. It’s ready to go to work whenever we are. So put your faith to work today and you will be surprised at all the answers you get.

Putting God Always First

When the storms of life come, it’s what happens IN you that will determine what happens TO you. When Jesus was teaching us about the wind and storm beating upon us, He said if our feet are grounded in the sand, we shall crumble and be defeated. But if our feet are upon the rock (Jesus) we will not fall but win. Now that is good news! Psalm 16:8 also tell us, “I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Wow! Being protected against anything that comes! That’s a very peaceful thought and it fills our hearts with peace, joy and confidence of what is ahead. Only God knows what is ahead! We do not know what tomorrow holds, but if God is at our side and before us, we can know we are perfectly safe and that we will always win. Right now, the world is filled with all kinds of troubles. We hear our parents, teachers, preachers and friends talking about it. It can be scary! But, if we know that God is in front of us, none of this can hit us as He will protect us. If He is walking by our side, then again He is there to protect us. If God is always there, we always win and no harm can come to us. If God is there, then His angels are there also. They do His warfare. So we also have His angels surrounding us. WOW! Talk about being safe, we sure are. I always like to read God’s Word and see how wonderfully He has protected all His children. It gives me confidence that I am always ok. That there is nothing to fear as God is always there. When we know this, no matter what we hear people say concerning what is ahead, we know deep in our heart, Our God is with us. He will protect us! We have His promise on this. Don’t you just love all the promises God has given to us? He told us to put all our trust in Him and He would deliver us. That means, keep us safe and give us the victory. No wonder He told us in Matthew to seek Him first and everything else would be given to us. If we put God first, or in front of everything, He will make sure we have everything we ever have need of. In that story he uses the birds, flowers in the field as an example. He takes care of them and we see the birds and flowers year after year regardless if its hot, cold, dry or snowy. God takes care of them! If God was able to create everything we see, then He is well able to take care of us. The Bible asks us, “Who can stand against God?” Nobody! He is God. The Bible tells us God know the beginning to the end and everything in between. So if He knows what is ahead, He is more than able to take care of us. He can keep us safe! When we really thing of it, only God really knows what is ahead. Man does not know. So all their talk is foolishness compared to God’s Word. I would much rather trust the One who knows what will really happen, then someone just guessing. There. I will put God first and in front of Me at all times. I’ll do what it says on our coins and dollar bills. I’ll trust the Lord. In God I will trust! That way, I am always protected and He will always show me what is really ahead. He loved me so much, He gave me a Book telling me all He wants to do and all that is going to come. He said if I put Him first in everything, He would give me everything I will ever have need of. How can I go wrong? I can’t! I will always be the victor if I put Him first. If He is always in front of me and by my side, I’ll never lose. Thank you Father! Thank you Jesus! I love You!!

 

Father, in Jesus name I ask you to meet every need my friends have. I ask you to draw them very close to you. I pray they will love you so much, they will always put you first. First over everything! I know if they do that, You will always be there for them and they shall always win. Thank You!! I ask this all in Jesus name. Until next week, remember I am here for you. We Can Always Trust God

“Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead Lazarus was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, ‘Father, I thank thee that thou hast head Me (John11:41) Faith always counts things done before God has acted in this natural world. “For no promise of God can fail to be fulfilled” (Luke 1:37). In a world where everything seems to be going bad, we know one thing. We can always trust God and His Word. The news can be a scary thing today as we hear about the weather, wars, missiles, sicknesses and other things that are happening; but one thing we know; we can always trust God and His Word. Lazarus was dead and in the grave when Jesus got there. He had been in the grave three days and might even stink by now. Do you remember when the word came to Jesus that he was dying? Jesus said he would not die but live. He would be ok. To find him in the grave would be enough for others to believe it was to late. But, not Jesus! His Word had gone out and it will come back with the answer it was sent for. So he just lifted His eyes toward heaven and thanked His Father for always hearing Him. He knew if His Father heard, then He had the answer (1 John 5: 14-15). He Himself had told His disciples in Luke 1:37 that no promise of God could fail to be fulfilled. It would come to pass if we believed. Here He shows these very truths in action and the answer comes. Lazarus came jumping and praising God from the dead. Even raising the dead was possible if God had promised it! I don’t know about you, but this causes my faith to rise. I get excited and want to fill my heart with all the promises of God I can. Then when I need them, when I need help; I can speak them just like Jesus did and the answer will come forth. I can sleep at night because of knowing this. I am not afraid of the dark or bad news. I know what God has promised and I know He will do what he said if I just believe Him. I trust in God! These are not just words, this is the truth! I trust in God will all my heart. I know in my heart that God will do all He has said He will do. He told me in His word, that He watched over His Word to make sure it was fulfilled. That no word spoken from my heart will go out and return empty, but He would do all I ask Him to do, and more. WOW! Trusting in God fills our hearts with joy, peace, love, and faith. Faith comes as I speak God’s Word and God hears me and He answers my prayers or what I have asked for. This is the trust we can have in God. No Word of God can fail but it will be fulfilled. These are His Words and He watches over His Word to make sure it comes to pass. What more could we ask? So if we hear bad news on the TV, or from people, all we need to know is what did God say about that. We have His promise! If the devil or world is trying to send things that are not of God, we can take God’s Word, speak it, and change things. Why? Because they speak the words of the world and we speak God’s Word. God causes His Word to be fulfilled and in doing that, He stops the world’s or devil’s words from coming to pass. I don’t know about you, but I am going to put my trust in what God has said. There is a 100% guarantee covering every Word God has spoken; that it will come to pass. No other words has that type of a guarantee. Matter of fact, not even a 50% guarantee. So, why trust those words? As for me, I’ll trust in God’s Word for it will not fail but will always be fulfilled. I get my answers by trusting God always.

 

I hope you trust God and know that no Word from God ever fails, but id always fulfilled. Stand on God’s Word and see His answers come to pass. That sure helps us walk in faith and not fear. Thank you Father for Your Word. Thank You that You have supply every need my friends will ever have. I love You Father. I love You Jesus. I love my friends also. Remember, I am here if you need me. Stay With What God Has Said

 

Today we are hearing many things about places being destroyed, wars,  and the end of the world. Sometimes that can be very scary to us, unless we know what God has said. People can say a lot of things and usually they mean well. But not everything they say is always right. It can be wrong! So if we will just get into God's Word and find out what He has said, then it will make our life a lot easier and more fun. One things we know for sure! God said He would keep His people safe! He said He would take us through this time walking in victory. He said the Church, that's us, was going out of here in total victory. He said He would not pour out His wrath on His children. Now these are the things God has promised us. So no matter what someone else says, we have God's Word on what He is going to do. Now that makes me feel much more comfortable and at peace. I know I can trust God and believe His Word. Just because someone is a pastor, evangelist, or a prophet; their words must line up with God's Word or they are  false. I live in New York State and I am not afraid of what might or might not happen to New York City, because God has told me I am perfectly safe right here where I am. Now people there might want to hear from God and do what He tells them, but as for me, I know what God has told us through His true prophets and His Word. So why should I worry about something that is not going to effect my safety? It would not help anything at all, only cause me problems. Therefore, I will believe what God has said. I would not live by any of the oceans, because of what God has said. I would not live in the drought effected areas because of what God has said. But here, I am just fine. I know God will also show you what to do! He said if we asked for wisdom, He would give it to us. So all we have to do, is ask Him. Notice I said, "ask Him". We are to put all of our trust in Him and He will deliver us. That too is His promise to us. So we do not need to live in fear as it is not of God. We do not have to worry just because we are kids. God loves us and He watches over us to keep us safe. I pray for your safety everyday. I talk to God about you! I know He hears me, so if I know that, I also know He will do what I have asked Him to do. So don't allow fear and worry to come into your life. Know that God is going to keep you safe. He has charged His angels around you to protect you and keep you safe. Therefore, why worry. Just trust God and His Word. When He speaks to you, do whatever He tells you to do and you will be perfectly safe. What more could we ask? God loves us and watches over us and protects us. We are better off in a sense then adults! God will do His job concerning us. Isn't that good to know? Isn't it wonderful to know God is the one protecting you?

have experienced; he decides to grant them one wish each, before
they enter Paradise.

They're all lined up, and God asks the first one what the wish is. "I
want to be gorgeous," and so God snaps His fingers, and it is done.

The second one in line hears this and says "I want to be gorgeous too."

Another snap of His fingers and the wish is granted.

This goes on for a while but when God is halfway down the line,
the last guy in line starts laughing.

When there are only ten people left, this guy is rolling on the floor,
laughing his head off.

Finally, God reaches this guy and asks him what his wish will be.

The guy calms down and says......

"Make 'em all ugly again"

The Greatness Of God’s Word

No other book in the entire world is as rich and full of truths pertaining to life, than the Bible. The stories excite the heart and give substance so faith works. When we were counseling to get married, our pastor told us, “Prayer is the key in the hand of faith that will unlock all of heaven’s storehouse for you. Don’t go over the threshold without it! The income of God’s Word is the outcome of a changed life.” Everyday we study God’s Word together and pray. One can put a 1000 to flight, but two 10,000; so God’s Word tells us. We have not been married 7 months yet, and yet we have gone through 7 or 8 big Bible studies. We see God’s blessings everyday. His Word says that daily He overloads us down with blessings; and we see them. When we study God’s Word, we get hope. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for”, it is the evidence of things not seen. Without substance we have nothing for our faith to grab onto and bring into being. We get this substance from reading and studying God’s Word. God’s Word paints a picture in or heart and we believe God for whatever His Word has said, and faith goes to work on our behalf and brings that from the spiritual world into the natural world where we have it and others can see it. We saw it in God’s Word and believed it. Others could not see it because it was not revealed to them from God’s Word because they were not hearing what we were. This is why the Word of God says “that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God”. We read it out loud, even talk about it and then we pray. What a joy we have because we did what Pastor said and we did not cross the threshold with out God, prayer, and faith. The Word of God is our daily food. We eat it, over and over. Joshua was told to do that and he would prosper in all he did. We see his success and know God is not a respecter of people. What He did for Joshua, He will do for us. This is where our hearts are and it fills them with hope, love, joy, peace, and all the promises of God. When and if trouble ever comes, we already have God’s Word in our mouth and heart. God said, "No weapon that is formed against us can prosper". We have God’s Word on that! His Word is settled in our hearts, and in Heaven forever. We will always take the time to read and study God’s Word together. We will always pray together! By doing this, we can never fail! We will always be healed! God will fulfill His Word to us. The Bible says that God watches over His Word to fulfill it. So we want to know His Word so He can do that for us. I want to teach you God’s Word so you prosper and are in health even as your soul is prospering. I want to be a blessing to you! I want you to always be a winner, a over-comer!  Therefore, I have to know God’s Word so I can speak it over your life and teach it to you. Cause a hunger in your heart so you get more of God’s Word in your heart. Make you want to read and meditate on it every day of your life. Then I know you will prosper and be in health. Everything you put your hand to, will prosper. That’s God Word; and remember, He is watching over that Word to fulfill it. That’s His promise to us. That’s why I love His Word so much. It brings me so much closer to Him and teaches me all about Him and His love. His love flows through me and touches you. I love each of you! 

Father, please meet every need my friends have. Heal them and set them free from all the traps of the devil. Teach them Your Word so they will not sin against You; but love and serve You instead. Thank You Father for I ask this in Jesus’ Name and therefore we have it.

I Have A Dream

This was just Black History Week and over and over we heard those words. A man with a dream! But God told us that way before that man ever came on the seen. God told us, our old men would have Visions and our young men dreams. This includes girls too. God gives to all of us dreams to fulfill in our lives.  We need to make sure we heard God’s voice and recognize His dream for us. Samuel almost missed it because he did not know who was calling him. The priest or prophet of that day did not even know at first. From this, we can see we are the ones to recognize the dream or dreams God gives to us. We do not get them from our parents, schools, teachers, friends or anyone. A true dream comes from God. And according to God, they are for young ones. That’s us!!  God plants a dream in our lives of what we should become. Joseph had dreams and became all God wanted him to be. He became the one who saved the Nation Israel at that time. Samuel was perhaps the greatest prophet/priest of the Old Testament. I do not know about you, but I know God gives us dreams. I had a dream of being married and now I am married. I had a dream of writing this “Kid’s Page” and now I am doing it. I have a dream of having hundreds in my children’s church. Hundreds! Not just a few! I believe God and one day I will see 100’rds of children sitting in my children’s church. We have the main prop already built and things set towards that goal. Why? I Have A Dream! I believe God has given dreams to you also. Things He wants you to do before He comes. I know we do not have a lot of time left, but I also know we can do what ever our dream may be. Dreams do not need to take forever to come to pass. But sometimes we need to be careful of who we tell so the devil will not slow us down. But, we need to talk to God about our dream. We need to find out from God how and when He wants us to fulfill our dream. We need to let God know we see our dream and even though it may look very big, or even hard, that He will show us how to do it. Not only that, He will make our dream come to pass. There were times in Joseph’s life when it looked like his dream would never come to pass. That he was at a dead end and there was not way out. But God always brought him out and God took him all the way to the top and God fulfilled his dream for him. The devil could not keep him down because he believed his dream! He knew God had given him his dream. And as we read his life’s story, we see how God took him to the top and fulfilled that dream and saved all of Israel because of it. We also know God is not a respecter of persons. Therefore we also know God will fulfill our dream for us, if we believe Him. Your dream is not too big or too hard, for with God all things are possible. All He asks us to do, is only believe. Believe your dreams and see them come to pass. Not all dreams are from God, but I know that you know which dreams are. Believe the dreams God gives and be the victor.

Things Are Subject To Change

Paul, God’s apostle told us in 2 Corinthians 4:18 “…the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” So God’s method is to take an eternal force; which is faith; and change the things that are seen, the temporal things.  The word temporal means “ subject to change”. That means, if you can see it, feel it, touch it, or taste it, then you can take your faith and the Word of God and change it. I have very good news for you! All evil is temporary! These is no permanent evil. Sickness is subject to change. Poverty is subject to change. Faith in your heart is a spiritual force inside of the human spirit which comes from the Word of God. Faith in the heart gives the human spirit the ability to conceive what God has promised. Then, after the conception, there will always be a manifestation of what God promises. God’s Word teaches us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Substance is raw material, or the thing that would cause the manifestation to come. There is more power in the spoken Word of God than most people know. Therefore, if God can get us to speak His Word, He can bring those things that be not, into manifestation for all to see. God gave us all things through His promises, and by conceiving the promises in your heart, you can be a partaker of His divine nature and bring those things into your life or the life of others. What’s the bottom line? Have faith in God’s promises and confess them daily. This is God’s will! I believe the words of Jesus brought this subject into clear focus when He said, “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matt. 12:34). In other words, when we get God’s Word into our heart, they will come out of our mouth and set faith into motion and change things so that what God has promises comes into our lives and the evil stuff goes. Let me give you seven reason what this works: (1) Confessing of God’s Word works because it is the way you sow seed in the kingdom of God (2) Confessing of God’s Word works for you because it causes faith to come. (3) Confessing God’s Word works for you because it renews the mind to the Word of God (4) Confessing God’s Word works for you because it keeps the answer before you. (5)Confessing God’s Word works for you because it changes your heart. (6) Confessing God’s Word works for you because set the law of faith in motion. (7) Confessing God’s Word works for you because it puts the angels to work for you. Arm yourself with these seven reasons for confessing God’s Word and put them to work and watch as things seen change and the promises of God take their place and you walk in those promises.

What Is Important To Us

In 2 Samuel 22:31 we read: “As for God, His way is perfect, the Word of the Lord is tried, He is a buckler to all them that trust Him.” The most important thing in our lives is not how big our faith is, or even the size of our faith; it is the One behind our faith that is important, and that is God Himself. This verse starts right out telling us, as for God, His ways are perfect. From this, we can quickly see that if we follow God’s ways and do as He has told us, our ways too will be perfect. This is why Jesus could tell us “to be perfect, even as His Father was.” Jesus gave us the perfect example to follow if we desire to be perfect. People will tell us we cannot be perfect, but Jesus said we could. How? By doing, saying, and acting like God. Remember, God is perfect! So, if we do as He did, speak like He did, live like He did, we will also be perfect. Throughout the Bible we see verse after verse telling us how to be perfect. Must be we can! Now, the devil does not want us to be perfect or to be like God, so he tells us and works through others to tell us we cannot be perfect. If we believe him or them, we will never be perfect. But if we believe God and His Word, we will change little by little until we are perfect just like our Heavenly Father. Just like Jesus said we could be. This verse goes on to say, “the Word of the Lord is tried.” That means it has been tested and found to be true. When you try, or test something, you put it through all kinds of tests. Just like the teacher tests you in school to make sure you know what she taught because it was true; it works. So, God’s Word has been tested for over 7000 years and it is always found to be true. It will do all He has said it would do. That tells us, if we stand on it, trust it, do as it says, we will get whatever it says we will. God’s Word has been tried! Then this verse goes on to say, He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him.” This word buckler means a “shield – or protection, or protector. God is a protector, a shield to all them (that’s us) that trust in Him. In other words, God will protect you, shield you, if you will put your trust in Him. The New Testament says He (God, Jesus, His Word) will stop all fiery darts shot at us. They will never hit us. They always miss us, “if” we have put all our trust in Him. Let's put this whole verse together now and see just what God will do for us. His ways are perfect, so if we walk according to all His ways, we shall be perfect also. That’s good news! That places us in His perfect will and we can ask whatsoever we want and He will do it for us. It opens all the doors of God’s blessings to us. It places us in the place of perfect safety. God Himself will fight our battles and we will always win. Not only that, but His Word has been tested by 1000’s and always found true and trust worthy. It will do what it says it will do. Man’s word cannot promise that! Only God can promise that because His Word has been tried and proven true over and over. We can bank on it. His Word is trust worthy! When we do this, He said I will become your protector, your shield. Nothing will hurt you as I will be there for you because you have put all your trust in Me. I watch over My Word to fulfill it. So God is watching His Word to make sure it works for us because we trust Him with all our heart. This is good news! We can be perfect. God’s Word is always true and will do what it says it will do. And because we trust Him, He will protect us and shield us from all evil. The devil cannot touch us when we know this. God will not allow him to, because we have put all our trust in God and His Word. Isn’t that wonderful? Doesn’t that bring peace and joy into your heart. God has done all that for us. No wonder He is more important than the size of our faith. He is the power and authority behind our faith, God Himself!!

 Father, I ask you to meet every need my friends have. To cause this to find fertile ground and produce 100 fold; that they may become all you want them to be. The Collar

A priest was walking along the school corridor
near the preschool wing when a group of little
ones were trotting by on the way to the cafeteria.

One little lad of about three or four stopped and
looked at him in his clerical clothes and asked,
"Why do you dress funny?"

He told him that he was a priest and that this is
the uniform priests wear.

Then he pointed to the priest's little plastic
collar insert and asked, "Does it hurt? Do you
have a Boo-boo?"

The priest was perplexed till he realized that to
him the collar insert looked like a Band-Aid. So
the priest took it out to show him. On the back
of the collar are raised letters giving the name of
the manufacturer.

The little guy felt the letters, and the priest asked,
"Do you know what those words say?"

"Yes I do," said the lad who was not old enough
to read. Peering intently at the letters he said,
"It says, 'Kills ticks and fleas up to six months!

Faith Is As Natural As Breathing 

In the Book of John, chapter 15, verse 7 we read, (NIV) "If you remain in Me and My words remain in you; ask whatever you want, and it shall be given to you".  In other words, if we read our Bible everyday, meditate on the Word of God everyday, so that it gets into our spirit (heart), we can ask anything (according to His Word or will) and we shall receive it. This tells me, that when the spirit (heart) is in perfect fellowship with the Lord, faith is as natural as breathing. Faith should never be a problem or concern as long as we are in the Word of God, and the Word of God is in us. That should make you want to read your Bible more than ever. God told Joshua the very same thing in Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law (God’s Word) shall not depart out of thy mouth; (just don’t cast it out without it being from your heart) But thou shall (first before you speak it) meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe (make sure you do it) to do according to all that is written therein; for then (after you have done this) thou shall make your ways prosperous, and you shall have good success”. Again we see how important it is to get God’s Word into our heart, so when we speak, it will be God’s Words and we shall prosper in everything we do. God love’s us so much, He has explained to us how to be successful in everything we do. He love’s us so much, He tells us how to prosper. In another places in the Bible, He says we should see everything we put our hand to, be victorious. Have you ever read Deuteronomy chapter 28? There are 68 verses in that one chapter. The first 14 verses tells us all God is going to do for us, if we get His Word into our hearts, speak them out of our mouths, and do all He tells us to do. Great things He has promised to do for us, if we will do this. That is powerful! When you read it, your heart (spirit) just comes alive. Hope is birthed for all God said He would do. We love that! But the next 54 verse in that same chapter tells us what will happen if we do not do what He told us to do in the first 14 verses. 54 verses tells us all the bad that could come, if we did not know and do the first 14 verses. That’s over 3 times more verses covering bad things that could come, then the good things God want us to have and should come. How do we stop the 54 verses from coming to pass, as none of us what the bad things. It is easy! Just do what verse 1 says. So really, we only have to do one verse to get all the blessings and stop the 54 bad verses from ever happening. God has made it very easy for us. He says here, if you will do and keep verse 1, the next 13 verses tell you all the good He shall give, or bring to you. If you do not do verse 1, then the bad things in verses 15 through verse 68 will come against you. He is pleading with us to do this one verse, so the 54 bad verse never come to pass. Now that should be very good news to us! That takes us back to the first verse I started this study with. Here again, God says do this very same thing, and when we do, we can ask anything we want (according to His will) and He will give it to us. God is in the blessing business, not the cursing business. God loves us and He wants to fulfill our greatest dreams and wishes. It’s His desire as our heavenly Father to do this to us, His children. I don’t know about you, but when I found this out, I made sure I read my Bible everyday. I thought upon every thing I read. I put it in my heart so I would not sin against God. I have watched as He has fulfilled all His promises to me. I know it works because it did for me. I know it works because God said so. I pray you will do the same!

 Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask the Holy Spirit to become the teacher and guide of all my friends. To teach them God’s Word. To fill their hearts with God’s Word, so their mouth speaks God’s Word. That they carryout God’s Word in their lives. Thank you Father, for I ask in Jesus name. Fishing with Baby Sister

A boy was taking care of his baby sister
while his parents went to town shopping.
He decided to go fishing and he had to take
her along.

"I'll never do that again!" he told his mother

"Oh, next time I'm sure she'll be quiet and
not scare the fish away," his mother said.

Omnipotence

Omnipotence, a big word! Many may not even understand what it means; and yet, it is very important to the believers. In the Book of Revelation we read these powerful words: “For the Lord God Omnipotence reigneth” (Rev. 19:6). Smith Wigglesworth once said, “Faith keeps itself occupied only with His omnipotence.” Omnipotence, just what is it and what does it mean to us as believers? The only definition Vines Expository Dictionary can give is “Almighty.” Now the word “Almighty” means, “ruler of all” and it is only used of God. This word was introduce as a translation in the Septuagint comes from “Lord or God of hosts.” However, Webster says this: “Unlimited power, having unlimited power, all powerful, the center from which all power exists.” The word “almighty” carries the same type of a meaning: “Having virtually unlimited authority or influencing power.” Power to change anything! No wonder Wigglesworth said, “Faith keeps itself occupied only with His omnipotence.” No wonder Revelation puts it this way, “For the Lord God Omnipotence reigneth.”  They are telling us there is only one power over everything and every power; and that is our God. He has unlimited power! He is the center or source of all power. The devil and his angels may think they have power, but they have nothing when it comes to God and His power. There is no power on earth or in heaven, or under the earth that is as great or powerful or has more authority or power, than God. God’s power is unlimited! If we look at that and understand that, we quickly realize that all our faith needs, is the power of Almighty God. We can rest in the fact we know our God holds all the power ever needed to stop, change or put down all other powers. It would be like us, hooking a chain to the back of a big Peterbuilt truck, and us holding that truck still, when it wanted to go forward. The truck would drag us down the road as fast as the truck wanted to go and we would not be able to stop it. If we had a car, we would not be able to stop it. That’s like God’s power! Nothing can stop it or even hold it back. When our faith is centered in God’s power, nothing can stop it! Jesus told us, all power and authority was given unto Him. Jesus has all the power now. Then he gave that power and authority to us, to use in His name. So, in a sense, we have God’s power flowing in us and through us. When we place our faith in God and His Word, or in Jesus, nothing can stop us. No power can hold us back. No power can destroy us. Why? Because we have all the power of God working in us and through us and God has all the power. Like the song says, “I’ve got the power, in the name of the Lord.” Our faith, standing in God’s Word, is stand in the power of Almighty God and it cannot fail. You have God’s power in you. Use it! You'll find that it works!

 

Father, I ask you to make this word real in their hearts and minds. Let them understand the power in them because of You. Let that power flow out of them and touch others to bring salvation, healing, miracles, deliverance or whatever else they may need. Thank You Father for doing this, for I ask in the Name of Jesus and He said You would do it for me. Thank You! I love You!

Faith Takes God Without Any "Ifs"

When we try to walk like God says we can walk, we must first take the "ifs" out of over vocabulary.  God’s Word is always yes and so-be-it. Faith is not wishy washy as they say! James tells us that a double-minded man or woman is unstable in all their ways. That plainly tells us, that we cannot have it both ways. Its either yes or no. There is no middle ground whatsoever!  The faith message is not something new in the last 40 years as some think. I know I am not even close to 40, but I know that! Faith was what Jesus, Paul and the other apostles taught. God even warned us to not add to or take-away from the Word. Hebrews says, “now faith is,” not going to be! Faith basically means we believe what God has said. It’s not something added to or taken away from. Its not man’s interpretation of what God said; it’s what God said! God gave us the Bible, His Word, so we could know what he said, what happened and what is going to happen.  God did not say, if you believe this ok, but you can believe that if you want to. God said, “This is how it is!” People seem to have a problem with that and they want to add to it or take away from it. That is why we have so many different beliefs today. Yet, according to God, there is only one way! One of the famous preachers of old said, “ Faith takes God without any "ifs". If God says anything, faith says, “I believe it and will act on it! Faith says, Amen to it.” (D.L. Moody). Moody has been dead just a short time in a sense, but religion sure has gone a long ways from that saying. Paul said, “Now Faith is!” and people don’t seem to believe that either anymore. God said He gave everyman a measure of faith to prophet with. That means God gave us the faith we need to believe what He has said. Now without that faith, it would be very hard to believe all God said we are and could do. But, with the faith He has given to us, everyone of us should be able to say what D.L. Moody said! “Faith takes God without any "ifs"! If God says anything, and He has; faith says, “I believe it and will act on it. Faith says, amen to that!” Remember, amen means so-be-it! Therefore, we should be able to believe whatever God told us in His Word and act on it, or we could say, “Believe for it!”  Man has tried to help us, but often they add things on to faith that God never put in His Word. Jesus has finished His part, now we are to believe Him and do our part. We can do it because He said we could. That settles it as far as I am concerned!

Father, please help my friends to stand on Your Word and not be moved by anything anyone else says. Let them know Your Word in their hearts and speak Your Word, because that brings the answers You said were ours! Thank You for that Father for I have asked this in Jesus name according to Your Word! Remember that I am here to help and pray for you!
